Isn't it law now though - that kids have to stay at school until they're 18? So if Bethany has failed and is doing re-sits - she still faces another 2 years at a school establishment of some sort. She still faces that bully (directly or indirectly) for another 2 years.

Would they please stop the predictable walking-in-when-somebody-says-something they won't-like-hearing? That's the second time this week sean's walked into the cafe, without any apparent purpose.

And the just-passing-while-a-be -jealous-event-happens.

Perhaps they'd like to get the clock in the cafe repaired. It's as though they don't want the viewer to know what time of day it is.

As in what time was it supposed to be when Caz had to catch her bus to a job interview, while maria and luke were on their way to a fancy dress do.

Maria was ready for the awards dinner and in the Rovers very early!

And could David have really cut that girl's hair off in one snip?!

But just to wind me up the dinner had to in Hale and then 'up in 'Cheshire'.

Hale has been in Greater Manchester for over 40 years before most of the cast were born.

Maria said she was going to put Caz's shirt on the radiator to dry. Would she really have her radiators on at the beginning of September?

At least it wasn't at the Bistro

She could still do her resits along with a course in college. I think Craig has mentioned going to college rather than sixth form in the past, so she'd know him if she went. Unless she has a burning passion for A Levels.

In fact, there might still be time for her to switch to college if she wanted to. If I remember rightly, they usually give a week or two for students to see if they want to do something different. She could even do a hairdressing course if she's going to end up working at the salon.

I don't know if this has been asked before (sorry if it has), but would the police really give someone back a hoodie that's covered in their dead wife's blood? It's not like it can be salvaged, it just seems like a brutal souvenir of a loved one's murder. I mean, it doesn't seem like they've given back Kylie's blood soaked clothing, so why David back his hoodie.

Best bit in a soap for ages. As for the salon being up for an award, what a joke.
Why do people in soaps only ever look for jobs or flats to rent in the local paper? Have they not heard of the internet.

Why on Earth would she need to go through the bother of that when sweeping up in the salon for a few episodes will ensure she'll be qualified to (pretend to) run a comb over a clients hair by the end of September

Gemma-low life scummy druggy and most hateful character to key holder of business in a few short weeks - all under Dev's guru type tutelage. And some people are actually pondering on why 'some bits in soaps' are not 'true to life'. (In other threads) Where to begin? Where have they been? God help us.

There was a shot of the Street last night in which four vehicles were actually shown parked n the street. One or possibly two were private vehicles the others commercial vehicles but it looked strange to see 'so many'. It this because no one in the street needs their own transport to get to work because they all live in or across the road from their workplaces.

As the internet it hardly exists in CS except for the odd episode of people like Norris or Rita doing something out of character for a story line.

So all these cars I see parked up everywhere or in traffic jams going to work and so many people especially the young who spend their lives on the internet are figments of my imagination (posters on here excluded)

The law for England is:

You can leave school on the last Friday in June if you’ll be 16 by the end of the summer holidays.

You must then do one of the following until you’re 18:

stay in full-time education, eg at a college
start an apprenticeship or traineeship
work or volunteer (for 20 hours or more a week) while in part-time education or training.

Different for Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. They cab leave at 16, the date depending on when that age is reached, and there doesn't appear to be compulsion to do anything until 18.

It's possible, but the heating shouldn't come on until late at night. Certainly not while it's broad daylight outside : which means before 7:30pm at the moment.

Even with the heating full on , it would've taken a heck of a long time to dry, as she didn't spin it, only wrung it through with her hands.

Regarding the salon, the other thing that got me was, apart from no other customers than Lauren, when David faked her appointment it was written in a book, not done on a computer, as everywhere else. I hope they didn't win the award, as not one of them could be arsed to show up!!
