It was a bit rich - Johnny Connor getting on his high horse because Aiden hadn't known what Eva was up to, when he's covering up Carla's theft or embezzlement or whatever of £10,000 from Underworld.

Sarah keeps reminding Bethany just how clever she is but even Sarah has underestimated her.
3 letters to the house, 6 text messages plus however many emails, all intercepted by Bethany (rolls eyes).
Not even MI5/MI6 would be that good.

Not an sor but I’m finding Mary increasingly irritating. It’s as if she’s swallowed a book of quotations and every time she opens her mouth, a couple of them escape

two billy issues

no mention of sarah's baby billy when she was asked if she'd been pregnant before

and billy-no-mass barging in on eva and aiden in the private quarters of the pub

as both Todd and Jason have been father figures to Bethany I don't see why she couldn't open up to both of them.

it's a bit odd knowing the age of Lucy fallon though as she's older than the real teen kids playing the bullies

I can see why michael hates Phelan, he is muscling in on Eileen, I mean, when the hell do acquaintances randomly turn up and cook your kid some breakfast

and michael was sleeping at Eileen's yet he lives elsewhere

NO LILLY, again. family baby shower and she's not there, not even a mention of she's in bed, so where the hell was she, at a sleepover with Ruby?

nice nod to the past though with Gail and Suzie, remember those two trying to clean Elsie Tanner's (no,.11) chimney by putting bricks down it. only they got the wrong pot put the bricks down number 13's chimney and got the ogdens covered in soot

SOR was Phelan making breakfast at Eileen's, I presume he doesn't live there, so who would go round to a workmates first thing in the morning to make breakfast for him and his mother?
Also , I wish they would make up their mind where Michael lives, he was seen coming out of Andy and Stephs first thing in the morning the other day, yet he comes downstairs at Eileen's in the morning wearing his dressing gown .
Then we have Todd asking Beth if she wants to go to his place, when he is sitting in Eileen's and we all know he lives there, what was that about/?

i really hope the new producer reigns it in with these inconsistencies in the writing. it's lazy writing just to suit the story

I think Michael lives with Andy and Steph but has frequent sleepovers at Eileen's

Why are Michael and Phelan acting as if Andy's Michael's son

I was trying to remember where Todd actually lives. I remember he was kicked out at some point but can't remember if he ever moved back.

Yes he will enjoy his sleepovers, I suppose.

Unbelievable really that Andy and Steph would be putting up with Michael living with them , would any young couple really want that boring old fart living with them all this time? Has the man no pride, he must know he is out of place living them? Then again , this is the man who was quite happy to share a boxroom at David's, even Eileen isn't so daft as to get lumbered with the moocher.

Is that what you really want. You haven't thought of the fallout if this happens. This forum would fold like a cheap suitcase, former members walking around the streets with bewildered looks on their faces. New residents with an iq higher than room temperature being introduced so they could be on kens level. Not for me I'm afraid. I'd rather Park the car and put a hose on the muffler than see consistency.

Why did Michael get so annoyed with Phelan? Why did Andy look so guilty? Why did Phelan refer to Andy as 'Yer lad'?

Jason is the boss and Andy is not Michael's lad.

Jason was licking his knife in close-up. Yuk.

Corrie love to make a point about bad table manners, bacon barms and greasy-spoon food in general.

Corrie should make their mind up where Michael, Todd, Sarah and Bethany live.

Do Michael and Eileen both work at Streetcars on the switch? When one is on duty the other is always sitting in the chair. Do they ever get a break from that place?

In the episode just after Tim's arrival as owner (the one where Eileen first said she had an afternoon shift and Michael later said she had the afternoon off ) there were Tim, Eileen and Michael all hanging about.

Why would you want to spend any more time than necessary there?

Bethany’s reaction could, but not necessarily, also be an SOR because she’s such a strong person. I doubt that she’d just bunk off school, throw a cake and cry at text messages – she’s such a confident person, and not being able to cope with the bullies would be such a shock to her that I think she’d become more withdrawn, especially now that bullying isn’t restricted to personal contact.
I agree that Bethany would be more withdrawn and not come back from school to the Platt's and immediately kick up a stink with her mother the second she came in, in front of her family and neighbours. The reaction she gave with Todd later in the episode would be the kind of reaction most children who are being bullied would give.

When Bethany left the Platt's house after her strop did Sarah presume Beth had gone home as she didn't seem concerned as to Beth's whereabouts as she didn't go looking for her. If Todd hadn't have brought her back to the Platt's, Sarah would not have even known that Bethany was 'missing' in the first place.

Also what off licence/shop sold Bethany that cheap beer while she was in her school uniform?

Oh lordy, Mary is getting worse, I can't stand the woman with her stupid quotes. They need to axe the character, she's awful!

That's a point. Where will Sarah and Bethany live when/if Nick leaves. I would be worried if I was Sarah, knowing Nick's plans to move away.

Yes, but he was forgiven, and I'm almost certain Eileen took him back. I'm sure if he lived elsewhere, it would have to be somewhere on the Street, as we all know no one can leave there, and I can't think of anywhere he could be living, all the flats are taken, and he doesn't lodge with anybody.

I remember that. Poor planning.

Roy is much the same. Neither of them converse like other people.

We never see Sarah and Bethany in Nick's place. All their 'home' scenes take place at the Platt residence.

I think so too. Corrie really take the p with their writing.

I thought Todd moved back home too.
It was the word "place" that seemed wrong to me. If he had said "my house" I think it would have sounded more realistic, but "my place" somehow gives the impression of a penthouse with black silk bedding.

Yes where do Sarah & Bethany live? Wherever it is you'd think Sarah would have wanted to get her own place, especially now she's about to pop out Callum's baby. I know she only does about an hour a week at the Rovers but she would be entitled to housing benefit, child and working tax credits & child benefit for Bethany & the baby when it arrives so I'm sure she could manage to afford a flat of her own. But of course this is corrie & benefits aren't allowed so she's probably living off £7 a week or whatever the rovers hourly rate is

If they're at Nick's (presumably 2 bed flat) that means Sarah & Beth & the baby will be all sharing a bedroom! Unless Nick is going to rent the flat to them & move in with Carla. Can u imagine the que for the bathroom in a morning if Carla stayed over at Nick's?!

Most of their scenes seem to be at the Platts so if they're living there they must be sharing the spacious boxroom that Gail & Les loved so much! Good job Gail had an ensuite squeezed into the garage - imagine the que for the bathroom in that house!

Unless of course they are living in Audrey's never seen house? If they are no doubt when she gets together with Ken she'll sell up & they'll all move into number 1 along with Tracy, Robert, Simon & Amy . I hope that outside loo is stir in working order!

Sarah is living at Nicks, but I cant think of any time his bedrooms have been shown. Those flats are supposed to be swish though, aren't they? so maybe he has three?

I'd be worried if I was Nick. When he turns up in Cornwall expecting to buy a restaurant with his £90k he's in for a shock.
