It is very annoying. It is as if they cant be bothered with ,making it realistic.

I disagree. I think anything that reminds us that it is not "real" for the half hour it is on, ruins it.

exactly, we know when characters were born from Peter in 1965 to Harry in 2016, there really is not logic to changing their ages because you cant do that in real life.

and doing so messes up the continuity of other things so we how have the twins conceived out of wedlock which I doubt would be appropriate for a Hindu couple

A lady I know of had a couple of lines a few weeks ago in Audrey's (playing a Mrs O'Hara) , and she had her name on the credits.
Maybe 2 lines is the quota required

It is annoying and disappointing. Even without online resources, there's always going to be viewers who remember events such as births because they mirror things in their own lives. The same with other significant events. If you had a baby around the same time that a child on CS was born and that child suddenly celebrates their sixth birthday instead of their fifth or leaves primary school a year earlier than yours then the continuity error is going to stick out like a sore thumb. To you, at least.

it will if they change Lilly's birthday, it's the same as mine, 26th august

I've worked in education so the ages and the school years are more apparent to me, in the same way they would be to a parent

Ah yes. No wonder i wasn't sure! But as others have said, we're generally left not knowing how much of what Mary says has any relationship to reality at all.

Exactly! The twins were the same age as my daughter, so it annoys me now that they are obviously older!

How can they be? The courts are "closed" and so you can only speak about and identify a child when they are dead. (and not always then, even)

I am limbering up in preparation for the naked rooftop protest!

It'll be worth watching - I'm in training to buff up (even more than at present).

Me too. Maybe it isn't too late?”

So hot that it burnt, (scalded) the hand but not the fingers.

More to the point though, how much longer must the tedious Alex - Cathy storyline continue. Always borderline boring but now totally and utterly irrelevant.

I don't think it is intended to be particularly funny at all but, unintentionally, it has become something of a pantomime filler.

Didn't Sunita discover that Dev had at least one other child by other women who ran his other shops - he had seven shops at one time. Amber was one of those children.

Shush, don't mention the other shops. We're supposed to have forgotten about them.

Why would he go to a and e. Are there no lawyers close to the cafe? The lawyer would have known exactly the temperature of the soup that caused such a gruesome injury. He missed the the lottery, but it's not too late for emotional damages.

Being blunt but what a pile of sh!t that was - as if they'd drive to Inverness in that thing! Looks like they went to Scotland via Heaton Park - not a route I'd normally take!

When are they giving that Keiron Roberts his P45 - blimey, if anyone must know where the bodies are buried, it's him!

Dev brings up what the twins went through with Sunita. The incident obviously didn't play on their minds as they quite happily locked Max in the room where his father's corpse was discovered.

Did Ty say A19 when they broke down? Doncaster to Sunderland? Not exactly direct even if Roy wanted to keep off the motorways.

It was so clearly a park they were in - genuinely insulting our intelligence if they're trying ti pass that off as an A road

I thought he'd sold them sometime before he bought the kebab shop? He needed the money for something but I don't remember what.

Yes, a bit silly. Any normal person would have hired a car but then Roy would probably be totally non-plussed in a car he wasn't familiar with.

I can't remember why he discounted the train. He's always been very pro-public transport so him choosing to drive the Woody that distance seems quite a big SOR when there are trains and coaches available.

As soon as I saw that scene, I thought to myself "that's a park".
Probably where the Red Rec scenes are filmed.

You could well be correct, such is my attention span these days.
I think though, even before he bought the kebab shop, there was little mention of them.

To be fair, no reason why the woody wouldn't get them there except that the storyline required it not to.
Taking a train, assuming there is one, would be more logical.

What?!

No one cares about that lovely, cuddly dog? He's going to be put down.

Can a vet tell if a dog has cancer in a regular appointment? Our last dog, had cancer but we didn't find out until later when various procedures were done.

It was so obviously a park. My son said why are they at the park! What shite production values.

Never mind. Roy, Cathy and Alex are back together and all is well with the world.

But...... Ty and Fiz have got their eye on that Cathy............
