Ken Barlow: "How do you want me to portray a stroke victim"?

Corrie Director: "Talk out of the corner of your mouth with a Scottish accent"

and the Director then added

"Do try to remember to do that every time you speak in every scene, not just once or twice in an episode please. Not much to ask really; it's the only real acting we've asked you to do for years."

Why is Daniel doing a poor impression of 1960s Ken?
Actually, it is a brilliant reconstruction of the terminally dreary character as he was in that era.

I never realized Ken was bilingual.

Speaking of the Platt family not knowing much emotion, David didn't seem very sympathetic despite losing his wife which lead to him nearly committing murder and suicide. Of course that is brushed under the carpet, back to sarky David who now doesn't seem to be mentally disturbed. At least until something else sets him off in a couple of years.

Would Peter Andre have to give his permission to be mentioned in a story line?
No, have you never seen panel shows where they mock well known people and MPs?

doubt she'll be having a vajazzle any time soon

now maria is banged up is caz watching live 24h activity in an empty flat?

if so why is it still here, does she return to remove it and get caught

is it recording as webcams dont record automatically

in fact what was the point of it in the first place and has the daft bat recorded herself stabbing herself with the scissors
Is she banged up? She has more than likely been released on Police bail pending further enquiries. If she had been charged and remanded ( no bail once charged with murder) i think it may have been mentioned

Robert was wearing normal clothes when he came out of Roy's rolls and then he was in his chef's blacks next scene in the Bistro.

You dont go walking through the streets in your chef suit, do you? I always imagined it to be a hygiene issue, similar to nurses?

Caz has not been found dead but the police have found a scapegoat (Maria) to charge with her murder. Michael has been found dead but the police have no interest in questioning yet alone charging anyone with any apparent murder of him.

In Corrieland, the way for the police to charge anyone with murder is for them not to find a corpse!!

When Eileen mentioned to Phelan what Anna had heard Vinnie say on his phone message and Phelan said she was making it up. Then why didn't Eileen say that Anna wouldn't know about Vinnie and the interiors.

Also when Eileen slapped Phelan it was very reminiscent of Miss Piggy whacking Kermit

They could be. In fact, Vinnie & the Interiors could launch their careers with a cover version of Abba's Happy Hawaii.

I see Todd's 'life-changing' scar has made a re-appearance

And talking of Todd, when exactly did he find Michael's body? In one scene it said it was in the morning yet in another it was the afternoon!

Now that Jason and Phelan have gone for a while, who is going to do the building maintenance work around CS ?
There is always only one per trade or occupation there and they have never heard of yellow pages !

Gary Windlass did work at the builders yard for a short while so maybe he could step in, at least it would give him something useful to do.

I think at the very least Eileen should get her kitchen and bathroom retiled.

Yes, they made reference the other day to his 'expertise' in that area, so watch this space!

Good point, I remember when Jason was just a jobbing labourer, next thing you know he could build extensions, rewire houses and fit your central heating !

But he's got a bad back!

off topic - I think:
My daughter hasn't watched Corrie for about a year since she moved into her own place. She called in last night whilst we were watching it and said "was it always this bad?"
