I would have assumed that but Nick's been in that flat more or less since they were built & I'm sure its been referenced at some point during that time that its got 2 bedrooms.

But then again I can vividly remember Todd & Jason being really annoyed that they had to share a bedroom when Eileen first moved into number 11, yet now there's frequently room for at least 6 people to live there

Before that I thought Jim McDonald had built an extension & 3rd bedroom upstairs when Liz was pregnant with the little girl she lost. So I guess the houses have whatever amount of bedrooms are required at the time and all my points are irrelevant!

Didn't he move in with his aunt Julie, who then moved away, presumably leaving him in her flat? Not certain about this, but that's what I thought happened.

Yes, most of us would be, but then she's not worried about having a child when she has nowhere of her own to live, no partner, no real job and a teenage daughter that she can't handle.

well remembered, Todd lives at number 12, which is the flat behind the Kabin. but if he;d gone there then Bethany would not have been interrupted by Jason as she was about to spill about the bullying

Sarah and Beth aren't bothered because Nick is not going anywhere! That's another example of poor planning.

Julie and Brian bought that flat. Maybe Todd's renting from them. But we wouldn't know as it's never been mentioned and we never see Todd in there. Corrie are very lazy when it comes to using their set.

This amused me. Now we need DS to remind us that forgettable scenes and storylines have infact been nicely tidied up and need never be mentioned again. I had actually completely forgotten that Alya and Gary were ever an item. I wonder who they will pair them up with next. Writers must be furiously working out the permutations of who can be paired with whom and what spare rooms are available to move characters around in the neverending musical beds game.

I also think some new writers must've joined the show and don't understand what went on with Michael and notgavin in the past. They seem to mix up whether they are related or not. At least Michael remembers he is still married to Gail.

David was very tanned when he was at the school with Sarah - orange in fact. I guess he could have used fake tan or gone on a sunbed, (at Audrey's salon maybe?), but it looked a bit odd to me in the middle of winter.

I am confused (not unusual with Corrie's haphazard storylines) if Marta is a slave for the O'Driscoll's do they have a factory at all? And if so does she work there or did she work at their house as an au pair or such like?

The O'Driscolls have a "clothing company", which could mean absolutely anything from a wholesaler to a stall on a market.

They claim Marta is an au pair.

David's always had an on/off tan for years. I remember when Tina first started, she called him a 'wotsit' because he was so orange.

Did Marta previously live with them? If so, I don't understand why they don't seem to have noticed/be particularly bothered that she's scarpered? Or have I misunderstood somewhere?

Same with me. I don't have any sympathy for Bethany. Right from the start she was a smug, insulting and unlikable brat. An unoriginal and very unconvincing rushed storyline.

When the mardy cow through that cake, it reminded me of the Gail/Deirdre Manchester tart scene in the same room. Now that was a brilliant scene. "Ken , do something......"!

We're all in the dark and confused.

He'd be lucky to get a burger van for that price down here!

This is one of Corrie's (and other soaps') biggest SORs - they never get income, value, costs anywhere near realistic.

People are employed without asking about wages or hours (and are often employed without any skill or experience in the job), lifestyle bears no resemblance to income, houses and properties and bought and sold in hours (Streetcars being the latest) with no thought of value or contract time ...

Don't know if this has been mentioned already. Beth's rash on her face cleared up as soon as the storyline finished. Next episode, her face was clear. And no mention of the free 'cut and blow' she was offered for a whole year at Audrey's.

The o'driscolls are the biggest suppliers of cheap clothing to China and bangaladesh, India and Vietnam. They have to have people like marta to sew like the wind to keep up with the demand. They use underworld to supply their upscale clientele in New York, Paris and Rome etc. Quality over quantity is what the knicker stitchers are renowned for.

Think you made a typo and got that the wrong way round! When we see the knickers the machinists (don't) produce, I wouldn't even use them as cleaning rags. I'd rather buy from China, Bangladesh, India and Vietnam - at least you expect cheap knickers from them to be rubbish.

I doubt that anything with the "Underworld" label on would even sell at a car boot sale.

I'd say quantity over quality. That should be their slogan.

Rewatching, Todd mumbled "My mums" not "his" place or house, which makes more sense.
Do they teach diction any more?

ETA.
For those who dont want to know the plot in advance... Dont look at the mail online today. The fools have got a picture of a future scene in full view on the sidebar with the words "spoiler alert"

We used to see Nick's flat quite often when Leanne and Simon lived there.

Todd mentioned his mams when they were sat outside on the bench. He mentioned his place when they were at Eileen's and Jason came in

Had to look. Don't know whether to or !

ADVANCE WARNING!!!

For those of a very sensitive nature or just don't like spoilers, do not sneak a peek.

Spoiler

Saw that coming and they would make a brilliant baddie couple. But expect it's all going to end in tears........... They're much better suited than Eileen and wimpy Michael. Wonder if Michael go back to Gail now?

I had a look too, seen as it was too late, and
Spoiler
I thought it was hilarious that they described Eileen as "bubbly" . I agree they make a good couple though. Even with the stealing, blackmail and sexual coercion and threats, Phelan would be a better bet than Mopey Michael.
