Will has a fabulous house and car, are we really supposed to believe they would choose a back street pub based wedding planner?

Also agree about the Community Centre break in which no one heard. He managed to do a lot of (noisy) damage in a short time and would it be worth getting caught and arrested just to halt a meeting?

Yes, I thought that. Our house is pretty big (two knocked into one,) and we frequently miss a loud bell.

Isn't Saskia meant to be really posh? What was Will said about her at the beginning? A bistro in a backstreet would hardly be good enough.

Luke turned up purposely to collect Beth.

Will's front door was enormous wasn't it? And we all know what the say about men with massive front doors........

Oh and that was a big bouquet Will sent but the flowers were horrible.

Lesbian stalker alert.................”

No, no, no, the Bistro are simply doing the catering in their 21st C kitchen by their Michelin starred chefs. The empty room with the piped music and pinky walls is the actual venue

Arrrghh, please no more of this!

She does f all, but pull pints............wedding planning business, Sean could take over for a couple of days. Amy....Liz can handle her. Streetcars..........they can manage.

I've often wondered this. If one partner in a relationship has to be offscreen for a prolonged period of time, it would make much more sense for both to go somewhere together, but there again there maybe clauses in contracts to say they must have so much on screen time. After all, this is a job to the actors but it does result in ridiculous storylines for characters to depart, spend time with some ailing relative in places nobody else visits and returning to the street, all of which defy any logic or reason.

Then he has the brass neck to offer to fix it for "mates rates".

1. Is no-one really suspicious except for Todd?

2. Why couldn't they ask if they could use the factory or the cafe (they had the political campaign meeting there) as it was evening and just direct everyone there?

For how long can Phelan con everyone in the street? He has to have a shelf life.”

I rarely see him prop up the bar in the pub, his liver and kidneys must be in far better condition than most of the residents on the street. In my opinion his shelf life will be longer than rita and Kens. Offering to repair the community centre at a financial loss is the action of a contrite heart. He is about the only one around that is thinking of the children. He really loves Anna and can see him forgive and take her back to his bosom providing she rises to the standards he demands. They are not too high, loyalty and kindness combined with a soft voice. No alcohol consumption before 9 am. because he wants Anna to be with him on the same shelf. I think you have Phelan all wrong. I don't know why, maybe it's Anna you should be mad at, she's the one who's going to steal him from you. The only way Anna will get the size ten out the door is if there's any fishwife behavior. I hope the last sentence brings some hope and is a comfort to you.

Spoiler
No. Liz stands back and with a smug look on her face, allows Saskia to give Michelle a good thrashing. Steve throws Michelle out and files for divorce. Michelle moves into Carla's place and gets her clipboard back at Underworld.

Dodgy or not Phelan should stay but from what I've read he probably won't.

And one with a bad attitude who really can't be arsed most of the time. And she has this terrible problem where all the blokes she deals with fancy her. So she has to put on a very short, low cut dress and massive high heels and go on a date with them!

He doesn't like want to actually marry Michelle or any such thing. It's called a bit on the side. He would drop Michelle like a hot potato after he got bored of trying to hide the fake tan and mascara covered sheets from Saskia (whose parents are probably loaded). If he had been that keen he'd have looked her up on Facebook and made contact years ago.
Will is not that sophisticated if he would think of leaving an expensive bottle of white sitting out in a heated room.

That wouldn't be practical. The one who is off screen 2/3 months plus is off on emergency sick leave. The on screen partner left behind would have to take all their annual leave and merge them together at short notice in order to coincide with their on screen partners unexpected leave.

So the one still on screen has to sacrifice their annual leave due to unforeseen circumstances.

Had to laugh at the caption for Kym Marsh:

"Kym Marsh (Michelle) was also looking less stressed than her character, who is currently up to no good. After exhausting scenes of late, we’re sure she was ready to let her hair down…"

Really?

And she could have dressed up a bit!

Bearing in mind Corrie's idea of an expensive bottle of plonk is Freshco's premium range

And, according to him, Saskia's dad is loaded and paying for everything. They would have chosen some exclusive stately home for the wedding and used their wedding planner and chefs.

To be honest, even if Saskia wasn't aware Michelle was operating from a backstreet pub when she first asked her to arrange the wedding, her first visit there would have made her change her mind.

At least the wedding planner business in Emmerdale has it's own office and Home Farm to call on as a venue.

I was struck by all of them looking quite casually dressed and wearing trainer type shoes - were they dressed for a quick getaway?

When a baby is "crying" it always looks and sounds fake. The playback tape is terrible. The real baby always looks calm.

The Gym is tiny, I've seen bigger ones in youth centres

I know its been mentioned but Phealen is just ridiculous now. Breaking into the community centre in broad daylight in the middle of the day opposite houses and businesses with people walking up and down the road, knowing anyone could walk in or see him at any time. Just to delay a meeting. Simply ludicrous.

From what we've seen recently, the kitchen is larger than the amount of space you'd expect to find under a railway arch. With too many doors, and a window looking out onto the brickwork. But still has daylight.

Isn't the wedding in a few weeks' time? I doubt whether any suitable venue would be available at that short a notice.

How did Steve get that straw donkey (the kind everybody in a soap, but nobody in real life, brings back) back from Spain? Loose as hold luggage, or as oversized hand baggage?

So the community centre is the venue for this big public meeting - organised by,,,, Sally.

Presumably the community centre is the only venue in the entire weatherfield area. Lucyk for Phelan that was the case, and that is directly opposite the "yard"
