Adam Barlow .....another newcomer throwing their weight around and annoying the regulars. *yawns*

Daniel Barlow ............quiet and polite will be viewed as a weirdo.
He's a Barlow. Son of Sir Kenneth Barlow of Weatherfield and if his character works out he'll inherit the title of street know-all with all the respect currently bestowed on his father.

Only people of the the lower orders are sneered at and judged to be a weirdo if they express an interest in culture like Mary. Oh, and remember when Steve was interested in going to college and studying history?

Actually, everyone in Corrie considered to be to belong to the lower orders get derided. There's a definite hierarchy in Corrie and every character has a fixed place and function.

If you put duelling banjos into u tube, the pair of inbreds do a duet and when they finish they go on a sex crazed rampage on the visitors. Just like the shaggin' Barlow's.
How nice.

Yes. Just like the Barlows.

Although, judging by the standard of the prog, there are probably a lot of inbreds working on Corrie.

Intermittent drooping is a curse! I believe there are tablets that help in this situation,
They could also spoon feed him pablum if he can't get any solids down. That should get him shouting in protest from both sides of his gob.

Ken on the road to one of the quickest recoveries in soap history.

He'll be running the Weatherfield Marathon with Anna next episode.
Callum was passed fit for work by Corrie ATOS.

How vile was Amy? If I were Daniel I'd put her and Tracy in their places.

Looks like Adam will clash with Daniel and Aiden.

Does Adam remind you of the Irish barman (forgotten his name), friend of Peter, who was (in real life) in a Boy band ?

I presume neither Daniel or Adam are the original actors, grown up.

1- only because he has a beard
2-Why would you presume that?

1 The whole physical appearance reminds me of him.

2 Were both actors both conveniently unemployed so they could appear together?

adam yes, in part, Daniel no

Iain De Caestecker played Adam as a child between 2001 & 2003 and Sam Robertson played Adam between 2004 & 2008, and now.

Daniel was played (technically speaking) by Lewis Harney as a baby / toddler between 1995 & 1997, Dominic Holmes in 2007 and Rob Mallard now.

Well there maybe a flat left in the new build that Phelan and Viney are building

As for work ... well there is always the factory
and is Anna still in the same nightie she came home from hospital in?
There is no way she can have a bath or shower with all the dressings on her body, might as well leave the same clothes on, the smell will just be as bad!

No more than usual.

Her fiddle should be smashed over her head and her recorder stuck where the sun don't shine.

To be fair, with the amount of pain she'd be in, you probably wouldn't feel like trying to look nice. Especially with the prospect of the water making the pain worse, even if you do try to avoid the area. Plus, who would help her? I doubt she'd ask Faye or Gary to help bathe her and things seem awkward with Kevin.

On another note, I'm sick of the Barlows already. It's bad enough that we've had Tracy all year from the Carla nonsense and now we get her even more with the family members settling in. And of course, every line she says has to be a sneer at someone. Peter's the only one I like, and Daniel, if they don't make him dodgy or anything.

Has Anna learned to use the crutches the right way yet?

There is no way that people (even family) would put up with Amy and Tracy's rudeness. No way.

Even Ken, on his sick bed, has resumed his usual pained expression "Tracy" every time she is horrible to someone.

It really is time that someone taught Tracy a hard lesson, with bad consequences and then maybe Amy will take note that using her mother as a role model is a bad idea. It would also help if the stupid Macdonald clan came down hard on Amy's rudeness as well.

I don't think we know. Somewhere between 2007 and 2013 according to Corriepedia.

He was born and raised in Scotland and went to school there until he was 18 or so.

Because the actor who plays him is Scottish.

Kevin offering to take Anna out. To Roy's Rolls. Where she works.

He's such a catch.

Maybe he wanted to take her for a crutch down memory lane. I hope she doesn't get an infection rubbing up against Fiz on her cake run.

I agree, Ken said "daniel is proper family." Tracey is adopted, by ken, so she is the outsider if she want to look at proper family

and Amy would soon be brought down a peg or two, even Simon was telling her to shut up. She's 12 so they probably write her as 'stroppy hormonal teen girl' even though she's not a teen yet. Faye dont act like that and they have toned down Bethany

I see Billy made an appearance last night for the first time in ages, he looked overjoyed at Eileen's engagement, breaking out in a huge cheesy grin. Funny he's not been around visiting the sick and injured?

Have to say Daniel looks like a bit of a soppy wimp, but he's the only one of the Barlows who looks like he could be related to Ken.

Wouldn't a nurse be calling to see Anna and sort her out?

I'm also sick of the Barlows. That family is full of mini-meees.

Surely Simon will soon become a drunk and a womanizer. Then there'll be Tracy and Amy who will be sneering. Adam will be asking for his usual cigars, driving his red jag and drinking whisky. But best of all I can't wait till Corrie's no 1 pompous ars3 - Sir Kenneth gets home and starts pontificating with Daniel over literature and all things pertaining to culture.

And I say that as someone who likes literature!

I thought the same about Daniel the first time he appeared - a soppy wimp and he looks like he could be related to Ken. And of course he's studying literature and loves the arts and culture and all that stuff.

Arise Sir Kenneth Barlow the second.

Only time will tell if he has the legendary Sir Kenneth Barlow trademark grimace.
