My husband was in the burns unit for six weeks, not counting the time he spent in normal hospitals before he was transferred.
That's very sad. Hope he's much better now.

But at least you cleared up the issue of Anna's swift discharge. It's all been done too far too quickly. Surely she'd still be in hospital and then later have nurses calling at home to dress her wounds.

Thanks.

Might easily happen. Generally characters on CS can't remain single so therefore both Gail and Brian will have to be paired off with someone, so the writers might as well make it easy on themselves and put them together!

After all "Gail and Brian" does have a ring to it
Like a "Death Knell".

And to suggest a horse and carriage for Roy and Cathy. REALLY??????
That's all we need, there is enough horsesh*t in this S/l as it is!

The meeting in the caf when both Roy and Cathy were working!

How many weddings did Michelle successfully plan
Carla and Nick's, I think is the only one.

As far a Michelle's planning was concerned it was successful. It was just everything else that was a disaster.

The wonderful Michelle conducting a wedding planning meeting in a greasy spoon.

And as someone up-thread said, another one goes tits up.

She must run that business at a loss, surely?

Has that pink folder ever been opened?
I don't think so!

Will almost opened Miss Hell's pink folder , but Miss Hell suddenly remembered how lucky Steve is to have her, and didn't want to put him through the trauma of losing the best thing to ever happen to him.

Would Peter Andre have to give his permission to be mentioned in a story line?
I would think so, especially as Gemma referred to him as a "clown" for failing to show up at the ceremony.

Ken went from lying in bed 24/7 in hospital to going home. A few scenes of him walking about first with a nurse helping him would have been more realistic.

My stepdad had a stroke about 4 years ago and he was in hospital for weeks. At first, he was unable to walk without the help of a frame AND a nurse, then it was just a frame and then a walking stick. This carried on when he got home (the frame and the stick).

He also had nurses and a physiotherapist visit him at home and he had his driving licence taken off him. He was eventually able to attend exercise classes to aid his recovery and then after a few months he got his driving licence back, which ended his feelings of frustration as he relied so much on his car to get him out and about.

Not only did it affect him physically but mentally too; he got very depressed and as I said earlier, frustrated.

Four years on, he's given up smoking, he walks around 2 miles every day and he's far happier but there are still some physical signs, plus his memory isn't what it was, so I'll be very interested to see how CS shows Ken's progress.

No doubt he'll be back to normal, stroke completely forgotten about within a fortnight.

Probably thinks he's died and gone to hell with that horrific crew as 'carers'.

And didn't mind wearing it in Manchester in mid-November when it's bound to be freezing! A bit like Tracy with her short-sleeve blouse last night.
Indeed. All non-comedy women under 45 on Corrie are contractually obliged to dress as if attending a Local Nail Bar of the Year lunch in a heatwave.

Yes, the doctors and hospitals in corrie are miracle workers they can cure stroke victims, burn victims and cancer sufferers within a matter of days or weeks.

It's getting worse is Corrie. I might be in the minority but I liked cuddly wimpish Michael and his death aftermath was absolutely awful.

So Todd goes to 'the office' where Eileen despite all her suspicions has never previously been, even though it's obvious no work is going on there. He finds Michael in the morning yet the next thing we see, Eileen is randomly in the pub with Gail (I mean - she'd have had to go around to her house, take her to the pub and ask to use the back room?!) - Gail wouldn't already have been in the pub because Michael was effectively missing and with a heart condition you'd think she'd have been sick with worry ringing round the hospitals and so on. Yet even Steph wasn't aware there was an issue as she went shopping.

They all looked a bit miffed but there were no tears even though Gail and Michael were sooo in love they were planning a renewal. Then later they all had some fish and chips. Lovely. She even sent Nick to do the identification - Gail's seen so many bodies she's not bothered about saying goodbye to Michael!

Meanwhile poor Maria is banged up in't nick and no-one gives a monkeys! Who is looking after Liam, how is he coping? And how has she been charged with no body, no real evidence apart from some obviously staged scissors and no real motive? If she'd been charged with murder why isn't Aidan an accessory as he handled and disposed of a suspected murder weapon? Why has no CCTV seen Caz, who seems to have a cloak of invisibility instead of a grotty hoodie.

Ken seems to have morphed into the Godfather and his rubbish little insta-family are irritating to say the least. Why is Daniel doing a poor impression of 1960s Ken?

Not forgetting that Sian (Sophie's ex) went out for a meal in a cafe/restaurant the day following the removal of her appendix.

All of the above^^

Plus the incredibly silly reminder of Meeshell the Wonderful Wedding Planner.

There was some stupid line of dialogue about "we have the venue". DUH, there is only ONE venue, it is the law the Beestro must be THE VENUE for any event, although I was a little shocked it didn't keep the gig for the Wethy Best Citizen Award 2016 or whatever it's called. I see Gemma is metamorphosing in front of our very eyes with a makeover and a new home on the Street.

Did Phelan not take her there.........he led Eileen up onto the roof where the viewer was led to believe Phelan was going to push her off the roof.

He did but that was in the early days, there's not been any suggestion that she's been back since.

Logically, it should cause Jason to return home now that his cash has gone. I'm not sure how much was set aside for him to fund his time in Thailand. I bet he doesn't reappear, though!

Of all the bad and crooked things he has done, that was one action he should have done, and didn't.

I don't think I will ever forgive him for wasting such a great opportunity !
