Would Maria really have been put in a cell by the same person who arrested her?
You all seemingly expect too much for the less than half n hour episodes
If you want reality , its best not to watch soap things,

be lucky she was not seen merely arrested,,,,(which does happen in reality) anyway many of you believe the reality of Silent Witness,,,,,

her being seen in the nick was a filler, thats all.

You all having a thread of non reality etc,,,is alight with too much looking at not really important things in soaps
Just enjoy what you get(or don't watch it)

Did Anna have her nightie on under her coat when she came home?!
Dunno - I had no interest in what she may have had on under her coat! Maria, Sarah, Eva .. yes !!!

People have been arrested and convicted of murder without a body ever being found, but this storyline is completely ridiculous.
I know!
How do they even know any of the blood is Caz's??
Did they ever get a DNA trace from Caz, or would they have gotten that from her clothes?
It's absolutely barmy.

I think Caz will do something, not knowing that Maria is in prison, and then the police will know it couldn't have been Maria...

I've only just copped on! The solicitor who will come in to to see Maria will be Ken Barlow's son!

??? Maybe you should take your own advice, enjoy it and let people who want to point out SORs do that instead of criticising them.

AND. Even if it was found to be Caz's blood on walls, the rug and on scissors, the person could have had nosebleeds. Or damaged themselves purposely.
Or been in a fight with someone. There is no logical direct link with that person being murdered and being actually dead.
The case would be chucked out of court straightaway...

Do you not realize you are asking than an outlet for creative writing be curtailed and possibly eliminated. Publishing company's break hearts with rejection slips, this forum encourages us and it certainly rises to a high level of creativity. Don't kill us for pitys sake.

Did Faye bring 2 packs of biscuits to the flat, then announce to Gareh, a short while later, they had none?
I admit, I did watch most of last night's eps through a drunken haze, so maybe Faye n Fishwife hadn't ploughed through a load of bics, Anna being out of sorts and all.

Re the discovered bag ...

Johnny said that Aidan would have some explaining to do because he was with Maria when she bought the toy for Liam which was in the bag ...

Why?

Because it comes under a little-known law called 'murder by association even if there's not even been a murder'.

The police are stretched to the limit after a drug crazed Izzie took out 50% of them in a rage. They were counting on Craig to bolster the ranks but the high standards eliminated him. It's hard to get recuits that are as sharp as a bowling ball like the multitasking Sourface.

If it wasn't for old Sourface, there'd be anarchy in the whole of the north of England. She's doing a marvellous job.

If they had been upfront about the scissors forensics would have been able to say how fresh the blood was ... it would have changed considerably after a few days .... I know ... I watch silent witness...
Caz seems to have special blood that never dries.

Thank you for putting us all straight. I'm sure we'll all bear your advice in mind.

I'm a bit puzzled though: if a programme is less than half an hour it doesn't need to be realistic, is that right? So presumably if the two half hours were one hour long episode, we should expect it to be less full of silly errors?

What a load of contrived nonsense! Bin collection mix-ups (stolen from Eastenders), then Johnny going through a bag from a shop Maria went. That is tainted with germs, yuck!

Why didn't Aiden just wash the blood off the scissors before binning it?

Why haven't the police done a full background check on Caz?? In fact why would the police lock up Maria in the first place? They haven't got much evidence to stand on and it'd be a waste of police time.
Indeed to all of that, plus (sad I know) but we rewound the scene where Aiden put it in the wheelie bin and it looks like he dropped it on the floor anyway. We'd thought it was going to be seen on the floor, maybe by Jenny when tidying up. Would ahve made more sense than jonny binnng his speech.

why would he bin it in the big bin outside, would he just not put it in the inside bin

Luke and Tracy? Really?!

And yet again supposed to feel sorry for a horrible character when she overheard the conversation between Luke and Robert.

Didn't you see Caz lurking under the railway arch, with a hood up and sunglasses.
None else did, but I bet she was around, the invisible woman.

Do you mean Adam? Doubtful as he's flying in from Canada. Is Daniel a solicitor too? Surely not.... and he's hardly likely to be out of contact if he works around Manchester.

Yep!

(But isn't that how you eat a packet of biscuits? Although maybe not two packets... )

I hope the criticism doesn't deter you from putting your ten cents worth in. It's all in the game. It's a forum to air different opinions and I'm sure you wouldn't want it any other way. It would be as lame as some of the storylines. The same ones that stretch our credulity but are comical and to be treated so.

Izzy needs to get over to Anna, pronto, and sort her out with some 'pain relief'.
Maybe she did already and Anna got the munchies and mowed through a packet of biscuits.
There was no mention of 'uz tea' and Anna's not up to chopping carrots at the minute, so yes, maybe they had biscuits for dinner.
I'm surprised Roy didn't call around with a dinner for them from the Cafe, as that is the sort of thing he would do.
I'm surprised Kevin was so lacking in understanding. If I came home from hospital in pain and discomfort, all I'd want is my own sofa and my own bed, and not someone else's house...
It came across as Anna being difficult somehow.

Hard to see any resemblance between her and her Casualty character Holly Miles http://casualtyno1.tripod.com/sitebu...ures/holly.gif
