I'm getting close to stopping watching this show. Tonight's rubbish with Amy kicking the postbox, the rubbish with the other kebab show owner and the uniforms, Caz crying and Tyrone giving symphony when he's never spoken to her and the sudden fawning over Michelle from Robert.

BIB Caz could compete with Michelle on the crying without tears, it it dreadful. Michelle has "cried" frequently lately but never a tear in sight, just the same with Caz (worse corrie actress for a long time and that is saying something!)

It's a dominant condition, meaning if you have the mutated version of the gene then you will have the condition as only one effected copy is required. In Steve's case he did not inherit the effected gene from Jim so he has no chance of passing it on to his off spring.

Ugh I'm struggling to watch it I really am. My dad had a major stroke when he was 65 and I was 25. (We're 74 and 34 now). It was so hard to deal with as the only child and my parents divorced. I watched him struggle to speak - his entire right side drooped and he had probably 10% if that of his vocabulary - he could only say yes and no at the start. You don't talk out of one side of the mouth conciously like a flipping pirate telling a secret! And it's rare you'd have a stroke of that magnitude and be able to hold a perfectly sensible conversation just with a wonky mouth. Has there been no research at all? It's so insulting. No doubt by Christmas he'll be tucking his paper under his arm and popping to the library. Humph.

Someone should send the Corrie scriptwriters a tape of Patrick Truman's stroke on EE........now that was properly researched stuff.
