But it's not fake - it's her natural laugh and that's why you've seen her do it on other shows as herself. Just as Jimmy Carr's strange laugh is natural.
On Corrie or off she could still be faking it! Whether it's fake or natural, it's annoying. On Countdown, Carol Vorderman used to do some loud guffawing. That was annoying and it sounded fake! Maybe some of these people like Jimmy Carr, Carol Vorderman, this Eva woman and others in in showbiz have these stupid, exaggerated laughs just to draw attention to themselves. |

I can't remember the episodes in that much detail, I'm afraid.
If you include one night stands, then I think Maria would be the winner by a wide margin. Unless you count the delicious Yana, of course. ("I was on holiday for a week, and didn't have sex with anybody till the third night. If you don't count the laundrette"). I should think it's impossible to fix, though if you could measure the speed of the wheel, the initial speed of the ball, and the point on the wheel at which the ball is "fired", then you could compute the small region of the wheel in which the ball would finish. This has actually been done (and I've read a book about it) which is why casinos don't allow computers to be taken in. However, it would be unnecessary : a crooked employee could simply treat an accomplice's bet as though it were a winning one, and pay the accomplice. |

We were away over xmas so we caught up ( 8 episodes) in one night!
I couldn't believe how messy and random the storylines were. All the things I picked up on have been discussed here, yes I caught up on here too! ![]() One thing I don't think has been mentioned is the amount of visiting orders Rob sent out in such a short space of time. I don't know for sure but are inmates allowed so many visits and can they be set up within a matter of days? Surely not. |

Next Friday's show will have us all on the end of our seats when Carla further discovers Johnny is also the father of two other Connor family members yet to be named and admits he was prosecuted back in 1991 for "interfering" with sheep in a field.
Needless to say this sends Carla into further self-destruct mode and she ends up back at the casino drunk and attempting to shag every casino staff member she can lay her hands on. >>>>> http://bit.ly/1YYwuq8 <<<<< |

I love Eva's laugh, it is very natural and usually tries to cover it up because she has found something inapproprate amusing or ridiculous (like the script) Eva is a real old fashioned Corrie character like Irma Ogden/Barlow, she is my favourite and deserves a proper long term man and a couple of kids...you know, like normal people, like Judy and Gary Mallett had, before they killed Judy off even that was a better ending for a chacter than they seem to allow now...no disaster, no murder, something that does actually happen.

I've seen her laugh spontaneously and, if it was fake, she'd have had to concentrate on it, which she clearly didn't. Unfortunate if you find it annoying - perhaps you could tweet her and suggest she puts on a fake laugh that you'd find more acceptable. |

Not sure if this has been covered before, but didn't Cathy have money problems and have the bailiffs at her house ?? Whatever happened about that ? She now seems to have moved in with Roy and has a 'spare' house

http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...&postcount=375 This post makes some good points about Eva. She has always had great potential. But Corrie just use her like ditzy, blonde bimbo they can stick behind the bar in the Rovers. Sometimes she looks absolutely stunning but at other times when she gets arsey, she looks like Lily Savage. And that faux fur coat! We don't need another Bet Lynch. I can see her as the poster suggests; settling down and having a real life instead of being yet another Rovers' bimbo. How many do Corrie need? If Eva was made more of an endearing character, then the laugh would be more endearing too. |

Emily left in an outfit more suitable for going to church than Peru! What a daft storyline, if she is only taking time off why not just exclude her from storylines for a while, this is done with others. Where is Maria (the character) I know she is on maternity leave, but not given a stupid storyline. Oh dear Corrie, you are going from bad to worse.

Also on that, why when someone spends the night do we always have to see them coming out of the bedroom or walking down stairs either partly dressed or doing up buttons.. |

I think Maria is looking after a sick relative, which is the usual temporary exit story. (Her mum, in Cyprus, or Malta?) Ken did this (Canada, sick son), Fizz too (Birmingham, sick mum) and I'm sure it's been done a few times before. Perhaps Spider could have become sick whilst in Peru, and Emily could have gone to look after him in Slough, or Wetwang or any number of places unreachable from Weatherfield. Heck, she could even have gone to look after him in Peru!

Not ridiculous. You accused someone you don't know of putting on a fake laugh when there's clear evidence (i.e.when she's been spontaneous elsewhere) that it's her natural laugh. Fair enough if you don't like it, but having a go at someone and accusing them of being fake because of something they do naturally isn't OK.
You're commenting on Catherine Tyldesley, not the character Eva. My post said it could be fake or real. The point being that just because someone has the same laugh in real life doesn't necessarily make it real, it could still be fake. I gave Carol Vorderman as an example. So I haven't 'accused' Catherine Tyldesley of anything. Even if I had it's not an issue. DS is full of threads making comments about celebs. If you had read the rest of my post you would have seen that I agreed with another poster and would love to see Eva's character developed and conceded that the mad laugh might well go with the character. For someone who doesn't like personal comments made about people, it certainly didn't stop you making some sarcastic and rude comments directed at me in your first reply. Quote:
Janet43 Wonder if your laugh (natural or fake) is annoying. Or perhaps you don't laugh. Janet, I've explained my posts to you and pointed out that you are doing much the same to me in your replies as you were accusing me of doing! But please realise this was just a series of comments on a mostly fun forum. So there's really no need for such confrontations and accusations in your replies. I've seen her laugh spontaneously and, if it was fake, she'd have had to concentrate on it, which she clearly didn't. Unfortunate if you find it annoying - perhaps you could tweet her and suggest she puts on a fake laugh that you'd find more acceptable.

Yeah I thought that too. That smart winter coat and hat weren't exactly the most comfortable or practical things to take on a long haul flight either. You think Billy, in between showing her stuff on the iPad, would have advised her to get some more casual clothes.

Maybe they can do a spin-off 'The Peruvian Adventures Of Emily Bishop'
