Or indeed just back out the way she came and leave through the nearest door?

Stan was in Salford Royal Hospital when he wasnt well. Sadly he also died in there in real life.

The first part ended in daylight with Roy telling Nessa she couldn't go with him to Cathy's, the second part started with Nessa getting out of the car in the dark outside Cathy's. How long does it take to get from Roy's to Cathy's house?

Don't people just chuck rubbish in the recycling, rather than just casually setting fire to it? Such a contrived episode.

Why did Roy and Cathy come back in a cab? They must have been back to her house as she commented on the state of the living room and surely they'd check the house was secure - so wouldn't Roy have collected his car from there?

I fear it's the botox responsible.

Yet another Corrie balls-up.

Probably. How do actors think they can possibly act with a face full of botox? Carla has been very good in some SLs but botox and the hard, nonchalant couldn't give a fe ck attitude have now completely taken over. However, I really hope Alison King gets some decent roles after being wrung dry by Corrie. She certainly deserves it.

We spotted the customer leaving Audrey's salon, who had her hair in a pony-tail. I'm a balding bloke, and even I thought that there's no way that someone with their hair like this has just had it done!

Roy and Cathy is annoying me a bit at the moment. I'm sure that they have not telegraphed them being an item at all, rather that she was just staying with him as a friend, and yet now he's saying he loves her. Now I'm not saying he can't love her, but we've not been really shown this side of their relationship, plus I still think that Roy has always been portrayed as one of life's singletons, who if he hadn't met Hayley, would have stayed happily on his own forever. Roy and Hayley worked as an "oddball" couple, but Roy and Cathy don't (In my humble opinion. Other opinions are available)

It is possible she had only gone in to make an appointment, get her nails done, or just her fringe, or for the dye test you have before a colouring. (unless Audrey was shown doing something and I dozed off?)

Yes! I said that to my OH.

Glad someone else noticed it.

True! Might even have been fixing the plumbing or something, but just looked wrong, though I'll have to concede this one!

Or it could be that Audrey fancies her boyfriend and did the hair nobbling trick again?

Did someone say this week that Leanne's in America, or did I mishear it? If she is, when and why did that happen, and where's the curly demon?

On the subject of children, where were Aldi and Asda supposed to be when Mary and the smooth talker went skipping upstairs?

I noticed that straight away. Why didn't Roy over-ride the script, (as I believe he does from time to time)?

Me too. I did a double take when she said at the door of the cafe, "We're finished, Roy!" I had never realised that they had started anything! Thought it was strictly platonic.

Yes, me too. Was there any hint at all that they shared a bed.

Roy and Kathy had started a relationship when they exchanged a kiss on a daytrip Brighton a few months back, from what I can remember.
I like Kathy she's a very realistic actor.

Could just have meant their friendship is finished. Said that to a once friend of many years when I found out she'd stolen something from me and hoped I wouldn't notice.

Eva told Aidan that she and Leanne were half-sisters and Aidan asked where their mother (Stella) was at the moment, the answer to which was America

I know!

And whilst Bev Callard's daughter is quite pretty and talented, and I can see why she would be a popular actress without a famous mother; there is no way Poppy Rush would be an actress without her mother being famous!

All this nepotism does my head in actually. How the hell is someone with no relatives in the industry meant to make it?!

And Johnny just deciding to kip at a friend's (who lives nearby..........) so the drama blows over, please. He'll be back, there will be another revelation and the Connors will just get even more worked up.

I utterly LOATHE the Connors and all these stupid storylines. And Carla referring to wotshername (who prefers women to men!) as 'you only acted like a little sister' Stupid wishy washy soppy shyte! I watch Jeremy Kyle sometimes, I KNOW that carla would not be welcomed into the family in this manner!

I hate Carla now. I used to like the character, when she was with Peter Barlow, but now I loathe her.

I agree! And why could Cathy not get out of that flat on her own?! Anyone could have got out of there! How stupid!

Exactly! No WAY would Cathy have had those letters!

Blackpool.
The character has grown on me now.

The exact same thing happened to me, Janet, and I said the same, meaning the friendship.
When Roy and Cathy kissed on the bus they said something about taking it slowly, I think? So i imagined them in separate rooms.
