Tracy was released soon after the tram crash due to the DNA scientist giving evidence at her trial being a fraud........................

Most of the street got a tongue lashing from her and most of them believed she did kill Charlie................
Despite DNA having absolutely nothing to do with the case. She admitted from the start that she killed Charlie, there was never any doubt about that. The only question was whether it was in self defence.

Was it something about her saying she snatched the statue off him when he attacked her, but his DNA or fingerprints wasn't on it?

Yes, I think it's the case that Ken and Peter are of the opinion that she may in fact have been innocent.

I'm assuming that 99% of her neighbours and other acquaintances believe her to be a killer though, especially given the fact that she seems unhinged half the time.
Murdering aside, it looks like Tracey might have something like "antisocial personality disorder" and you would think someone would encourage her family to get help for her.

I almost, but not quite, grew to like Tracey when she was back with Steve. I wish they would tone her down a bit. Its good to have a villain but she is too panto for a long term character in my opinion.

Tracy gets some good lines though, but they are over-using her. And yes is threatening her long term future now if they continue to escalate her badness as they have been doing. Maybe when David and Kylie and the Platts storyline kicks back in, that'll tone the Tracy storyline down a bit.

I could probably use a lot of the equipment in a gym but absolutely can not do stairs. Mobility problems are not always obvious.

Because by law public places need access for wheelchair users.
I am nearly sure there is a ramp though...along the front behind where Izzy's lift appeared from.
So if there is a ramp, not sure why the lift is there. Those sorts of lifts are usually not in public places as they are open to vandalism and kids messing about in them.

There is always some that assume guilt before and after a trial, but I think in Coronation street the decent ones would certainly give her the benefit of the doubt.
Her defence was that she was attacked and defended herself, and everyone knew that Charlie was violent, so that would make sense, I think?

Am I confused, or does David Platt know that she murdered Charlie? Was he looking through the window or something?
As far as I remember David never saw anything but when things weren't going Tracy's way at the trial David claimed to have seen everything through the window. He backed up Tracy's story that Charlie was attacking her with a knife & she clobbered him in self defence. He then blackmailed Tracy into sleeping with him (he must have been really desperate!)

I don't remember if she ever told him what really happened.

Tracy and the rest of the family's behavior are a direct result of Kens stupidity. It began on the first day he entered University. He wore that scarf too tightly around his neck shutting off the blood flow and much needed oxygen to his brain. He didn't participate in normal student activities. Oh no, he was above that was Ken the academic.
When he was droning on about universal health care I was down at city hall kicking the mayors door demanding more bread and circuses, plus the distribution of free hillbilly crack in all mosh pits at rock concerts. While he was turning the socialist manifest pages I was turning student loans into wine. Tracy is still in his house under the influence of his foolishness. And now I see the little Jimi Hendrix lookalike is going to be treated to the same. Ken should take my advice and have Audrey cut that scarf off or little Jimi might use your head for soccer practice. Oh happy days ahead.

My disabled dad goes to the gym regularly to strengthen his arms so his wheelchair is easier for him to handle.

I think he did actually witness the murder; he was looking through the window. I'm gonna have to search YouTube for a clip now - just to make sure

I can't remember the details, but the lack of his fingerprints and DNA would be unusual in itself. Of course, it was brand new ... I don't think we'd ever seen it before.

(I'm not actually sure whether you'd expect DNA on something like that, but it's possible that in the circumstances, if Tracy's story were true, you'd have sweat on the ornament).

Tracy was released soon after the tram crash due to the DNA scientist giving evidence at her trial being a fraud.

She was more of a nightmare then than she is now. She insulted Claire by taking the micky out of her dead husband Ashley's voice and Claire later hit her over the head, but unfortunately didn't kill her. That would have been a fitting end to her.

She seduced David and possibly Nick as well (can't remember if she did or not).

Blackmailed Steve and Becky into giving her custody of Amy - otherwise she'd report them for "buying" Max.

Insulted Norris and then asked him for a job in the Kabin, not realising that he was now how owner.

Most of the street got a tongue lashing from her and most of them believed she did kill Charlie.

All of that and more within three weeks of returning to the Street.
The return was a complete embarrassment. It was a shame considering the great Tram Crash week, but the aftermath was ruined with her stupid face and moronic smile (which funnily enough Gail made reference to).

I did tolerate her a bit more over the course of 2011.

This is what i might have said if i wasnt hungover!

I have no doubt disabled people do u use gyms, just not in the numbers required to justify the expense of a wheelchair lift, when a ramp would (and frequently does) suffice.
Didnt mean to offend anyone

She was great with Rob. They started to humanise her and I loved her scenes with Amy. She was still bitchy, but it wasn't 24/7.

Then they decided to make him a killer. And have her constantly seeking revenge.........

It was a very unusual lift to have on the outside of a building because, as you say, any Tom, Dick or Harry could jump in it and go up and down in it like a yo-yo for a laugh. It would make more sense to have it on the inside after you enter the premises through a swipe or keycode system

Tracy's madness and evil streak came out of nowhere. She was perfectly normal up until 1999, but when she returned after a three year absence in 2002, the rather implausible personality transplant was under way (coinciding with the change of actress of course).

Yes I remember the old Tracey as being rather petulant and hot tempered but nothing like the monster she is now.

has anyone noticed how whenever someone is doing something shady and underhand on a pc, they never close the window when someone comes in, or clear the history?

He didn't witness it at all. However he claimed to have seen (through the kitchen window) Charlie approahing Tracey with a knife in his right hand. Only it turned out Charlie was left-handed so it was clear he was lying.

Yes, as if you would just put the screen off on a pc in a public office. Just for someone else to put it on and see what you have been doing

Also where is Tracy going to say she got the 10k from?
