I just realised she was in Family Affairs! Didn't realise it was the same person!

I've never murdered someone , but if I did , I may not 'dump' the weapon 2 foot away ..... once again , I'm no expert , but them scissors could be melted down

Practically anything else you could've done with the scissors would've worked. In fact they were (naturally) thrown in the very bin which Mr Connor had to leap in upside down to find some folder and voila, Maria is obviously guilty.

You could've simply;
Cleaned them
Put them in the Salon
Leave them in her hairdressing tools pouch

But of course we haven't had a wrongful arrest of a Street Resident for murder for a few months, it's time and Maria lucked out in being chosen.

If you want reality , its best not to watch soap things,

be lucky she was not seen merely arrested,,,,(which does happen in reality) anyway many of you believe the reality of Silent Witness,,,,,

her being seen in the nick was a filler, thats all.

You all having a thread of non reality etc,,,is alight with too much looking at not really important things in soaps
Just enjoy what you get(or don't watch it)”

We don't expect too much at all. We expect the same standard of entertainment we used to get not so many years ago. And perhaps you could follow your own advice and just enjoy what you get (here) or don't read...

some sites won't let you see the image unless you are signed up to them, it's like facebook sites where you dont see the image because you're not in the group your friend who posted the image is

so you are not doing anything wrong

anyway comments about the scissors, good point, it only implicates maria if somebody sees them and makes that connection on the assumption by caz that she won't just clean them and say nothing

and again we have jenny being all judgemental when she herself have been treated harshly by all for taking jack, maybe maria will ask her to look after Liam

Or even just cleaned and sterilised with the equipment all hairdressers have.

exactly, there's no logic caz leaving them in the bag with the other stuff, her whole logic of doing that is simply because of the script that follows, i will stab myself with scissors, maria will find them as the police arrive, aiden will hide them in underworld bin, jonny will find them, show the police and maria will be jailed for my murder

Surely you're not suggesting that she commits Barbicide?

Not really a SOR but it struck me that Rana is one of the few young people on the street with a decent job that requires qualifications and training. She gets turned to for advice too. Surely this situation can't last and she'll be working in the café before too long.

She does wear more make-up than any nurse I've seen on duty, but lashings of slap seems to be the Corrie norm at the moment

Two SOR's immediately with Adam's arrival the first being would he really light a cigar and take one puff and then throw it on the floor. But the most glaring one being that he walked in and through the factory without a single machinist (particularly Sean) noticing him coming in. And on top of that there has been various owners since Mike's day but the whisky is still kept in the same place

Adam is somewhat self aware that Corrie is so unable to move on from the past that they are still keeping a bottle of whisky in the factory just like Mike did.

And "ugh" at Eva's laugh. Wonder if their small interaction is foreshadowing a future pair up.

The red Jag, the cigar and the whisky = a Baldwin. Did he even have a Mike Baldwin-esque coat on? Bloody laughable.

That soppy nitwit at Ken's bedside. That was Daniel was it?

Kirk was on a Corrie special - open a door and hear everything. But then everyone in the factory probably heard as Corrie characters bellow so loudly.

Speaking of overhearing, anyone think Michael will be bumped off by Vinnie and/or Phelan? Whose side is Phelan on? Will he stay with Eileen or bugger off to Mexico?

I know Seb is meant to be the villain, but Craig's do gooder act is really grating.

Think I read somewhere that -
Spoiler

Adam has his eye on Maria and Aidan gets jealous.

Eva will be well p!ssed off that she isn't the centre of male attention!

Considering that Ken has regularly visited Daniel, wouldn't you think he would take photos of him to show his brother and sister?
Tracey and Peter not recognising him was just plain daft.

So Maria can murder someone whilst on her way back from "that London" and dispose of the body (which weighs about 3 stone more than she does) all by herself.

But she can't dispose of the rug in the same secret location as the body so that it isn't found? And she can't dispose of the scissors in a way that they can't be found? She had time to kill Caz, dispose of the body and then wonder up the street putting random bits in people's bins before calling Kirk round to view the scene?

I'm completely lost. Why is Maria being charged with Murder when there is no body? There wasn't enough blood for Caz to have blead to death so what is it that suggests she's dead?

Yes his coat was a modern day version of Mike's camel overcoat. Could they have made Adam's return anymore cheesy? Even in as far as him looking at the cobbles where Mike died and throwing his cigar on the spot of his death.....GOOD GOD

Every time he needed some time off. Except when he had his BIG time off and went to Canada to visit the other one of his (grand)kids.
