Back to Friday's Corrie....

Why the hell was Freddie kissing Audrey's hand? Have they ever been that close before? Oh yes, the glammed up old boot came in just in time to see. That must be it!

And it happened all before the factory closed for the day!

So.....Alex wants 15K for the deposit on the apartment. Even if Cathy manages to find the money, just how does she think she's going find the remainder.
Daft!

How convenient that Todd left his phone in the pub, it rang and Sean answered it to find out who shopped them to the Bishop.

And there was no lock on it, so Billy could look at the log of previous calls.

He's going to secure a mortgage on his minimum wage couple of hours in the cafe earnings obviously.

Why is Cathy so desperate for him to even have that flat? If she wants him to live by himself why doesn't she suggest he move in to her old EMPTY house.

And why would he even think to ask Roy first? Thanks for letting me kip on your sofa, after I've only known you a few months ...... now can I have 15k?

And Cathy works with Anna day in day out. She would know at least some of Anna's history with Phelon and she trusts her enough to discuss her bedroom arrangements with her. Surely Cathy would take Anna's word over Eileen's.

but it's the laws of the weatherfield parallel universe that everybody trusts the baddie and ignores the warnings from people who know the baddie's past misdeeds

a lot of them know how phelan fleeced the windarses so in logical reality they would not give him the time of day

Do they not lock their cars? It would have only taken a quick press of the key fob.

You thought it.
I thought it.
We all thought it.
But Corrie...?
Apparently not.

We've never been told what happened to her house but he could live there. If she's meant to have sold it, where's the money? As you say why ask Roy? Bloody cheek.

Who's that bloke Cathy went to see? Nessa's ex and Alex's dad? Is he going to have a SL?

And as usual when there's any gay drama, every Corrie homosexual's BFF Eva had to be there sticking her beak in and with her gob open in shock stock expression.

What ever is wrong with Aiden? There he is at the bar looking at drawings when the luscious Eva is leaning across to him showing off her lovely blueprints.
He doesn't deserve her, pity she cannot see that he is such a wuzz.

Its possible you only have to look at a lost and found on Facebook the number of people who never have their phones out of their hands but leave them in taxis..pubs...shops

Plus Sean and Billy would know Todds pin to open the phone dont think Todd would think to change it .

But Todd is meant to be clever and surely by anyone that sly would protect their phone, especially when playing phone based tricks

It's not that unusual for people in relationships to have each other's PIN. Although, it's usually for people in longer relationships than Billy and Todd.

And why does Todd have Phelan's number programmed into his phone?

In the cafe it looked like Cathy was counting the takings, so why was it obvious the paper was only printed on one side?

To be fair they are on show so often, that he probably doesn't bother anymore.

They were order slips she had in her hand. No idea why it looked like she was counting them though, do cafes do that?

My car locks itself if the key's out of the ignition for 5 minutes.

It has to be left unlocked so that the security can take it back to the Granada secure compound, ready for its next appearance. Next year?

With mine I just take the starting handle away with me, then no-one can start it anyway.

Keys, and locking cars! Whatever next.
