Think of the money you save by feeding your family at someone else's expense.
No wonder Roy has to charge such ridiculous prices, Danish pastry £1.50! with Anna feeding her family for free and Cathy stuffing half the takings into her overall pocket.
Is £1.50 extortionate for a cafe? I dont think it is, although really, it should be them paying the customers for putting up with Anna's "service with a snarl" .

and have no card to use when away
This. And how can Caz use the card without the PIN? The letter containing the PIN comes a few days later and has to be verified over the phone before it can be used - at least that's the procedure with my bank. Not that Corrie writers give two hoots for accuracy.

Shush. The Corrie writers have their credit cards given to them by their mummies and daddies. They have no real idea how these things work in real life.

For a new card perhaps but not a routine replacement - I've never had a new PIN for a replacement card.

Agreed ... but Caz still doesn't know the PIN.

Nope. These days, you have to place the card in a card reader and enter the pin whilst in the bank.

Re Maria's credit card, I'm with HSBC and all new cards, even replacements have to be activated via online banking. Is it not the same with all banks? Obviously not the case with Bank of Weatherfield.

I thought it was agreed that Sally was going to go to the hospital with Kevin to be there when Anna woke up and Tim was taking Faye and Seb to the café..................but Tim was at the hospital too (as well as Gary).

Also Sarah came round the corner, spoke to Bethany and then turned around and went back round the corner again. I know she was avoiding Gary but surely she would just have kept on walking to wherever it was she was originally going!

They've already showed Caz with bags of shopping, just after she stole the card. She awkwardly said she'd got some army back-pay.

Also, Caz called the Home Office, supposedly to dob in Maria. Wouldn't Maria have told Kirk by now what had happened.

Michelle "all about me me me me me me me me" tonight
Well, we knew it would be. The results whatever they may be will be about her as well!

Anyway, may I say she surpassed herself tonight? That look she gave at the beginning of the prog when Peter and Steve were in the bar with her was a masterclass in acting. No one can roll their eyes aloft like Michelle Connor!

She was off with Robert tonight. What has he done to offend her wonderfulness?

And I wish Tracy wold shut up and stop bitching at Peter.

Funnily enough I got my replacement card last week and a letter with my new PIN number came in today so some banks do it that way.

And so is Robert, I think. She will be giving Liz a run for her money.

God Anna's acting was laughable tonight (just for a change), I know she had been in an induced state, for a few days but her voice was so ridiculously croaky, it was if she had smoke damage but the flames never went above her legs

Good news. Anna now has tubes up her nose !

Although croaky, she soon became aware of what was happening once she was told she was in hospital.

Normally when a patient wakes up after being unconscious someone calls for the doctor/nurse. I don't think anyone but those around her bedside know she is conscious again.

TRacey should remember to put her seatbelt on when driving, especially after a row. Who knows what terrible things could happen.

Yes, I guess so. Because they obviously need Liam to be out of Maria's flat for another night for some reason. So that Caz can get up to something there possibly??

I hope they're wearing hair nets to give her a fighting chance against infections.

I hope they leave the window open near her so she gets the flu or pneumonia
