Did Carla have lip gloss on, or was it my imagination? She still has the tubes up her nose.

Gar-eh appears and who does he see but Phelan? He's just about to thump him when fishwife Anna appears as if by magic.

I was silently counting until Anna turned up......you just knew it, didn't you!

Time and time again, a stranger turns up and the locals swallow whatever the stranger claims. The folks of Coronation Street never believe someone they've known for years.

Are they EVER going to re visit the flat fire that Tracey caused??? Very frustrating

I swear I have watched scenes being repeated over and over again particularly the Kevin, Anna, Gary and Phelan scenes just in different locations.

Mind you can't Anna just tell Kevin? She can at least tell him how Pat used the CCTV of Gary hitting him to blackmail both him and Owen and eventually steal Owen's investment.

Steph assumes Tracy may have had something to do with the robbery, but decides to buy flowers from her shop. Why give Tracy her custom? Oh right, it will suddenly be the only place they can go to buy flowers.

I see Todd's "life-changing" facial scar has now disappeared completely. Makes a real mockery of the likes of Katie Piper who are genuinely scarred for life.

This is the second time I've seen Audrey "do" Ken's hair and it looks exactly the same afterwards
All you see is Audrey messing his hair about, giving the impression that she's just about to cut it when the scene changes
Couldn't they time Ken's haircut in real life with his fake hair cut, so at least we see a before and after

And all of a sudden he appears to be really nice too.

I see they've dusted off the old Anna script. How long before she keeps telling Kev

"I'm just tired"

Has she forgotten what happened last time she kept keeping secrets from her partner? Just tell Kevin and get it over with!

Also goes to see the brilliant Oblong heroes with her dad

How many haircuts does Ken need? It seems like he's always asking for a trim every week.

Sophie is meant to be a forgiving Christian and yet she's bad-mouthing a mentally ill woman.

Gary and Faye going out to get some ice-cream, at night!?!?!? In January!?!?!? How many shops that sell ice-cream would be open at that time? Why couldn't you just get a couple of ice-creams out of the freezer? Why would you travel through the cold to eat something cold? I must have misheard that.

I like Phelan. He's a good baddie character. What happened to Anna was horrible but how many scenes of Anna's tortured face do we have to see? She's not a sympathetic character. Sorry but I don't feel her pain.

So you don't get the deep, underlying sexual frisson and lust between them as Audrey runs her fingers provocatively through Kenneth's alluring, luscious locks as they both give deep inward groans and shiver just a little?

And now back to reality. Why can't Ken just ask to make an appointment like everyone else. It always seems that Audrey will fit him in later.

But does Ken really want a haircut from Audrey? Or is it merely a euphemism for something far more intimate and personal?

Sophie is only nice when it suits her. Maddie was a scumbag but that was ok with her.Sophie stands to gain nothing from Jenny as she's obviously the epitome of evil.

Ice cream? Anyone would think Faye was a 5 year old kid. It would have been more reasonable for him to take her out for a pizza sometime.

Gary arrives back to the Street. Meets Izzie whizzing by. No mention of his son Jake, or any discussion of Gary going to see him.

Is Dev still selling flowers at his shop?

Where does everybody go now to buy their 'tat' goods?

Max goes swimming and comes back with totally dry hair

can't they even wet the kid's hair just for a bit of realism

forgot who it was now, came in the pub at night and said good afternoon to somebody

Probably, but why buy flowers elsewhere when you can allow Tracy to bitch at you despite giving her your custom?

Mind you Tracy rarely works there, she only pops in to complain to Todd about Carla.

Another storyline fallen flat under Blackburn!! Just like these 'he/she might not make it/critical condition' nonsense the medical advisors come up with for dramatic effect.

Anna Windass masterclass:
*Move about frantically and put on a gormless face
*Screech at the top of your voice
*Fidget with necklace
*Show you're under immense strain by rubbing your hand over your chest
*Add "luv" at the end of every third sentence.
*Big sigh when someone's given you bad news

Does anyone care about Phelan's misdemeanors? Typical Anna, play damsel in distress and get a man to do her dirty work. She chewed and spat out Eddie and Owen, won't be long before Kevin's her next victim.

Swimming pools have hairdryers, so not much of an SOR. I certainly don't like coming home from the pool in winter with wet hair. I am wondering why they mentioned it so much during both episodes though

Why the hell has it taken so long to interview Carla?!? Even with her being 'near death's door' (again), surely the plod would have swept in before now? Oh well.

Also, Reet Petite signs up for "the social media" and pretty much the next day, she has a message from JennyBradley. Unless Reet signed up using an email address that would alert Jenny or they have suddenly got loads of friends in common, how would Jenny know she was on the site? Does she search Rita's name daily hoping for a hit?

It might have been McDonalds. They have icecream with crushed smarties in. He could at least have offered a burger to go with it.

Faye seems to be played much younger since Miley was written out.

That's exactly what I thought. She kept giving Tracy dirty looks when Tracy came in the shop so why give her your custom in the first place if you don't like her or you have your suspicions about her?

On another note it's funny how Tracy just happened to be in the Bistro when the police came in to question Steph just so Tracy could sit in the corner making sarcy comments and act like the innocent party.

It says a lot about the popularity of a 'victim's' character when people (including me) are rooting for the baddie.

I dislike Anna more than any other character in Corrie because of the way she puts on her 'poor little girl' act and in another scene can become a nasty, screeching harridan in a matter of moments.

Horrible woman

Maybe her and Fiz(Jenny McAlpine) went to the same acting school?

Or just say she's uncomfortable around him because they had a one night stand but make out it was years ago? Then if Phelan for GOK what reason tells Kev it was recently, while she was still with Owen, just laugh and say he's deluded.

Why don't people just tell white lies in Corrie rather than all this angst?
