Has anyone noticed that there have been a lot of 'private' conversations taking place in the Bistro lately:

- Steph being questioned by the police about the break-in involving her ex with Tracy smirking at the bar area
- Carla going to tell Nick about her one night stand with Robert with Tracy smirking at the bar area
- Carla handing over a large wad of cash to Tracy in a brown envelope
- Nick revealing who he was going to sell the Bistro to with Tracy smirking behind the bar

Spot the common theme running through all of the above

I had already spotted that whenever the sale of the Bistro was ever mentioned Tracy was always hanging around like a bad smell, regardless of whatever time of day it was suppose to be, I am actually very surprised Amy still recognises Tracy as they hardly ever spend any time together.

Exactly it is not as if they are in a major hurry to sell it (well not in his mind at least) as they have only just decided to make a life change. There is no need to sell up and move on within a week or two. Although this is a slow process for corrie. Most characters decide to leave and have somewhere to go and have packed up their lives and belongings within a couple of hours

Yes, last night the well worn soap staple, someone barging into a scene shouting, "what's going on" before they are through the door, was used by Tracy to boring effect.

Do schools really accept pupils taking whole days off to attend bereavement counselling sessions for the death of a great-grandmother?

The upcoming Corrie wedding between Carla and Nick will no doubt have Toxic Tracy waiting her chance to reveal Carla's secret. It is the way of things these days.

Being the saddo I am, who watches old episodes of Corrie, I have seen recently....

Elsie & Alan
Deirdre & Ray
Emily & Ernest
Gail & Brian
Rita & Len
Deirdre & Ken
Alf & Audrey

.........get married without any kind of drama whatsoever. Just nice simple weddings with a feelgood factor.

What happened

Although it was good to see that Robert has at least been reading this thread.

"Shouldn't we be having this conversation in private, like after we shut" did make me chuckle.

If I wanted £10K from my bank I would have to request it and go back at a later date

Just been doing a bit of googling and it seems that now, due to the amount of fraud that happens, many banks refuse to allow withdrawals of over £5,000 in cash, and sometimes transfers, without notice and without proof of what you want the money for even for customers they know well..

It's doubtful Carla would be able to get £10,000 in cash just by visiting her branch as it appears she was supposed to have done.

As for Tracy telling Robert it was some of her start up loan for the florist, when he finds out the truth, as he surely will, I'm looking forward to his reaction of telling Tracy to get lost, but not the amount of wailing, overacting and plotting to get her own back on Carla and Leanne.

Audrey is looking for an untrained assistant to fill-in during Maria's absence. Will Marta be the only applicant?

Even if she isn't, we all know where the lucky applicant will live.

Inside of the vicarage? That's a first.

And no doubt she will be a fully trained hair stylist and even if she isn't she will pick it up within 5 minutes of being there and will be left in charge of the shop while Audrey floats off to do whatever Audrey does and David and Kylie disappear off to have random arguments with Sarah or Gail.

Bethany intercepting all of those texts/emails is a huge SOR. It's just not realistic. All contrived just so that they can rush head first into a bullying storyline. Where is the build-up to storylines these days? We haven't seen Bethany or Sarah for ages and suddenly we are expected to invest in this storyline immediately? It's so so poor yet again.

Maybe the ski mask and distinctive racking sound of the pump gun helped.

Oh, nooooooooooo.............!!!

Well, that's it for me. I've had enough and I think it's time for pastures new. In fact, there's a fishing match on the radio at the same time that I'd rather be listening to whilst I'm watching some paint dry.
