how likely is anybody in their 40s to meet their first crush as a teen and fancy them again
When that someone turns out to be Kym Marsh...........very high I think !

It's all set up for the first time Michelle and smiley bloke lock lips and Steve will walk through the door at that precise moment and catch them. Easy this writing a soap lark isn't it!!

In our house everytime something like this happens somebody shouts out "chance meeting". It is usually when people are slating somebody behind their back and that person happens to walk in at the precise moment, how many times does that happen in real life? Or if somebody comes out of a dead end to interact with somebody and then goes back into the dead end once the scene is finished. There are several of these chance meetings in each episode most of which are totally unrealistic.

Paedophillic is the wrong word, that applies to pre-pubescent only which 14 year olds aren't.

Just caught up with Wednesday's Corrie and Michelle looked hot! It's no wonder Will is so attracted.

Oi!

Carla was the skank. Or so Corrie keep telling us. They never diss Michelle in the same way. Therefore we have to assume Michelle was fragrant and her loves were pure and simple. (Geddit?)

Will - was her first love. Awww. Dean - was the love of her life. Awww. Corrie have given us these very sweet and very romantic images of the 14/15 year old Michelle and her lovers. Awww.

There's nothing tramp-like about those sentiments! For some reason Corrie want the viewers to buy into the past of a young, darling Michelle and a young, skanky Carla. Very odd.
Didn't Michelle have Ryan at 14/15, and was with his father for some time until he died? So she must have been with Will when she was 13? They can't expect us to take her and Will seriously when they were that young, surely?

that's what i'm saying, they have done this Will story without any background check on michelle's past and the fact she was already under aged when she had ryan she cannot feasibly have had any relationship prior to that.

Perhaps she will say 'I can explain!'

We have complained on here in the past about some storylines relying on eavesdropping and overhearing, but now it happens all the time. Along with deadly rivals who appear on the street or open their doors at the same time, such as Tracy and Carla, or Chesney when Ryan was with Katie. Such weak, unoriginal writing and plotting.

Since we haven't seen Michelle running three businesses and she has said bugg3r all about being overworked and her being annoyed at Steve - Corrie can't expect us to take her seriously now the topics are raised to fit this SL.

Do they really care? Although they always seem to go to great lengths to tell us that Will was her first love and Ryan was the love of her life. There's nothing tawdry and sleazy about Michelle Connor. As someone else said why couldn't Will have been after Dean?

Will she bother? Everything is always Steve's fault anyway!

The eavesdroppers only appear to hear the last words but always seem to know the whole story!

Really? Isn't ic a suffix? Also puberty happens at different ages. You can't really say that all 14 year olds have reached puberty.

Well we know that Michelle had because she gave birth soon after!
Even so, there is something creepy about this storyline.

Don't forget those '50 extra guests' his wife has added.....
Maybe a large area will suddenly appear in front of t'bistro and it will be filled with table & chairs for the extra 50 - who, for whatever reason, don't turn up, saving on paying for all those extras

Like Luke suddenly passing by as Beth is being bullied.

Mind you, I have had so many chance meetings in my life it's too weird for words.

And Will's front door just happens to be big enough to get her cleavage through.

I can't see how a new Freshco will affect the Kabin. Ken's hardly going to go all that way for his Manchester Guardian.

Oh no!!! Michelle has her legs and tits out tonight. There'll be lots of crutch-holding frustrated numpties and their 'I would' comments now!

But I have to say, apart from letting it all hang out, Michelle looked very nice. Her hair is in very good condition and it looks great with some curl in it. In comparison, Carla's looked full of split ends. Michelle also has lovely creamy skin. Mind you, she could hardly walk in those shoes!

Isn't Saskia meant to be really posh? What was Will said about her at the beginning? A bistro in a backstreet would hardly be good enough.

Luke turned up purposely to collect Beth.

Will's front door was enormous wasn't it? And we all know what the say about men with massive front doors........

Oh and that was a big bouquet Will sent but the flowers were horrible.

No, and frankly her 'marriage' to Steve is a farce. They constantly moan about never being together, she acts as if he's holding her back and is a good-for-nothing oaf.

Why couldn't she go to Spain for her 40th and join Steve? Why must she stay in Weatherfield, what exactly is holding her back? She does f all, but pull pints............wedding planning business, Sean could take over for a couple of days. Amy....Liz can handle her. Streetcars..........they can manage.

I would love to go abroad for my birthday and enjoy a retreat.

I dunno, they are both pretty good looking people, who were 14 in 1990 so I'm thinking shell suits and crap hair . That side of it is believable I think. And besides, have you seen who Michelle is married to?

Strelizias are horribly expensive. Used to work with flowers, we only put about 3 strelizias in a bouquet, all those on there own was just overkill.

Michelle being so brazen she leads a man to a bedroom in a house she's not familiar with.

Phelan managing to cause all that mess and disruption to the Community Centre apparently in near silence as nobody walking past could hear it.
