Belligerence, I agree with most of your comments, but the actress who plays Sinead, ie Katie McGlynn, was a stand out actress in Waterloo Road

So , maybe the writers should give her more to do, than um and er

She was, and so was Melanie Hill on the Syndicate!

Sinead was a free-spirited, quirky lass when she joined. Since she moved in with Chesney she's had next-to-no storylines.....wouldn't even have guessed she was paralysed last year!

Sinead was as you say a free-spirited, quirky person when she started in Corrie. Now she's been Chesney-fied into a dull person so that she fits in with him and the rest of the Brown-Stape-Dobbs family in Corrie. They couldn't have a bright, sparky pretty girl living with that family could they? If Corrie let her, she could be the equivalent of Marilyn Munster!

Perhaps a mischievous spirit put it there. Spooky!

Blimey, does one issue of Moxy really cost £5?!!
I'm with Ty on this one...that is crazy expensive for one trash mag.

Was it me imagining things but when Sinead was talking to Ty st the hospital saying if he needed to chat etc...did her voice sound quite normal? Still a northern accent but without the ridiculous put on 'manc' affectations?

I can buy the whole quota of TaB style mags for about the same...

Is Moxy supposed to be the trashy 'my husband got my sister pregnant while I was on life support' type mag, or the glossy OK/Hello type?

Did Roy give Tyrone his pound back from the vending machine or did he pocket it, that's the question?

If Tony cleaned out the bank account, how is Tracey financing the makeover in the shop?

Presume she sold the stock from the shop to raise all of £250 to do a massive shop re-furb and buy a load of stock. The shop will probably do remarkably well and be supplying flowers to a chain of 5 Star hotels within about a week.

If Anna's date with Kevin was at 8pm, why was she all dressed up and ready to go at tea-time?

I agree about Katie McGlynn and Melanie Hill. Two good actress who have put out some great performances in other stuff. But their characters Sinead and Cathy just dont work for me. Coincidentally I thought both of them had potential when they were first introduced but it just hasnt appeared.

hopefully everything will be better when the new exec comes in.

when nick offered to take carla away from the flat, i assumed he meant somewhere on a break and not a quick walk by a canal!

it says a lot when the most exciting thing is someone guessing the name of a shop...

Did I hear right that Zeedan is going to do the food for the wedding? He has only worked there about two weeks and has no previous experience in a kitchen. No need to go to catering college when you can join the Bistro and be qualified in a matter of days.

My thoughts exactly. He said "let's get away from it all"....

I thought mini-break somewhere....not, like you say, a stroll in the pitch black down by the canal

I know. Faye is well capable of looking after herself in fairness. Could Anna not have said at 6.30pm will you walk over to Sally and your Dad now please? But Anna had to drop Faye over to them like she was a 4yr old.
Just so they could all oh and ah and wonder about her love life.
We'd have missed Sally's great scene if she hadn't though.
And where is Gary staying all this time or is he away somewhere??

Not watched it yet, but did he know he only had one sock when leaving?

Does that mean no one will be able to bring the flowers back or make any kind of complaint about them?

How long before someone goes into their local florist and gets the hump because said florist cannot find Weatherfield in their directory?

I thought that the canal was only used for disposing of bodies.

Corrie probably expect we are all eager with anticipation and bursting with excitement to find out the name of the new florists. Unfortunately, until I read this I had completely forgotten about it.

Anyway here's my inspired guess: Barlow's Blooms.

What does everyone else think? Have a guess.

What a bl00dy cheek.

Coronation Street only exists because we mugs keep watching. The idiots should be concentrating on how to get the prog back on track by improving EVERY aspect of the show. But instead they're too busy raking in the cash for advertising/product placement and crowing about it in the press.

And why when kitchen staff come on duty do they traipse through the bistro and behind the bar to get into the kitchen instead of using the staff entrance?
