I hope they leave the window open near her so she gets the flu or pneumonia
Or let's hope Phelan hears about her and decides to get his evil revenge for her bad mouthing him when he returned to the street and he goes to the hospital and rips the tubes out of her nose and suffocates her with a pillow.

Wishful thinking

I'm hoping that too, what happened to her is payback. karma or whatever.

God Anna's acting was laughable tonight (just for a change), I know she had been in an induced state, for a few days but her voice was so ridiculously croaky, it was if she had smoke damage but the flames never went above her legs

We had a whip-round and arranged for them to perform a vocal chord volume reduction procedure while she was unconscious.

So Kevin is taking Anna to the Bistro when she gets out.

Thats the same Bistro that is half owned by the brother of the guy who you hold responsible for your partners injuries?

So that will be next week then, knowing how quickly people heal in Corrie.

Always had Kevin down as more of a Rovers kind of bloke than a poncy Bistro type.

Said it in the episode thread but Kevin forgets he left Anna standing there. If he cared about her so much why wasn't he heroically pushing her ahead first, making sure she was out of harms way?

You know who would have done that? Phelan.

For what, exactly? What has she done that was so wrong?

Takes more than cold air to bring on flu or pneumonia. Flu caused by a virus and pneumonia usually by bacteria.

And going outside with wet hair won't give you a cold either.

Next you will be saying sitting on a cold step don't give you piles either, and that if you pull a funny face and the wind changes direction you will stay like that isn't true either. .

But if you are very cold AND exposed to the virus it can lower your defences against it. Like most old wives tales, there is a grain of truth in it.

Agreed, and there's nowhere more unhealthy than a hospital.

I think Peter is going to bonk MissHell.
He's already done it with Michelle!

Maybe her screaming fishwife days are over!

What a treat. The BISTRO.

So now in 3 soaps we have a character injured by somebody elses hand.
Jane in EE....Nicola in ED and not Anna in Coronation Street.Plus all 3 have or will be wheelchair bound for some time.
That should be interesting.

Anna in a wheelchair.

Izzy in a wheelchair.

They could have a race around the 'Red Rec'.

Maybe I've missed something, but when were Peter and Steve ever best mates? I don't recall them ever doing anything together in the past.

I suspect it's a plot device to get Peter to bonk MissHell.
Yes, I know they were an item some time ago.

What a treat. The BISTRO.
Weatherfield's gastronomic highlight.

Where they serve every Street resident's favourite food, Spagbol with Olives, and served by everyone's favourite waitress,Scowl-awhile,when she can be bothered.

Be better along the canal towpath, hopefully they would both fall into the deepest lock.

Is the "new place in Precinct" not there any more? It was a feature for years

Suspension of reality was Peter's unfeasibly bright white sweatshirt on last night's episode. A strange choice of clothing for a rough and ready type of guy who constantly lives out of a duffle bag, and appears to kip on a mate's sofa most of the time.
He must carry a tub of Vanish powder around with him...

When Peter was having an affair with Tina, Steve knew and he was in turmoil. Apart from that I don't think they did anything else that could be classed as bessy mates .

Izzy couldn't do that. Me pain, me pain. Or has it cleared up now that the SL is over?

Yes. The promised trip to the bistro. At the end of the street. Just ten paces from his front door. Yes, that will really cheer Anna and speed her recovery. Thanks Kev.

Mind you, Anna would probably appreciate it as she is like Fiz and Ty and lives on shite food.

Hope Kev likes carrots.

They could get Fizz to knock up a batch of her fatty oven deposit elixir because it worked wonders on Urps cancer so would have no trouble curing Anna's burnt legs.
