I'd forgotten about Peter Barlow. I quite liked that SL.

Arnold - who married Emily got sent to an institution.
Peter Barlow - left Weatherfield.
Eve Elliott - married Fred left after discovered as bigamist.

Going on Corrie's history of bigamists it's not certain if Beth will get sent to prison or face any consequences whatsoever.

Aidan and his shirt buttons are a worry. He's a Connor and a top businessman and he can't even dress himself properly!”

I remember Peter being arrested and charged with bigamy - he spent a long time in the Police Station and when he came back he said that the charges had been dropped because Peter was "clearly not doing it for financial gain"

I remember most of the things that Peter said and did - I miss Peter!

Poor Fiz, that's all she needs is another mouth to feed and it consumes a lot, the type of sandwiche Anna made for Faye recently. It will take a large amout of oven grease to put between those two slices. Fiz will have to cut back on Erps and Roobey's rations. Those two tots are going to be sick again just in time for another Christmas tear jerker. That's the downside, the upside is her oven, it will be clean as a whistle by then. There was no need for Ty to discuss it with Fiz, he knows shes not the type to complain. Where do we find such women.

There is never any real consequences for characters. Same with Maria marrying that bloke abroad, never mentioned again.

Beth is now one of many 'delightful' factory workers who have committed a crime, and yet the characters keep bringing up Jenny Bradley's past mistakes and mental breakdown.

Isn't this the second year in a row Simon has missed the start of school due to going one holiday?

Also, at one point were Steph, Andy, Michael and Luke all living in the same flat? How many rooms does it have, and if it has enough enough rooms to accommodate them all, why are Steph and Andy living in a flat with at least one, if not two, spare rooms, and then complained when the rent increases?

If Fiz and Ty are still in debt, why did Fiz decide to strike and watch a movie at work which cost her double time? Also, Izzy was desperate to keep her job, and was lucky to keep it, and yet slacks off and strikes.

Apologies if this has been discussed before but Kate's attitude to Caz seems to be a bit over the top. Have a missed something or is she this angry just because Caz said she was on sick leave when really she has been fighting? Caz was obviously possessive of her, but this didn't seem to annoy Kate when it was happening, only after she found out she lied about the fight.

I couldn't remember. I looked on Corriepedia or summat similar.

As Ty was inviting Craig to stay, you could almost hear Fiz whinging about money and the girls.

Noticeably when main characters break the law.

It has and you are right. Such venom and spite for such a small misdemeanor. Caz lied about having an injury to her foot. Ridiculous.

We heard Nick on the phone, to Ken I'm pretty sure, making arrangements for Simon to stay there while they were away, so I think Nick and Leanne have gone off together without him.

It was the other way round with Fiz, wasn't it. She watched the film with the others, whilst on double time, and it was only because they were found out that she had to join the ridiculous 'strike'. Hers and Tyrone's debts seem to be a storyline that's just fizzled out (sorry!) but I suppose we are meant to assume they aren't desperately short of money anymore. Tyrone did say he wasn't doing the scrap metal collecting now which seems to suggest they don't need the money from it, such as it was, and he's driving taxis now for Streetcars as well as his day job.

I want to know who's doing the cleaning now.

There doesn't seem to be any real explanation for her to be so nasty: her reaction is really out of proportion to Caz's deception.

But I can't quite see what's going on with Caz. She was threatening to Sophie at one point, then pleading with her not to pinch Kate off her, and she arranged the false burglary to stay at Maria's but then ran away when she thought she was being laughed at. None of it is consistent - or realistic imo.

Is it just a coincidence that Craig's rat is called Daryl ( Craig's dad's name.?

More a coincidence that the writers decided to name Craig's dad Darryl after the rat.

I believe he made a comment last week when he was talking to the rat that his mam (Beth) had told him to name the rat Daryl after his dad and now Craig could see why when it turned out he was in prison

Thanks dobbybear, I must have missed Craig talking to Daryl (rat) about his dad.

Next 'great' plot twist. There have been more than one Darryl, but Beth keeps swapping the dead one for a new rat as to not upset her "Craigy". Craig will then wonder why he didn't realise how ridiculously long his pet rat has lived for all these years.

Well looked after rats can live longer but seeing as Craig and his rat first appeared in corrie in 2011 he needs to pop his clogs very soon to stay believable. We don't know how long Craig has the rat before coming to the street, I'm thinking it was still under a year old to make it plausible.

Did the elderly blonde (presumably a friend or relative of Sadie) just decide to pop into a backstreet restaurant, and sit at the bar having a drink?

Is Eileen totally stupid? How on earth could a tiny (two man) backstreet builder carry out a conversion on a building that size?

and if you did happen to see somebody you knew, recently widowed, out with a lady, would you stick our nib in and have a go? most people would be pleased to see them move on

I'm guessing she was a friend (as Sadie was black). Why would she decide to go out and sit by herself at the bar?

How long has it been since Sadie died? 6 months maybe more. Why is it any concern of hers that Freddie was out with a female friend. At least he wasn't a sadsack sitting by himself passing judgement on others

my mam married a family friend after my dad died and she got similar comments from her bitchy sisters.

sadly some people think they have the right to stand in judgement over people

Poor Roy having to listen to Anna whittle on about sharing a bed with Kevin. I loved when he said "is there a point to this story?" She really can't understand when to keep her nose out and let Roy grieve in peace. Of course Roy wouldn't feel right about Cathy moving into the marital bed he shared with Hayley, the place where she took her last breath, it's only natural. I still find Cathy to be completely mismatched with Roy, she and Anna are far too pushy with him, especially when she had the nerve to have a go at him for reporting Alex to the police for stealing his car. I hope their relationship troubles is spelling the path to Cathy leaving, even though Corrie have ruined far too many relationships this lately. (But one more can't hurt, right? )
