Even more unbelievable is that she turned it down to go out with that no-mark Chesney.

"Fans were reduced to tears when Carla fled the cobbles in order to start a new life in Devon"

Yeah, right! [/quote]

I breathed a sigh of relief when Carla left, glad to see the back of her bad acting, "face blank and expressionless" and no more having to listen to her rough unfeminine voice

I find it hard to believe that just a few days after being hurled into the air by Carla's car, Cathy is home from hospital with just a few artfully applied grazes, being her usual perky self and seemingly untraumatised by the accident. Similarly Fiz is wobbling down the street, simpering and baby-voicing as normal, despite being in the passenger seat of Ty's truck as it planted itself in Gail's grannexe. I know us Northern women are made of stern stuff but even so...

I share your irritation Mr Meldrew. I go to a lot of trouble to avoid the spoilers. To me its hardly worth watching it if I know whats going to happen.
Its hardly worth watching at the moment anyway.

And unbelievable that she didnt smack him one! Was tonight the worst her voice has ever been? It is barely human now.

Me too. For the first time in absolutely ages I can watch an entire episode without my finger hovering over the mute button.

It looked like they were moving into Nick's flat, but according to ITV they move into Carla's empty flat.

They never did establish if they were selling both flats, or whether one or both flats had been sold. I was always confused as to whether we were seeing Nick and Carla in his flat or hers.

Sinead did say she was having a "bad hurr day". It appears she's also having a bad voice day

Did anyone notice that David said Jason was married to his sister - Sarah - and the police woman said the same when questioning Jason? I didn't think they were married, didn't Jason leg it out of the window just before the ceremony?

He did leg it but married Sarah later, 2007.

Really? I don't remember that at all, I was convinced they'd never married, thanks for the confirmation that I'm not going mad 😀

How many attempts did Johnny make at guessing Carla's password? Surely after 3 failed attempts it would lock him out (or whatever the correct terminology is?!)

Being the co-owners wouldn't they have the password anyway?

Yes it would.

I wasn't paying attention but why didn't Carla leave them her password or better still why not ring her and ask her what the password is?

They tried to phone her but she wouldn't answer.

And as to why she didn't leave them the password (which surely they would have anyway) I guess we wouldn't have gotten the "exciting" little subplot keeping us guessing what it maybe.

What was it anyway?

Do people really get reduced to tears? I mean I can understand being sad if an older character dies in a realistic manner and that character reminds you of someone, but I am trying to picture someone crying over Carla's crap exit, especially someone who has been completely unlikable and irritating.

#blessed. Apparently it was Carla and Michelle's catchphrase to each other. You know, the one we never heard either of them say, ever.

Thanks. And you are right, the amount of times they sat down with mugs moaning about their love life we never heard this being said.

I tend to roll my eyes when you have characters in fiction always guessing passwords, as if it is that easy.

What was that password rubbish all about? Why did they urgently need it? And if they left a message to Carla, she would respond. Not like she left on bad terms or anything.

Why have the Platts moved into Carla's place, just like that? And where was Bethany, surely she'd be with her mother at a time like this....unless she's busy revising.

Michelle faffing about and gassing........as usual! And no........rolling your eyes doesn't make you a comedy character.

Sinead making a fool of herself. What the hell has happened to her character? Started off so promisingly, always made a point of never touching alcohol, quirky and bright, and within a few years she's turned into an embarrassing, needy simpleton.

And when Gemma played around with Chesney in the kebab shop she just had to appear! I was half-expecting Chesney to walk in on Sinead drunkingly kissing her boss.

Korrie Kops back in action! They come looking for Jason, or rather Jason and his family go looking for them. And who would notice and go darting to the Rovers, but Sarah! And round t'corner...........Gemma turns up. Bloody hell...........contrived nonsense!!!!

Seriously, cannot wait until Blackburn ****s off and this Callum shite is over and done with.

Yes of course they would have it as there would be occasions when she would be on holiday and they would need to get access to it. It was a daft subplot.

Of course. How on earth did Johnny and Kate not immediately know it would have been that! So glad Michelle was able to save the day. What a truly wonderful person she is - Steve (and Johnny and Kate and Aiden) are so so lucky to have her!!!!!

I thought Gemma was going to the Dog and Gun straight after work. So what reason did she return to the street, apart from just happening to witness Jason going with the police and assuming that he must have done the deed, despite believing earlier on and even telling the police David had done it.

And Fiz spending time in the pub I see, despite being skint. She doesn't seem too bothered she was involved in an accident either, or that her new dress was ruined. Then again Cathy is very chirpy and getting about easily, despite being struck by a car two days ago.

^ This!

Plus, policewoman questioning David. David says "I didn't kill Callum", and she responds, as if she's trapped him "I didn't say you did"......

So, why the heck have you arrested him?! :slapsheadsmiley:

Sinead being drunk....

She was sat in the booth with Fiz and seemingly nice and sober, but gets to the bar and is slurring her words (more than usual!)
