There's no such thing as a slow burn on Corrie. Rita joined Facebook and in the space of 24/48 hours she's had loads of requests including one from Jenny. Just like when Ken Barlow ended his relationship with Nessa on the pretext that he wasn't over Deirdre. And then the next thing we know he's sniffing around Audrey.

Its also totally predictable that he'll swindle Kevin and probably Jason, which could gives Jason his exit story and make us all squirm again - except those posters currently indulging in repetitive schoolboy smut bout Anna. Another rinse and repeat storyline, which all characters seem to have to have.
I wonder if the writers deliberately gave Phelan a name which encourages those with a juvenile sense of humour to read it as "feeling". They need sacking they did in an attempt to be humerus. Don't think the currrent writers know what real humour is.”
That's yet another Corrie standard scene. Just like the chats in the booth at the Rovers and a line-up at the bar smirking and commenting.
Whether Phelan cheats Kev and Jason or not he will definitely get sent packing this time by Anna's heroic new squeeze and possibly Jason nice but dim.
I'm not sure if the writers did it purposely but they don't deserve sacking. That's a bit OTT. Some of the posters find it funny and that's fine. We don't all have the same sense of humour. If you don't think it's funny, it's probably best just to ignore them.

Is it possible Phelan and the Ron are actually in it together?
The bit I don't get is that the build/conversion has seemingly been going on for some time but no one has seen hide nor hair of the workers, not in The Rovers, the cafe or heaven forbid the bistro.
The only way we knew they were there was when they hit the cable”
Has it though? One day recently Kev had just decided which contractor to employ. Then they started work. You're right about the workers though. Where are they? Surely there's more than just Jason and Phelan?

Also when Luke came into the Bistro the first thing CID woman said to him was "who are you?". For all she knew he could just be a regular customer coming in for a meal or a drink. To instantly attack him as he came through the door seemed a bit odd.”
All bl@@dy stupid. The interview in the bistro and the staff all gawping from the bar area. Cabaret night at the bistro again.

I wish i'd been on here ages ago when I spotted David Platt in the background scene dropping a brush in the salon and you could clearly see him let out a brief expletive f***
Also..I don't see this on any other program, but sometimes does anyone else see what looks like strands of golden braiding in Liz's hair?
Keep up the good work

Hello! That stuff in Liz's hair looks like lametta - tinsel for Christmas trees.

True. None of it will be Anna's fault. Even though she acted very foolishly.
