No. The all new Mature Reformed Simon, teenager aged 13 and a half, says 'Well, Leanne, you supported me through a tough time, now I'll support you. Let's go to Liverpool' or some such.
What a load of. Really. What a great adventure awaits him in Liverpool. Sleeping on the floor of his step Aunt's bedsit, while trying to integrate himself in a new school, all the while waiting for pregnant Leanne's mood swings to dictate the direction in his life.
Will an obviously pregnant restaurant manager Leanne's age really walk into a plumb job in Liverpool....I don't flamin' think so! If she was that good she'd have sorted that recurring Olive problem before she left the Bistro.”

Especially since the only job offers/interviews she got in Weatherfield were at fast food places!

So Leanne's pregnant by a man she says she can't stand. Why did she let him in her flat and have sex with him then? She wasn't drunk when he arrived and he didn't stagger through the door. But to confuse matters even further, Leanne's in love with Nick and he's in love with her. How long is it since he married Carla? Ludicrous and it's only to suit the preggers by another bloke SL.

Then there's Michelle. What a horror she is. From one trip to then hospital with a pregnant Leanne she decides she wants a baby. Steve doesn't but gives in because she's pulling her face and having a big sulk. So she's full on and chasing Steve round because it's the right time. Did anyone else notice the way she acted in the cab office? she sidled up to Tim and leaned on his chair with her hand on her hip. When she left, Tim went pwoar. Another nod to just how fabulous and sexy she is and Steve's lucky to have her. Anyway, she's preggers in record time. How long ago is it since she decided she wanted a baby?

Eva. How does anyone put up with her? How many times do we have to see Aidan pulling his face? Why has Eva not picked up on his attitude? But then she's like Michelle, it's always all about her. Michelle and Eva always browbeat, berate and nag their men into getting what they want. Aidan and Steve are always made out to be in the wrong. And would someone please stop Aidan and Maria scowling at each other.

Does he always carry the football in case we didn't pick up the clues from his kit?

Way too much 'accidentally' bumping into people/overhearing conversations, seriously contrived
Leanne spent much of 1 episode when she said she was going to work doing just this !

And not forgetting the big vasectomy Steve story around 18 months ago because she absolutely did not ever ever want another child, especially after the whole baby mix up thing with her first born. ...again forgotten

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but it looks like the Nazirs took part in 60 Minute Makeover, only that can explain the sudden interior change.

Once the space is taken, no more can get on and a person will have to wait for another - sometimes not being able to get on three of four following buses.

The Supreme Court is currently hearing a case brought by a disabled man who couldn't get on a bus because a woman with a pushchair wouldn't move. They are considering a previous ruling that wheelchair users shouldn't get priority over pushchairs, i.e. one traveller can't have priority over another. IMO the difference is that a mother mostly chooses to have a baby and can usually fold a pushchair, carry the baby and sit in a normal seat; a disabled person doesn't choose to be disabled and can't fold his electric wheelchair and get out of it.”

It depends on the circumstances. Maybe there is more than one baby? Maybe the push chair has shopping on and you cant fold it with the shopping and carry babies and several bags to the seat?
Suppose there isn't a seat? Does someone who has paid a fare have to get off the bus for someone else?
Suppose you are not built like Geoff capes and cant manage to fold and lift the ludicrously heavy pushchair into the raised box that is sometimes provided?

Roy is too honest to serve dodgy food. Not sure about his 'girlfriend' though.

Just don't order the "hors de cheval" in the Bistro. Very dodgy!!

Yeah, but it's a "wheelchair" space not a buggy space, though it's OK for buggies to use it if a wheelchair user doesn't need it. Until 20 years ago there weren't low floor buses, so mothers had to fold buggies.

Where I live the pushchairs are mostly very lightweight pushed by teenagers who completely ignore the child in the pushchair because they're glued to their mobile phones and are going to meet their mates who have children too. The only shopping they do is in Primark.

And they get very stroppy and foul mouthed if the space is already occupied by someone in a wheelchair or mobility scooter and they can't get on and have to wait for another bus.

We probably have just about an equal number of the elderly/sick with mobility problems and teenagers with babies/young children in pushchairs, as well a school that has had to be revamped four times in 20 years because of it has had one of the lowest number of passes at GCSE in the country for some time, as well as two single sex schools with some of the highest. But the bus problem is a problem for both the pushchair pushers and the disabled.
