Now the clocks have gone back, it's darkish round our way at 5 p.m.
In CS though, Mary and assorted extras were in the boozer, in full fancy dress, in broad daylight.

Yeah I also thought that framed photo of Maria and Gail in Maria's apartment was rather odd......what connection do they have to warrant a framed photo on the wall?!
maybe it's a novelty picture from a trip maria took to universal studios? get your picture taken with ET?

Michelle ...

Pregnant

Amd not ONCE during all this drama has she mentioned ...

HER ONE AND ONLY CHILD WAS SWAPPED AT BIRTH

Now you'd think wouldn't you she'd be a teeny weeny bit worried about going to hospital, having a baby, coming home with the wrong one .....

But no...not even a squeak about it

In reality, she would be over protective and worried sick and even considering a home delivery ...
You make a really good point. Might this be the next worry for Michelle? Could we really stand from now until the birth with her worrying about it?

Mary and those Alahan kids are a pain in the bum. Mary went off to put them to bed and read them Halloween stories. How old are they? There's a real sense of weirdness with those two having a nanny at their age, especially when the nanny is Mary. It's all very strange. Surely the situation can't last much longer. Mary needs to move out. But no doubt Corrie think it's all hilarious and good fun.

Now Erica's moving in there's going to be plenty of opportunity for more hijinks with the little dears.

How is Antony Cotton rewarded? He is practically a glorified extra! I think the writers must really hate him.
As do many viewers .

How convenient was it for Dev to ask Erica to move in with him , just as grandpa Nazir is looking for a flat for his fancy woman?
On a different subject, what has happened to Phelan and his dodgy mate, just wondering how many of those flats they've sold since we last saw them?
That storyline seems to have been forgotten about, and it was a damn sight more entertaining than the Maria / Caz rubbish
Also, Steve is going to get the son he always wanted from Leanne, but vows to have nothing to do with the baby, even though he'll be living across the road. As if!

They all broke out the "second cheapest sparkling" in celebration but have they checked that Andy is OK? Have they forgotten that Jim has still got the condition (so he does) and is going to need a lot of looking after (so he is).

But I guess as long as her Royal Sigh-ness saint Michelle's baby is OK

Oh and can someone tell Caz to shut her mouth please.
I believe they did mention ( almost as an afterthought) that Andy is OK too.

I was wondering what Steve's Jack Niicholson costume (in the witches of eastwick) was going to consist of - tubby man in sunglasses?

Yes. It would have been much more interesting if one of them had inherited it but no, it's Corrie, so no long term effects and it's all over and back to normal asap. I wonder if Jim will be mentioned again?

Why was Eva working in the pub on a Monday daytime? Is she only part-time at the factory?

h

She is totally wasted in the factory, no one there to admire her delightful charms, except Aiden, and I suspect he is thinking of batting for the other side the way he treats her.

Perhaps he should have gone to Specsavers!

dunno about the WoE, but a 'Here's Johnny' entrance would have been worth watching . . .

Just watching Monday's...

Would Kev and the others really be allowed in the room of someone who'd just had a skin graft, even with the plastic pinnies? Wouldn't the risk of infection be incredibly high?

And of the Wevvy Plod are so convinced Maria's flat is a potential 'crime scene' how come she's still there?

I never understood why Anna's legs were covered with heavy blankets if they were supposed to be burnt. Also, if they were bad, why wasn't she transferred to a specialist burns unit?

Probably wanted to show off his Peter-Barlow-leather-jacket to his Dad

of course, they are so identical you'd think they were brothers

knowing corry quality research I think the caz/maria story will involve caz abducting liam from school because anybody can walk into a school and pretend to be kid's aunt and take them

Do they sleep in the same room, or are we to assume that Asda lies in bed in one room waiting for Mary to finish reading to Aldi in another?

Yes. Don't they have a sort of cage thing if someone has burns. Maybe the burns are as bad as that. We never were told how bad the burns were, just that it would be 'years' to recover.

It was odd, because Ken is at the hospital. Maybe he was taking poor neglected Eccles for a walk.

I am surprised that they even let Kevin anywhere near a burns unit. He always looks like a down and out who lives under some railway arch.
There has been a great deterioration of standards in his house since Sally left him.

Glad to see that they are posting Garry's script on the ceiling again, so much easier for him.

Probably.

Corrie have decided they are weird twins, with a weird nanny. What will they have in store for Erica when she moves in? The twins are nutjobs. Good. Corrie needed more of those. As mother always used to say - You can never have enough nutjobs in Corrie.
