What did Michelle actually go for the Bistro for or didn't she say, because it looked as though she went to the Bistro just to whinge about Steve allowing Peter to stay at the rovers Robert didn't agree with her and offer her any sympathy so she storms off, it was just bizarre which made it hilarious.

So it looks like the scenes of interaction between Steve, Tim and Tommy Orpington were actually intended rather than just swiftly added fillers for cut out scenes of Sharif, otherwise why would they include the scenes of Sharif last night and not just more 'filler' scenes.

Embarrassing isn't it? The crap scripts could be justified if it was done at short notice.

I've just been having a catch up (and indeed getting back into Corrie after a fairly long break).

So let me get this straight. Fizz takes her eye off the kids for a minute and loses one. She then proceeds to strut around like C3PO looking for said lost child and then hand wringing her apologies when said child is found (albeit under an imminently exploding car). Meanwhile her eye was not on the other children for considerable longer than "a minute".

God, it would have been epic if she'd returned to find the others had vanished.
That tickled me too, she must have left her own kids alone in the yard for about an hour. She wasn't even concerned that they might be scared by the explosion, she was too busy apologising to David!

And Harry was wearing his cloak of invisibility again

he has a baby grow of invisibility which Lily has grown out of because she now has a stand in stunt dummy

michelle was just showing her true selfish me me me attitude all about peter when Anna is scarred for life, Robert was right to shut her up

more stupid court scenes norris just barging in like he's at the cinema

Tim only wanted family in yet had no problem with Sarah being there and no sign or mention of Izzy

In what way is Tim supposed to be related to Anna? I doubt whether being a father who gave his child up for adoption counts.

Much the same could be said of 'caveman' Kev all he has done is buy Anna a few drinks, meals and bonked her a couple of times and now he is declaring her 'his Missus' to all and sundry.

Yet another 'comedy' moment in court, when Norris turned up late?

Why was Tim being such a knobhead to Robert at the hospital? He rudely told him to leave, because 'only family should be here'. Is this another character transformation, from likeable to horrid?
I think I might be a bit outraged if some virtual stranger walked in without protective gear on.

I was wondering what Robert had done to Tim for Robert to deserve being spoken to like a piece of crap on the bottom of Tim's shoe. Tim's animosity towards Robert seemed to come from nowhere

Michelle is no more related to Amy than Leanne is. Leanne was Amy's Step-Aunt when she was married to Peter as he is her Step-Uncle. Michelle is currently Amy's Step-Mum. That doesn't give Michelle anymore hold over Amy
Peter is just Amy's uncle, not step uncle. Tracey is his sister.

He is a co-parent and friend, so like extended family, I should think. (though actually no relation)

Sharif was due to be off screen then anyway, the week he was sacked he wasn't appearing for about 3 and a half weeks after the Monday episodes.

She asked if they were closed, so off screen the rovers either got a surge in customers, or she heard through the grapevine so went to find out, she was going to leave after Robert explained why.

Peter and Tracey are only related through their parents marriage, not biologically.

He was quick enough to go back to work and leave her there, and then go off at the platts threatening David. I would have thought that when the garage had the car one of them would have spotted the back seat crammed with bright green jerry cans.

Won't be surprised if Kevin fails to blame Fiz, when she had a big part in it as well.

Fell asleep in the second episode (maybe that is a sign of how interesting it was).

What was the verdict in the world's shortest murder trial?

And what was all that twaddle from Michelle about it being good manners to leave the room if someone is on the phone?

Ken adopted Tracey so they both technically have the same dad. Though I'm not sure if that makes them half-brother and sister, or step-brother and sister or both!

Hmm, particularly when eavesdropping has been one of the major sources of s/ls over the last few decades.

No, not just through marriage, because Ken adopted Tracey, so they are both equally his children. (And Peter's comment that ken was more his father than hers was uncalled for and nasty)

That stuff with Tim was uncalled for and completely out of character. Or was he more like the character who originally turned up on the street?

He looked like a cave man going on about "my missus."

One thing that bothered me about Madame Michelle tonight was that she went whining off to Robert at the Bistro to complain about Peter staying at the pub... after everything that had just happened with David crashing his car in the street. Nice perspective there.

We also saw her bitchiness rear its ugly head again about Leanne - "she's not even Amy's real aunty." She raised a son that wasn't even her own, so she has no room to talk.

Michelle was defintiely in full bitch mode. Why are we meant to believe that Amy adores her? What does she ever do for Amy? Michelle is never nice to anyone.

That tickled me too, she must have left her own kids alone in the yard for about an hour. She wasn't even concerned that they might be scared by the explosion, she was too busy apologising to David!

Why didn't the stupid bint lock/bolt the back gate? Then Lily wouldn't have been able to go out.

Quite. We've never actually seems them interact or have any kind of relationship whatsoever. Kevin Webster is a grunty caveman. Always has been. Bought it a drink, bought it a meal, shagged it, now it's mine.

So romantic. Not much of a prize though despite such a beautiful wooing,

One of the Platts made a comment to kevin that if he killed David it would orphan Lily and Max when Max is already legally orphaned, David is just a guardian by marriage as he hasn't adopted him yet.

Would have worked in the storyline a lot better if Steve ended up in pain during the kick about which led to the MD story rather than a call from Jim. Don't understand the panic over the babies when both Jim and Steve have been fine most of their lives, the babies could go for decades without any problems. Amy has always been fine as well, and she may carry it.

Not an expert on the matter, but when Jim had his fall from scaffolding, would the MD not have caused problems in his recovery?

It is a corded phone in the hallway at the Rovers. If a call comes they always have to call the person to the phone.

Good point about Robert and Tracey, weren't they married some time in the past,? unbelievable he wouldn't know Peter.

Mind you that was probably a different Robert, not the wooden dummy that reappeared a while ago. You can pass the name to another actor(?) but not the memories in the mind.
BIB I've just watched it again. It's not a corded phone so Michelle could have gone into the living room with the phone instead of snapping at Amy.
