Could it be Charlie Cotton in the boot of the car?
Could devious Vincent be playing Ronnie and actually have organised a switch?
Ie Vincent was in the boot but was rescued and turned the tables or something akin to this? |

I wish it was a possibility that Jack Branning was in the boot of that car by some tragic mix-up... He's been back 5 minutes and I already want him crushed in the back of a car, at least then he wouldn't be able to return and shag everyone

On the subject, more seriously, its an interesting theory. I was under the impression Ronnie's contact screwed up and got the wrong person in the boot... However Vincent getting free and turning the tables is an interesting possibility, but I'm not sure that's how this is gonna play out and I don't think its Charlie in there... I hope its not anyway, I liked him and Dot has lost too many relatives and loved ones already.
Oh God could you imagine if...

We have seen some mistakes by the BBC before but I think if they every wrote "Charlie Slater to die at Christmas. The EE favourite married to Ronnie Mitchell in the BBC Soap will be found dead in a car boot.

I hope not. It took a couple of months to reveal that Charlie was still alive. Don't waste a future return on this. The way DTC handled his character this year was appallingly bad after such a strong first year. Getting him mixed up with Ronnie and Vincent was a mistake. It's as if he was axed because the writers messed up so badly and didn't want to bother fixing things for him.
He could've been paired with Stacey instead after she was released from prison. I didn't really care for her relationship with Dean, plus Dot is quite fond of her. Martin is boring and the nonsense with Kush probably wouldn't have happened. They've already killed off Ashley and Bradley (he was Dot's adoptive grandson but close enough). Don't do the same to Charlie. Not sure if DTC would bring Charlie back for another stint. Maybe a future EP would if they want to use him for something. |
