How did Anna climb the stairs to the flat?
They have a stair lift for Thingy who used to be married to Gary.

As if a teenager like Seb would have fake DVD's.

Everybody knows (except the script writers obviously) that teenagers download copies from the internet.

Would Maria really have been put in a cell by the same person who arrested her?

She seems to be the only detective who works all hours of the day.

Just loved the best line of the night from Vinnie, when Eileen said there was a beautiful woman waiting for Phelan when he got home and Vinnie said is she alright with you seeing other women. Brilliant.

What a load of contrived nonsense! Bin collection mix-ups (stolen from Eastenders), then Johnny going through a bag from a shop Maria went. That is tainted with germs, yuck!

Why didn't Aiden just wash the blood off the scissors before binning it?

Why haven't the police done a full background check on Caz?? In fact why would the police lock up Maria in the first place? They haven't got much evidence to stand on and it'd be a waste of police time.

She uses them the wrong way round, no wonder she can hardly walk I thought I must be using mine the wrong way round, so I tried it Anna's way. Can somebody pop round to ours and help me up please?

Wasn't the coat that Anna came out of hospital wearing the same one she had on when she was engulfed in flames? Seems to have fared remarkably well if so, with no visible charred edges!

The router id and password is printed on mine !

I always switch it off when I go out or watch tv. Caz would have to sit there and wait for something to happen, and if Maria is like me, she wouldn't switch it on until she was about to use the computer.
Yeah, but is Caz accessing the camera by raw ip or by DDNS? If the former then the ip address will change when the router is, as has been suggested, powered off/on, and any connection will be lost.. If the latter then she must be running a DDNS host on a pc somewhere in the flat that is connected to the wireless router. She must be quite clever also to set up the port forwarding in the router, besides cracking the Advanced Settings password (it's not on the base).
Or is she using a wifi camera (£29.95 off Ebay) to connect directly to her own pc, in which case she must be sitting in the next room and consequently would not be too hard to find.
They teach you some good stuff in the Army these days

Knowing what a fruit loop Caz is why has it taken Maria so long to change the locks on the flat?

Also, that policewoman who seems to be stalking Maria, when will she stop questioning her in the middle of public places and take her down the station to do it instead?

She is the only police officer in wetherfield, so she has to do everything. They only ever have one at a time.

It must be made of the same stuff as Kals jacket that survived the explosion and fire.

Is it really likely that a young girl like Bethany would have a crush on someone as old and ordinary as Gary?

Speaking of more contrivances, Sarah decides to tell Gary about David just...because. Now she moans that he is angry and things have been ruined. Well duh, what do you think would have happened?

And yes Anna will be scarred for life, which in Corrie terms means a few weeks.

The thing is though Maria refused to change the locks when Aiden suggested it because Caz is so fiendish she'd be able to pick the locks anyway.

*sigh*

Its ludicrous. If she thinks Caz is coming back, why doesn't she install CCTV so she can show the only police officer in Wetherfield that Caz is alive and well?

People have been arrested and convicted of murder without a body ever being found, but this storyline is completely ridiculous.

The whole thing is contrived nonsense. I don't know why Maria and Aidan didn't show the scissors to the police to prove their point that Caz was behind it all. A murderer would never hand over a bloodied murder weapon while claiming to be completely innocent.

Would they not usually have evidence that the person in question is dead, like bone fragments? The police here are assuming Caz has been killed without any evidence to support it and they could find evidence of her still being alive and framing Maria if they'd have bothered to check the CCTV at the cash point in London that was used with the credit card.

I might have missed it but was Maria 'booked in' at the police station?

From I've seen on proper police programmes, don't they need to go through a custody officer first, who then tells them what they're being charged with?

From what I saw, PC Sourface marched her in off the street and straight into a cell.

Incidentally, what about the small matter of evidence? Exactly what evidence do they have that Caz is dead? Obviously none, as we know that she's alive and well and regularly popping into Maria's flat but a smear of blood on a wall and a pair of blood-covered scissors does not a murder make.

If they had been upfront about the scissors forensics would have been able to say how fresh the blood was ... it would have changed considerably after a few days .... I know ... I watch silent witness...

The police are stretched to the limit after a drug crazed Izzie took out 50% of them in a rage. They were counting on Craig to bolster the ranks but the high standards eliminated him. It's hard to get recuits that are as sharp as a bowling ball like the multitasking Sourface.
