No doubt this will lead to some story with Jake being taken into care or something, but honestly who cares seeing as he is never around and even when he does make an appearance he looks like a doll than an actual child. Then we will have to put up with more crying from Izzy and Gary will have another breakdown and heavy breathing.”

They dont really take children away for cannabis use do they? I thought it was on the verge of being legal?

What on earth was the scene with the three old biddies at the gym all about? Well, tbf, Audruh didnt look too bad but what was Ma Nazir doing with those handweights? Cheerleading? And wouldn't one of the instructors have pulled Gail up on that arse swaying thing? Terrible form.

I'm guessing Gail having her resistance turned up and then possibly having injured herself because of it was supposed to be funny?

David said he came to the school to tell Sarah that Gail was injured so couldn't make it. Yet Sarah had her phone in her hand. Gail could have phoned her to tell her!! Very odd

Or David could have phoned/texted her. Very poor excuse to have David turn up to make funny comments about his time at school.

Can't believe Bethany managed to intercept all emails and texts from the school to Sarah. Sarah wouldn't leave her phone unattended for hours at a time. Bethany was bunking off school. She wasn't with Sarah or near her phone to be able to deal with queries from school. And what school would be content not to actually speak to the parent in the supposed circumstances?

Yes, you would. Many people smoke cannabis but not tobacco while a novice might not know how to properly make what you call "hash cakes".

The whole passport thing is rubbish anyway. Lots of people lose passports while they're out of the country and manage to get emergency ones quite quickly.

RIP Tony Warren. There would be no Corrie, and certainly no SOR thread without his vision, and he has left behind a great legacy -- for better or worse.

I liked Becky's relationship with Roy/Hayley. But she was just Karen mark II, and the duels with Tracy....yawn, seen it all before!!

Really hope tonight marks the start of some originality when it comes to scenes. Every episode seems to start with Carla/Michelle talking about Tracy over coffee/wine, Carla heading to the bistro and giving needy Nick a kiss, Tracy hanging around the bistro and calling the shots, before giving an ultimatum to whoever she's pissed off at.

I absolutely hated Becky.
I was so glad when she left.
Why couldn't SHE have been killed instead of the beautiful Michelle Keegan ?

Michelle Keegan wasn't killed, Tina was.

Personally Becky should have gone to prison for all the theft, assaults, drunken behaviour and criminal damage she had caused. But instead she got a fairy-tale wedding and ran off with a rich businessman (poor bloke) and got engaged. We are meant to overlook her criminal behaviour and think of her as a nice person with a heart of gold.

she brought Max which is child trafficking and illegal, and daft as she is his aunt so could have easily adopted him as a family member

I think a school would certainly question this, as Bethany is in year 11 and a bereavement counselling session wouldn't last all day!

didn't they only do a scaring off new girlfriends storyline (with Kevin) the other week?

wouldn't these women be asking why random strangers why they're so concerned about their welfare when they've never met before?

Tina was also a criminal. But like Becky she was a Corrie regular and therefore got away with everything.

One minute Andy is serving in the bistro and snowed under the next he walks into the rovers!

So Eileen, Jason and Phelan go around in a pack now do they? A bit like Mary, Liz and Erica. Speaking of the lovely Liz, what the hell has that woman had done to her face? She looks like someone has ironed out the creases and then frozen it in time. And those red plastic boots she had on the other night.

But then there is Erica all done up for Dev. Liz and Erica are only a whisker away from looking like drag queens.

Although there was just a bit too much boob, Eva looked marvellous. The actress has a wonderful figure and has done brilliantly to lose weight, have a baby and keep it off. As for the stuff at the big house, it's hard to believe that those people didn't get the spuds peeled before their guests arrived.

Meanwhile at the bistro............ same old, same old.............

I know it is, and it is ridiculous that they make it so difficult to get you hands on your own money! as I said they just used to need to know what denominations (that was why you would arrange it in advance, to make sure there was enough in branch and the right denominations)you wanted and they used to give it to you in a brown envelope. I am well aware of the money laundering rules, having bought sold and rented out property, it just didn't used to be difficult and I still don't see why you should need to tell anyone what you want to spend your own money on!

I usually think Clare King is quite attractive but she looked like a raddled old tart tonight. And why does starting a relationship mean you have to stroll up to someone nd start chewing their face off? Can't you just ask them if they fancy going out or something?

And how convenient that Jason & Phelan just happen to have a labouring job that fits in with Andy's shifts. What a coincidence! Just when he needed a bit of extra cash to pay for a holiday for Steph too!

The 'everybody finds work on the Street' is getting so ridiculous now.

She's not bad looking but a face full of fillers and and an OTT makeover didn't help. I assume they were trying to make her attractive but it just didn't work.

Dunno about Liz though. Is she meant to be taken seriously as an attractive woman with her look (too much make-up and the red plastic boots ) or is she meant to be a joke?

And funnily enough Anna is just as bad as the minute she got with Kevin they already began discussing merging their families and Faye even asked Kevin if she will have to call him dad. Yet we were meant to view her as the better option to Kevin's "clingy" girlfriend.

It always amuses me how they try and portray characters outside the street as either outright boring, over the top, clingy, or dodgy, yet the characters in the show are not really perfect themselves.

Just as long as they don't let him anywhere near any money!
