WHAT?!?! I thought that broke the ultimate rule of "work on the Street/live on the Street"...!
How likely is it that someone on a dating site would make a date with somebody on their own street? Or even within a mile of it. Though didn't Izzy almost immediately got a job at the factory? Hence she have been living within a wheelchair ride of the street. |

It's quite a record nowadays. She has been in the show for six-years and has managed to live away from the street without a burst pipe, flood, house fire, etc destroying her flat and forcing her to live on the street and forget about it.

Izzy lives at 28 Grayling Street according to Corriepedia. I'm sure it'll only be a couple of inches from Coronation Street.

Both of them are usually cynical and world weary, none of it rings true......the whole thing looks really forced.
No doubt David and Kylie were at in the treatment room at the hairdressers, while Kathy and Roy were having a quickie under the tables before the lunch time rush at the cafe and Liz was in flagrante delicto on the bar flap with whoever she could find. Like you do. Quote:

![]() We have seen Izzy's flat but the sets are packed away when not needed. Corrie probably just couldn't be arsed to get it out again. |

28 Grayling Street is mentioned as "location unspecified but presumably in Weatherfield"
It's a specially adapted bungalow and is shown on: http://coronationstreet.wikia.com/wi...rayling_Street |

Later in the garage was pathetic. What were they going to do before Sally turned up - have sex in the garage office?

Emily signed her house over to Norris a few years ago, on the condition she could still live there, why she done it, I don't know. I remember she told him he was now responsible for all the repairs and bills, and he wasn't too pleased. The inside of the house hasn't been seen for a long time, but I noticed before she left, they had a few scenes in the living room, which makes me think Norris is going to get a lodger, or why else would they bother showing it again?

Indeed, ludicrous. Since when do the two of them have a high libido? Portraying them as being like two sex crazed teenagers who can't keep their hands off each other is a joke. They didn't even fancy each other until a few weeks ago, having known each other for years.

I think this is a Blackburn thing. He did the same in ED with the whole Maurel mess.

I know the Corrie residents are well used to murders, fires, kidnappings, tram crashes, etc. happening on their doorstep all the time but David and Kylie's completely non-plussed reaction to someone spread out in the middle of the street didn't ring true.
You'd be at least somewhat curious and not dismiss it completely like it was a dead rat or something. In fact, everyone's reaction to Carla was a bit off. Anna, Phelan and Kevin took forever to go over to her and then Kate and Aidan were just basically shrugging their shoulders like it was a mild inconvenice. Surely most people on seeing someone related to them in such a condition would act a little hysterical at first!? |

I thought David and Kylie were making out it was nothing and getting the kids in the house fast as they did not want Max and Lily to be traumatised by something that could have given them nightmares if they had seen blood and guts all over the road.

Did she need money to send to her nephew, Spider, or am I thinking of a different occasion?
Didn't she take some equity from the house from Richard Hillman? She gave Spider money for a juice bar. Was it for that? Not sure how that was sorted after he died because she wouldn't have owned all the house. Jack and Vera also had some financial dealings with him but of course being the Duckies, they lost their money. |

I reckon an Anna - Kevin relationship would be much more low key and subdued in real life. But still fairly implausible, it's hard to believe that two people who have known each other for years would fall for each other at the exact same time having previously not felt any attraction......that type of cosy familiarity would usually be a big passion killer.
And it was just in time for Phelan's arrival!

I met the man I have been with for 9 years on a dating website and it turned out he lived about a mile and a half from me. I'd been walking almost past his house for years with my dogs but we'd never met.

Suddenly fancying someone you've known for many years is much harder to believe : there's a good reason you didn't fancy them for all that time, which makes the Anna - Kevin and Audrey - Ken thing rather ridiculous. |

It is possible for people who've known each other for years to start a relationship but it's usually the case that they've secretly fancied each other during that time but weren't able to act on it for whatever reason.
