I think she may have met him but not been told he and Michelle knew each other.

And don't get me started on the mad camerawork which started at the beginning of the ep at ground level and then in Izzy's scenes went completely nuts. That was clearly artistic brilliance.

Oh, and then there was Sally in bossy boots mode. How clever of Sharif to use Sally's campaign board to patch up the fence and knock a nail right between Sally's eyes. Hilarious stuff.

If it was real life there would have been fag ends, mouldy kebab, and dog dirt inbetween the cobbles.

Yes, in London there are schools that have returned after Easter Monday, to break up again for two weeks on Friday.

I think it maybe due to an 'early' Easter.

Why didn't Anna smell the cannabis when she came through the door? I'm guessing it was skunk (the more potent one) so theoretically she would have smelt it before she even got through the main front door. It wasn't until she spotted the paraphernalia lying around that she realised that Izzy had been smoking in the first place

Herbal or resin. I had two cases of it when I operated a drug dog.

Maybe she thought Izzy had overdone the baked beans?

it is. from my own experience the easter break can vary between two weeks before the easter weekend, if it's a late easter, mid april, a week either side of the easter weekend, or two weeks after the easter weekend.

I think the teachers are trying to get a fixed easter holiday irrespective of when easter is in order to balance their spring term either side of the feb half term break

so yes some schools back, whilst other on easter holiday, where I am the break up friday

When Robert was telling Steph and Zeedan why were other staff not there. They must be more than two kitchen staff and couple other waiters.

Anna's not Izzy mum so why was she annoyed that she hadn't been phoned rather than Gary. And why did Garry just let her take custody without even replying. Nonsense storyline from Anna especially when she was the roughest mother in wetherfiled when they joined.

Does cannabis smell then? If I smelt it, I wouldn't know what it is.

I must lead a very sheltered life because I don't know where I would be able to obtain any drugs, and don't know who to ask, who might know.

And it would be much better in my opinion, gritty realism is what has always driven the show. I'd love to get my hands on it and restore that.

Yes cannabis smells and yes you have led a very sheltered life if you don't know at least one person who could introduce you to a drug dealer.

Carla, believe it or not you have legs!!! Do you know what you can do with them? You can walk away from Tracy to avoid talking to her, it's not hard.

Why does Izzy has such an old phone? Of course Gary didn't have his phone on him because that just wouldn't fit the plot. Izzy was absolutely hilarious when high, nice research into the effects of cannabis there corrie writers, it didn't even smell apparently.

It amazed me that she was smoking it in the house to be honest. Even with the back door open it would stink the place out.

Why didn't will (michelle's ex) ask the obvious question : "How are Dean and the baby, and why are you now married to a steve?"

There's no suggestion either of them moved schools, so he must have known about michelle's (concurrent?) relationship, the pregnancy and the birth. You'd think he'd be curious.

Some of it smells awful. like the worst wind in the world mixed with dead rats and sticks to furniture and clothing.
Anna would have been reeling.

Both of them were out walking before breakfast
??? Why?
I know Carla said that she was off to make Nick breakfast but why was Tracy out?
Makes no sense.

I wouldn't know about obtaining drugs either (and I'm not interested in changing that) but yes, cannabis has a very strong, lingering smell. I was in Game the other day and I could smell it on some teenage boys that were browsing nearby. I hate the smell (and of cigarettes) so you're not missing out on anything.

-------------------

I have a chronic pain condition too, so I should be interested in Izzy's storyline and be sympathizing with her, but instead the whole thing is just ridiculous. I know that medication really doesn't help much at all, but she should be going back to her doctor at least so they can monitor the progression of her condition. They could also maybe offer some kind of therapy or refer her to a pain management clinic. I don't think I've ever seen Izzy take or mention any medication or go to a GP/specialist appointment.

Bloody hell, Fishwife Anna acting as welfare officer.

Shame she doesn't act like this when problems arise closer to home (ie: Faye/Miley)

I was thinking this too actually, especially when they made a point of showing an extra working in the bistro in the last episode.
And what about Robert's mute kitchen assistant chef? Or I guess she was replaced by Zeedan.
