I'm sure this will have already been mentioned but how does a woman of 40 confuse being 5 days late with being in her "window of fertility"?

Poor research and scriptwriting.

As a matter of interest, how many pregnancies over the past 10 years of Corrie have actually produced a child who is still around and how many didn't?
Still on street

Ruby
Lily
Hope
Liam
Harry

Not on street

Erica x 1
Tracy x 2
Carla x 1
Maria x 1
Becky x 2?
Leanne x 1
Faye x 1

Any more to add?”

Sarah and Todd lost baby Billy.

I hope Leanne and Michelle don't have their babies. Babies are often forgotten about, and once they hit their teens they turn into obnoxious little shits.

Plus whatever conflict between Michelle and Leanne in response to it coming out will have to be swept under the carpet and forgotten as I can't see either of them leaving the show.

What with baby-switching, a banana skin, a set of stairs, and/or any number of other unfortunate events that are still a twinkle in a scriptwriter's eye, it don't bode well for the poor mite...”

When they rebuilt the street, did they leave any coal-holes in the pavement to slip down?

over-reliance on a phone app? Or as my dear old Geography master used to say "when all else fails, use common sense, if any"

Thanks I'd forgotten that. There's another one to add to the statistics.

Yes. It certainly would be very insensitive.

At least one of them will have their baby. If it wasn't for Kym Marsh having suffered a miscarriage in real life then I would have been betting on Michelle losing hers. My current theory is that Leanne suffers another miscarriage and, blaming Steve for it somehow, tells Michelle all just before she gives birth?

I know you said you declined gracefully, so that should be fine, but I would hate to think anybody might inadvertently make a kind hearted person feel foolish and rejected by declining their offer and therefore less likely to make the same offer to anyone else in the future.”

Actually, you could be right, I just hadn't looked at it that way. Next time I'll accept the kind offer. I'm lucky in that I can time my journeys so as to avoid rush hour, so the situation doesn't arise.

I started getting glared at from the age of 35 when I didn't give up a seat for an elderly or pregnant person.

What they didn't realise is that I am disabled but the disability is invisible.
I have a balance issue since a brain operation.

I am normally fine but on a moving bus / train etc, I am at risk.

Yes I didn't look at it that way either. Too busy worrying how to refuse a lady politely and graciously when she is no spring chicken herself.

Perhaps accepting politely but loudly might give a nudge to others for future occasions.....? Or would that be a SOR?

A friend held a door for young woman in M and S and got an unfair feminist lecture so he told her he would hold the door for anyone even Johnny Scrote, which of course she ungraciously refused to accept. A shame that unpleasantness occurs as result of good manners.

So Simon scrolls down his contacts on his mobile. He has Amy, Dad and then Nick. Surely he would have Mum in his contacts which would appear above Nick.

That scene with Bethany and the swing was awful. OTT laughing or what?

Big wedding anniversary party. Big plans from Sharif to take Yasmeen away. Then that woman arrived. The look on Sharif's face. What could be afoot? Are they even old enough to have been married for 45 years? Gotta a feeling Zeedan is not going to be please with the outcome.
Spoiler
'You knew?'

Michelle's pregnant and she's happy. There's a first. And we are lucky to be able share her joy. Aren't we?

At the beginning of the first ep Leanne and Eva were perfectly turned out - hair, make-up, clothes etc. Who the hell does that on a wet Monday morning? And does Eva have to have her knockers on show 24/7 even in bad weather?

well corry forgot that so we can let ourselves off for forgetting it as well

thought that was due to an infection, like baby billy as opposed to a miscarry

Bet Gilroy miscarried

It was an SOR for Sonia to announce that her husband had kicked her out in front of all the guests at the party. Wouldn't she have told Yasmeen and Sharif privately?

Re Leanne miscarriage theory, please no. How much turmoil can one character take?

Of course she'd turn up the minute Sharif announced their big holiday getaway.

Nick and Leanne back on for the 152th time...................yawn!!!! He was all implausibly loved up with Carla Quackers only a few months ago.

The Rovers is #blessed to be the home of Michelle Connor. She'll be doing f all for nine months then as a token of the house's appreciation.

in the real world that coach would have been half way towards the M62 whether Nick was on board or not. Like they'd all just sit there waiting

They split up originally over his brain damage, which of course is forgotten again. And once Nick and Leanne split up she wasted no time latching herself onto Kal.

Give it a year and Leanne will be falling for some other fella
Spoiler
(probably Peter)
and we'll be witnessing Nick grimacing and clutching his head as his brain damage returns and he'll be on the warpath for revenge. We'll get more Bistro drama as they battle over control and Steph will be standing there looking sour faced as usual and sticking her nose in.
