The stupid tiptoeing was about him asking her to be his plus one for a wedding of all things.
Doesn't Erica have to check her diary that she is free on the date of the wedding - whenever it is

reading a book on the 50th anniversary and one of the past writers said that the script writers should spend time in the story office, to help them write better scripts

least we dont get episode like the 60s where one was lucille hewett lost her purse and everybody was looking for it
We had a couple of storylines a couple of months ago where Aiden lost his socks and about a week later he couldn't find his highlighter.

Riveting it was

I've never known of a children's party where a child Roobeh's age was left there while the parents went off. And one Urp's age would be a bit of a push. Slovenly pair.

How many more times do we have to see Dev and Erica tiptoeing around each other before they inevitably nip upstairs for a sh@g?
What the heck was that ridiculous whinny noise Dev made too? If I was Erica I'd have turned round and walked straight back out

I missed that bit - they just dumped Ruby at a party & buggered off? My daughter would go mental if I did that, I can't even go to the bathroom alone never mind leave her alone in an unfamiliar place with people she didn't know that well. But she's probably used to being passed around different babysitters as all the corrie kids are with random people 24/7 instead of with their parents.

But they clearly had been upstairs for that purpose - when they came downstairs Dev's shirt was only partly done up with one button out and half the collar was tucked in. The stupid tiptoeing was about him asking her to be his plus one for a wedding of all things.
The plus one was just as bit of nonsense to have a repeat of the tiptoeing around each other prior to rushing off upstairs. Mary didn't turn up for the paella for that reason. How many more times are Corrie going to repeat Dev and Erica being all coy and then nipping off for a bonk?!

Apart from two mature adults having sex, what the heck was the whole thing about? It certainly wasn't about a plus one or paella. Why do Corrie kep repeating stuff? Dev and Erica have already had a couple of let's get together scenes.

There is damn all chemistry between them. Just a real air of 'oh well haven't had it off for a year or so, better get a few in while I can...even if it is with you' type of thing.

Fiz said something along the lines of 'awww i hope the kids enjoy the party' in her dreadful baby voice, and Ty replied something like 'oh they'll love it.'

Seemed like Fiz and Ty left them for yonks too as they then went to the chippy I think? Which I assume means the party must have been at about 10 which in my experience of kids parties means it would have been over by 12 at the latest

like someone else said earlier on though, at least the writers are acknowledging the characters have kids and giving a nod to their abscence, even if the explanations are a bit of a stretch of the imagination

good point, I loose track of all the half relationships in the plat house hold,
Sarah and Nick are the only full blood siblings.
Nick & David, Sarah & David, Max & Lilly, Max & Harry, Bethany & Harry are all half siblings

BIG SOR in this weeks episodes

no mention of easter what so ever :P

then easternders were just as bad having lucy killed on good friday 2014 then having them remember the anniversary on good friday 2015 which was, of course, a totally different date
Fiz and Tyrone went to Freshcoes to buy the kids easter eggs

Is it possible to do repeatedly do the deed with someone yet be embarrassed to ask them to go to a wedding? Are there strict rules regarding "F. Buddies"? It is all a mystery to me.

A real life SOR. The actor who plays Tyrone was punching above his weight with a rather sexy girlfriend. She has now left him so you can guess why.

The person who bought his house said he was not the tidiest around the house.

He used to spend a lot of time on his own a few years back in local pubs hogging the fruit machine.

She's no great shakes. I've seen better in the street any day of the week.

Alan just looks like a boring simpleton. I doubt there is much acting going on when he plays Tyrone.

I don't find her attractive in the slightest.

I disagree. He may not have the 'attributes' that she has, but he looked quite smart in some of the photos of them together. We don't know the reasons for their split, but they were together for 10 years so there must have been something that attracted them both.

Incidentally this is not a SOR so we should not be discussing it on this thread.

They are actually married and have a daughter. I always thought she was a bit odd looking

Me neither mate there's far more attractive women about everywhere. Whenever I've seen Alan Halsall on the TV away from Coronation Street he has come across to me as a very nice individual, obviously I don't know or want to know what's happened between them but I have a few guesses.
