What has happened to Maria's husband?
Has Hope's cancer been mentioned recently?
And, with Emily away, who is looking after the children when their parents are seen in the pub / at work etc?

Strange that the cellar has just a small grill to let light in yet we could see David as if it was almost in daylight:

Don't remember seeing any rats though.
The fact that a viaduct has a cellar is of more concern to most rather than how much light a small grid allows in.

I just think people are imagining that they have done the scenes with the Tommy Orpington character to replace Sharif scenes as they are trying to think that the scenes weren't planned as an excuse for them being so cringe worthy, they seem to forget Corrie are experts when it comes to cringe worthy scenes.
Have you seen any of the Emmerdale episodes this week?
They ARE cringe worthy, The Street is way behind for poor episodes.

Yes I have seen Emmerdale this week and I actually thought the Paddy and Marlon bit were good, but that discussion can be saved for the threads about Emmerdale rather than bought on this thread.

At least there was a bit of realism this week, when Peter arrived and Ken said there was nowhere for him to sleep but the couch, but he could have his bedroom when went on holiday. Obviously he doesn't have an expanding house like everyone else's.
However that will probably change when the other Barlow's arrive, they can't all sleep in the couch.
Anyway, I was dissapointed not to see where Freddy was kipping in Fiz and Ty's hovel

What was the point of him staying there? We didn't even see him at Chez Hovel.

Exactly, what was the point, he didn't even stay the week?

Except that Ken managed to fit in him and Deirdre, Blanche, Peter, Simon, Tracey and Amy all at the same time at one point.

Exactly. And when Peter and Simon lived there, Tracey and Amy lived there too at one point. Amy's room is downstairs in the 'front' room. So there are 3 bedrooms upstairs currently Tracey and Ken. So there is a spare room upstairs.

How come Peter is out of money? Does he not own the shop that Tracey has her flowers in? Was she not complaining a while back that Peter had put up her rent.
So he has that coming in...
Is there a Flat over the Flower Shop?

Bummer. David could have tied a note around it's little neck and got it to go and fetch help.

The flat above I believe is rented by Anna Windarse.

She was complaining again about that and I believe that Leanne persuaded him not to increase the rent.

Bringing up the old argument AGAIN, the old terraced houses are two up, two down, hence the reason why Ken told Peter he'd need to sleep on the couch, the same reason as to why Amy sleeps in the front room, as there isn't a bedroom for her upstairs. Why else would she sleep downstairs?
The only houses with extra rooms upstairs are the ones with loft conversions, like Dev's , or maybe Jason did a conversion at Eileen's, not sure, Tyrones never went ahead I don't think.

In Monday's first episode, at the Platt's, when David and Lily were on the couch, Lily was all over the place between the quick successive scenes...... sitting up, slouched to one side, sitting up.......

We noticed that. The continuity is awful.

Also spotted here!

I noticed it on first position swap and was surprised something so obvious had been missed, but then she moved again. And again. And again.... Think it was 6 times or more in the end!

Some of the houses are three bedroomed, but most need about six.

Judging by the way Beth was dressed I'm guessing that her community service job is Weatherfield creepy clown.

Wouldn't David be a witness at the trial?

He doesn't have to be used as a witness.

It wouldn't help either side to be honest.

A heartbroken husband helps the prosecution, David being the way he is helps the defence.

Ken's got the tubes in his nose, so he'll be fine tomorrow.

David's lighter will run out of fuel if he keeps using it to illuminate his escape.

lets just be thankful we can actually see her, now they have removed the cloak of invisibility from her

and her continuity is better that a lot of the adults
