I still find Cathy to be completely mismatched with Roy, she and Anna are far too pushy with him, especially when she had the nerve to have a go at him for reporting Alex to the police for stealing his car. I hope their relationship troubles is spelling the path to Cathy leaving, even though Corrie have ruined far too many relationships this lately. (But one more can't hurt, right? )”

She needs to bugger off back to her forgotten house.

What will happen to Beth the bigamist? Will she go to jail? Didn't Fred Elliott and Emily Bishop also marry bigamists?

Poor myKirky and myCraigy.”

We know what will happen.

Butch Dingle will so happen to be coming to the end of his jail sentence and be released by the New Year.

He'll look for work on the street so that he can keep a close eye on Craigy......maybe at Kev's car place.

Beth will get all vexed, Kirky will act all suspicious....yawn!!

Yes but will there actually be any real repercussions for Beth the bigamist?!!

But Cathy and Roy are engaged. They make such a good couple and have great chemistry. It's like Hayley never existed.

I wish she would! Poor Roy being practically bullied into sharing a bedroom with her, when obviously he didn't want to. Getting rid of all Hayley's things, just so her nephew could have a bedroom, I mean did Roy even invite the pair of them to live there in the first place? Didn't she just move in temporarily, while her house was being tidied, next thing she invites Alex to stay there , did Roy even get a say in it?

Someone like Roy would never have been looking for another woman after Hayley died, he is a born loner, and would have lived quite happily on his own. Not like that Freddy guy, who I have to say isn't too bad looking for his age, and could have pulled someone a lot better than scraggy Audreh, who has now annoyingly started calling him Freddeh!

I bet he'll turn out to be Hybrid automobile techie and will start working in the garage. We see in every episode Kevin is snowed under with residents dropping of Hybrids and Harleys all day long. Kevin had the foresight to expand for occasions such as this. Is there no end to this horseshit. Hopefully not.

More chance of Janice and Cilla returning!

Haven't seen Fridays eppys.....I'm guessing our Beth will just get dragged into a police car with half the street watching. The factory girls gossip (Sinead protesting Auntie Beth's innocence), before she returns triumphantly in a matter of hours.

Killing off Butch will be the only route storyliners will take if they wanna forget about the whole thing.

Friday Episodes:

Greatest Ever Continuous SOR's:
Underworld
Nick's Bistro
Caz

I am usually lenient regarding timelines as the plot has to progress BUT

Eileen being taken to the new build site, returning, lots of chat in between, either side of that scene - Audrey & Freddy ate their starter and were waiting for the next course when .....

Random woman walked into the Bistro.

Who managed the Bistro whilst Leanne wasn't working there??? It seems only since she's been on holiday (and how long is she supposed to be away for) does the need for a relief Manager arise.

The disappearance of Kathy's lovely house.

Roy actually living with anyone else.

Anna sharing a bed with Kevin.

Surely the 3 of them would be far more comfortable moving into her house which looked like it was a three bed at least ... Poss four. Then Roy could rent the flat out giving him extra income.

I thought it was really weird that the officer who arrested Beth looked a lot like Butch Dingle dressed up as policeman.

Also, he used the "drama" caution which always tags "may be used in evidence AGAINST YOU". The caution doesn't actually say that but it's amazing how many TV shows still get it wrong.

Yes, that would be the sensible thing to do, but it will never happen. A main character like Roy would never be allowed to move away from the Street, that's just how it is nowadays, so many people have to be crammed into small flats and houses, just for the sake of keeping everyone on the Street.
Years ago there were quite a few characters lived away from the Street, and we often seen their houses, I can even remember when Gail, Brian and Nicky lived in a council estate out of town, that would never happen nowadays! This is what I loathe about Corrie now, everyone lives on everyone else's doorstep, just not true to life.

I couldn't agree more. This is what has bothered me from the outset with this storyline. When Roy first came into the programme he was never looking for love. His friendship with Hayley evolved and he realised that he loved her.

Right from the start, Cathy has just forced her way into his life. And then we had Alex forced in too. As people are saying why on earth are they all piled up in that tiny flat when she has a lovely house they could move into. If they need Roy to stay in the street could she not sell her home and she could buy something closer. I am sure they could all of a sudden find a house at the end of the street or somewhere close by. After all reality has never been an issue with Corrie. That way Roy could still be nearby and even rent his flat out to someone.

But I don't like the storyline at all. There is no chemistry between them and I always think Roy looks like he is thinking 'How the hell did I get into this and how do I get rid of them?'

Do you not think that finally finding love with Hayley might have changed Roy, and now he realises how much he likes being in a loving relationship?

No one moves out of the Street and stays in the show but a few do live away. Audrey lives in Grassmere Drive, mmm.
Freddie and Gemma both live away from the street, not sure if we know exactly where.

Billy of course lives in the Vicarage but come to the street to eat his breakfast at Roy's and knock back pints in the Rovers.

Phelan being arrested for fraud seems a massive SOR. He only got planning permission for the development that afternoon and no work has been done whatsoever. You cannot be arrested and charged for 'thinking' about committing fraud to the best of my knowledge.

I haven't seen Friday's EPs yet either as I am in that London and was at the theatre. Yes, the theatre. It's not just Sir Kenneth Barlow wot is serfistercated and cultcherd.

Will myKirky and myCraigy be bothered about what happens to her?

Was the woman in the Bistro who had a go at Freddie for not being indoors weeping and wailing over his late wife laying in wait for him? She was at the bar on her own, does she go there every night, I wonder, on the off chance he will be there with a woman, just to guilt trip him.

It was strange. She walked in on her own and I assumed she was there to meet someone, but after having a go at Freddie, she walked out! Bizaare.

Just one of those everso frequent chance meetings that seem to happen in Corrie and the other soaps too.

It's rather surprising that the vicarage in the Parish of Weatherfield is evidently set in a beautiful house in the countryside.
