No, because he fastened his seatbelt before he set off to kill himself.

Compared to Robert, who wasn't even IN the crash but practically ended up with a severed hand

Well that's it then. A drag queen and a dog. One L it is.

At least Gail is consistent. Has she ever taken responsibility for David turning out how he has?

Why is Kevin so outraged about David when Faye and Gary -- her family - are so forgiving?

His reaction was a bit extreme.

But then that's Corrie innit? OTT.

Kevin would be outraged if his sock was inside out! He is permanently outraged.

Sorry Honey. I edited.

Kevin is a knuckle-dragging, neanderthal and we all know that Corrie think OTT equals very exciting.

She just looks awful and ridiculous.

It's like watching E.T. wearing an old Danny La Rue wig

Indeed. And they never explain why huge men are intimidated by the short and puny KevHulk.

If Michelle was that bothered by Amy's presence, why didn't she take the telephone into another room? It's not like it was bounded by a cord...

Robert's hand magically healed! And why did he need an introduction to Peter, he was married to Tracy once upon a time.

It is a corded phone in the hallway at the Rovers. If a call comes they always have to call the person to the phone.

Good point about Robert and Tracey, weren't they married some time in the past,? unbelievable he wouldn't know Peter.

Mind you that was probably a different Robert, not the wooden dummy that reappeared a while ago. You can pass the name to another actor(?) but not the memories in the mind.

I've just been having a catch up (and indeed getting back into Corrie after a fairly long break).

So let me get this straight. Fizz takes her eye off the kids for a minute and loses one. She then proceeds to strut around like C3PO looking for said lost child and then hand wringing her apologies when said child is found (albeit under an imminently exploding car). Meanwhile her eye was not on the other children for considerably longer than "a minute".

God, it would have been epic if she'd returned to find the others had vanished.

What was the rubbish about Robert feeling so guilty? If they had left David in the cellar nothing would have happened. He didn't let David out.

The trial was over very quickly. It only lasted two days!

I do fear for Anna. She doesn't appear to have any 'magic tubes' up her nose!

Your description as a knuckle dragger only apply's when he's not wearing his Cuban heels.

So now in 3 soaps we have a character injured by somebody elses hand.
Jane in EE....Nicola in ED and not Anna in Coronation Street.Plus all 3 have or will be wheelchair bound for some time.

Yet another 'comedy' moment in court, when Norris turned up late?

Why was Tim being such a knobhead to Robert at the hospital? He rudely told him to leave, because 'only family should be here'. Is this another character transformation, from likeable to horrid?

He looked like a cave man going on about "my missus."

One thing that bothered me about Madame Michelle tonight was that she went whining off to Robert at the Bistro to complain about Peter staying at the pub... after everything that had just happened with David crashing his car in the street. Nice perspective there.

We also saw her bitchiness rear its ugly head again about Leanne - "she's not even Amy's real aunty." She raised a son that wasn't even her own, so she has no room to talk.

I was wondering what Robert had done to Tim for Robert to deserve being spoken to like a piece of crap on the bottom of Tim's shoe. Tim's animosity towards Robert seemed to come from nowhere

Michelle is no more related to Amy than Leanne is. Leanne was Amy's Step-Aunt when she was married to Peter as he is her Step-Uncle. Michelle is currently Amy's Step-Mum. That doesn't give Michelle anymore hold over Amy
