I wondered most of these things too. Would the webcam use Maria's wi-fi? Would she notice an extra light on the router? (Routers may differ, I know).

If it's a new card, she'd probably get a statement around a month after it was activated / applied for (somewhere around there!). It may be set to paperless, so a bill may not arrive. Even then Caz could have changed the address.

You would have thought that the police would have got details of the transactions (Maria would hardly deny them permission, if permission was needed, which i doubt) and gone through the transactions with Maria, to see her reaction. That should lead onto looking for CCTV evidence of the cash withdrawals and any shops that the card was used in. Any change of address would be interesting, as the police would want to try to link the new address with Maria, which they shouldn't be able to do.... and it might lead them to Caz, especially if they start bandying photographs about.

I doubt Maria can cancel the card, as I suspect Caz has changed the address, or at least set up security questions that Maria doesn't have the answers to. You'd think, though, that whether the police believe Maria or not, it would be sensible for them to get the card company to block the card, unless they're hoping that further purchases might help in the investigation - lock Maria up for the sham wedding and see if the card is still being used. The police don't appear to have investigated the card and its use more than superficially.


Presumably it's a hotel or B&B paid for by Maria's credit card. Or not paid for if it's pay on departure!

Yes, this was bugging me too! If it was me, I'd have a wander over to the site, just to see what was going on from the roadside, just out of interest.

It's bugging me as well. It doesn't take long to dig out the transactions on a card, look for CCTV at ATMs etc to see that these are not linked to Maria in anyway but the police seem to be dragging their feet over this

That's right. He has run off, and last Friday was his last appearance. Other than recriminations from the family (and Dev), there is no more to be said. Did his lover actually agree to leave as well? - there is no point in her hanging around.

I can't remember for sure, I was hoping someone else would! If they kill him off, I guess it would be for simplicity, so that there's no messy divorce and the house having to be sold etc. It would allow Yasmeen to stay where she is without any complications of having to sell up and move (to another house in the street ).

Can someone explain why Caz's hand was already bandaged up before she cut it with the scissors? When she was hiding behind Maria's door in plain sight of Eva she was holding the bandaged hand in such a way that it was already hurt but later we saw her take the bandage off her hand with no physical marks on her hand. She then used the scissors to cut herself and then put the bandage back on?

I think she had her hand bandaged up when she was hiding in the gully in plain sight of Aidan last Friday as well.

Would that not have been from when she put the bloody handprint on the wall?

There was a wound on her wrist which she reopened with the scissors.

There was a noticeable time gap between the curtains being opened and the lighting director turning the dimmer up in the studio set.

Sonia is still around because the actress will still be under contract till whenever Marc Anwar's contract would have ended, I guess with them leaving together. So whilst it makes no sense for Sonia her to stick around they still have to employ the actress who is contracted to appear in XX number of episodes until a given date.

contract wise it's the same as when Top Gear finished when Clarkson was sacked, Hammond and May would have still be under contractual obligations to continue with the series which is why we got that rather bitty 'what's left of top gear' episode.

You can get spy cameras that are so small it could be hid easily or disguised good enough as people use them in care homes to catch people out. Now how it's powered and how she bought it is another question considering she was homeless and jobless so it beggars to question if she used the credit card to purchase along with the mobile but why that's not been noticed really suspends belief along with how she miraculously has somewhere to live unless it's a bedsit from the council

This could have been a really good story line had they gone down the freaky stalker route like from the film Single White female

She could have killed the dog, blackmailed Aiden, Copied her clothes and stuff like that and Corrie could have really gone interesting with it rather than the fake murder

It appears that Fiz and Tyrone's house has taken over from Eileen's as the new dosshouse on the Street, a few weeks ago Freddy was living there, then last night Alya announced she is sleeping on their couch!
Why would she be living with them , they're hardly her best mates? I know her Gran kicked her out, but surely she'd have somewhere better to sleep than their grease covered , manky sofa ?

Suppose because that would upset Zeedan if she let her stay. However, the idea that someone like Alya , who's used to the very best of everything, would sleep on a couch in a dirty hovel like Fiz and Tyrone's is laughable. Unless they've put her in their posh front room , which we've never seen since Kirsty lived there.

The Fizrone lodgers seem to be the only way to include them in Corrie until they come up with a new story line for them.
