Could Sarah have bought a smaller bottle of milk? It looked like a pint!

Mary and Tracey talking in the florists, the clock says 4pm. Next scene in the Rovers, Tyrone and Steph's brother (can't remember his name) drinking when Kev said they were too busy at the garage for Sophie to be off. Also Gary drinking too. Do none of these people work beyond 4pm!! Also let's not forget not much earlier they were all in the cafe having lunch (i'm assuming or was it breakfast)

Soaps always seem to do this. Someone will be seen getting some milk for the family, and they always buy the small 1 pint bottles. Don't think i've ever seen a 4 or 6 pint bottle bought, possibly seen a 2 pint bottle a few times but thats about it.

No idea why though, seems odd.

So I guess Gail, Sarah and Nick haven't told Martin that his son is planning on killing himself and Clayton?

Why are they not acting surprised to see Peter back? Tracy reacted like she saw him last Tuesday.

And how did Nick know he was back to mention him on the phone?

Ken was up earlier than 2am because he couldn't sleep and then suddenly his taxi came which was scheduled for 2am.

Where did this bistro cellar come from?

When Liz went into the Rover's lounge Steve said she looked rough. Were we meant to think she had just rolled out of bed? She had make-up on. Just not as much. Although when Michelle appeared she was fully plastered. As usual.

David being locked in the cellar is daft. How long will the trial last? Do they plan to keep him down there for the duration? Will the bistro be closed for the whole time?

Where did the set come from? It's not like Corrie can usually be arsed to build a set or film away from the Corrie set!

Why doesn't David threaten to smash all the wine and other booze down there? That would make Nick think about opening the door. Or he could at least try and enjoy his time there and drink some of it!

And why would the viaduct have a cellar anyway?
Didn't a road go through there once?

Exactly. Peter was surprised to find Ken up so it must have been earlier than 2am which was when Ken had told Peter his taxi was picking him up.

Ken did say to Peter, where have you been to 1am, so not that early, an Ken replied, he couldn't sleep.

Depressing to think how much time they spend getting the make up 'right' before scenes.

Maybe that's why we don't see characters drink hot beverages anymore.........creates havoc.

pitty they dont make the same effort on the stories as they do on the make up

Probably ran out and just bought a small bottle from the local shop until the do the big shop due to the extortionate prices charged inmlocal shops. I've done it before so not too unrealistic.

So David says he's going to blow himself up with Clayton and their solution is to look him in a cellar? What happens after the trial, will David's suicidal thoughts be forgotten. The whole thing is ridiculous, David has been without Kylie before and I understand this time it's different because she's gone forever but I don't think he'd leave Max and Lily and put them through losing another parent.

I was hoping David chased Clayton (after he escaped trial) over the pennines into the sleepy village called Emmerdale and was the cause of the crash dying in a big fireball

Have I been missing something? Had they really managed to keep it under wraps about Ken's stroke? I don't recall seeing anything about it in spoilers etc.

It looked a bit like a dungeon. I imagined David chained to the wall!
