It's totally farcical, they seem to forget about storylines all the time. Zero quality control on this show.

The Phelan/Todd SL is shaping up nicely as is the Caz/Maria SL.
Then we had the Alahan twins v Erica SL. ![]() ![]() Beth to Kirky - You on the packed lunches? Ha bloody ha. The was in very bad taste. Poor Ozzy only died yesterday. But did anyone notice Ozzy was back tonight? He was playing a guide dog.

Why would Maria go away for a few days and leave her post unopened, especially if she was waiting for a new credit / debit card?

Her Uncle Stephen, Gail's brother, who she worked for in Milan
She threw money at Phelan before when she was having an 'episode' (no makeup) and wanted the doors locked. Now she magically has some savings and thinks a flat would be best for her, Bethany and Harry.......seriously. They missed a trick with Sarah. She could've come back, all worldly, with ambitions, taking over the day-to-day running of the factory or working for a fashion house. Instead, she returns -- tail between legs, knocked up by the fairy gangster. Blimey, considering all the 'men' she must have sh*gged in Italy, I'm surprised she didn't come back with a flock. |

I got the feeling they have done something else to Erica that she hasn't discovered yet.
How would they have got Marmite on her nose? While she was asleep they gave her a frontal lobotomy. Now she will obey their every command. ![]()

Caz may have the card, but the banks usually send the PIN number separately. She may not get another opportunity to go through Maria's post.
(But I haven't been sent a new PIN for years, these days you just keep using the old one, so there shouldn't be a second envelope in the post.) |

This is Corrie land, remember, where passwords, phone locks and PINs don't exist! (Or if they do, are easily guessable.)

How would they have got Marmite on her nose? Oh, hilarious they are that pair, how we laughed. Except we didn't because it wasn't funny, nor even slightly entertaining. It was the school play badly written. |

The marmite scene reminded me of The IT Crowd where Roy didn't have sh*t on his face. I thought that was where it was going, but pre-watershed . . .
Erica 'Can you smell something ?' LOL |

Those blokes Billy was with outside the cafe were a bit weird. None of them were interacting. They were just standing there. Then when Billy and Todd set off to clear the house they all walked past in a tight group but still no interaction.
What were they cybermen? ![]() ![]() Todd's story. I hate it when a character suddenly dredges up some long-winded tale from the past that to explain why they are the way they are. I'm a mean, cold, heartless, lying, two-timing, calculating, scheming, cheating, thieving, murdering, hateful bastard because................................ Roy and Cathy's December wedding... Who wants to bet that it'll be the new storyline for Christmas now they're having to rewrite the Nazir's storyline? ![]() I checked the comments on Corrie's Facebook page the other day and unbelievably, there's still people wondering what happened to Alya's supposed pregnancy! ![]() It'll never end!

Well now we know the reason for Maria's sham marriage storyline - to bring out the really evil Kaz.
And all of those people thinking they're getting a flat with a £15,000 reservation fee and no mention of the purchase price, a deposit or mortgage. What do they think happens moneywise after they've paid their reservation fee? Obviously no-one has given that a second thought. |

It also doesn't seem to have occurred to them (or the writers) that a builder only takes a reservation fee. The bank or building society supplying the mortgage takes the deposit and only when they've established that you can afford to repay that mortgage on what you earn. On a part-time barmaid's wages - never!

![]() Sarah has to cash in the shares, that she hasn't received yet, before seeing any money. The three stooges are going to get very rich this way! |
