Also - just what kind of paint were the children playing with that's unremovable from doors & appliances? Surely not gloss paint??? but even that is removable. Really silly s/l.
It was spray paint as Max had the foresight to wear a mask (what made him think to do that God only knows) but Lily wasn't wearing one.

........... Daft storyline, would've made more sense if she had said she had been with this guy when she was 18 or something, or after Dean was killed, whatever age she was then?
Dean was killed in 2001, making her 24 or 25.

I think the writers have forgotten Michelle's past and Ryalex or whatever her kid is are called and are just shoehorning it in to make sense, which it does not given her age

as said would have made more sense for him to be somebody she knew after Dean's death, bearing in mind she'd be 24 when he died
That would I have made much more sense - i don't know why they didn't write in that she dated this guy between Dean's death & her moving to coronation st. There must have been a few years in between so its not implausible that she may have had a fling during that time whereas the current story makes no sense. Dean was supposedly "the live of her life" and she was only 14/15 when she got pregnant so either she's been fibbing & had an affair with this guy at the same time or she went out with him when she was only 13. In which case it could hardly have been a serious relationship; especially if only a year later she was knocked up by the wonderful Dean.

All I want to know is what is happening to poor Nick, wont be seen in the Bistro, wont be with Carla so how will he feature?
According to my sources Nick gets a job in the knicker factory packing department, falls in love Kirk and they set up a lovenest over Audrey's hairdressers.

After Monday's abysmally muddled episodes I wasn't sure of the time of day or whether or not Wetherfield has Bank Holidays or is even part of the same universe I reside in.

Carla was 'giving the factreh a swerve', so presumably some were working.

Tracy and Todd were inexlicably 'working' in the florists for all of 30 seconds then were at the Bistro where the total workforce was except for notgavin who had gone to a stag do?!?!?

Mrs Nazir was conducting a very weird Easter egg hunt at the community centre. I think the only point of that was to remind us that it was indeed Easter because there was no warmth, humour or point to the couple of minutes of the scene.

Streetcars was business as usual with the dreadful PP following Eileen about.

Michelle returned from a short trip to see Steve and we had to be reminded that she is very much in demand as a hot business woman and was needed at Street Cars (never been seen in the place), had to look at the Rovers accounts and of course her fabulously successful Wedding Planning Business (all on Bank Holiday). No idea of the timeline but the poor woman who has entrusted her nuptials to Michelle arrived at the pub pretty soon after the phone call and was offered coffee, so presumably the Rovers wasn't officially open .. or was it ? The door was open.

Why was David in the kebab place on a Bank Holiday morning?

Why is Gemma even in the programme?

As has been said earlier, the new Bistro sign was an insult to the intelligence of the audience and whoever wrote that pile of shite should be hauled over the coals and the firing finger pointed.

Just another typical show then.

Did we see a new sign? I know we saw the old one being taken down.

What's it going to be called now? Presumably Robert's Bistro...

Michelle seems to have a had a number of full on relationships before she was 16. It sounds like she was the school bike.
Spent more time behind the school bike shed than in lessons?

Going on previous form - 'Barlow's Buys', 'Preston's Petals' - I imagine it would very imaginatively be 'Barlow's Bistro'. After all Tracy named her flower shop after Robert so would expect him to name his restaurant after her, especially as he'd told her not to interfere and it was his business, not hers but she still wants to be able to lord it over everyone.

Robert did say he wasn't going to change the name of the Bistro and he quite rightly told Tracy their business interests would be kept separate from their personal relationship, all I'm going to say is good luck to him with that.

Why did Liz put on a posh accent when she was speaking to Michelle's bride to be Saskia? I don't think I've ever heard her do that before - she seems to think her normal dulcet tones are good enough for anyone. What's so special about Saskia?

Especially as Saskia didn't seem that posh herself.

Since the florist is "Preston" ... something, why not "Preston's - A New Branch"?

Now that's funny.

Except it would tie it in with Tracy's business and Robert wants to keep them separate.

I expect Carla will reveal to Robert that Tracy knows about their night at the hotel and the blackmail for the £10k it will be interesting to see his reaction to that, he already seems to be getting fed up with the way Tracy has been behaving.

Robert might go into partnership with Tyrone and call it Bob's & Dobbs.

Oh god that is sooooo poor.

I know the right end of a screwdriver, but now that we both have trouble opening a carton of milk we don't use screwdrivers any more.

More importantly, why don't they ever get quotes from anyone else, but just employ Jason? They're all so trusting that he could be ripping them all off. But then the only place we see anyone pay for anything is in Dev's shop.
To be fair that's gone on in Corrie since the start with different people.

I may have missed something in the celebratory dialogue at the Bistro when they were toasting Robert, and I really can't be bothered to watch again, but is the deal 100% done? Is there still something required from the solicitors (who shouldn't have been unavailable on Monday). If that's the case it could be possible that it will be stopped, or maybe I just dreamed everything, because Monday didn't make sense anyway.

The deal seemed to progress with Corrie's usual lighning fast speed and witn Corrie's usual complete lack of legal intervention.

.
The scriptwriters are breaking one of the golden rules. Gemma has worked in the street for the best end of week and she is still hasn't moved in with a local resident or into one of the spare flats.
