Good point, I remember when Jason was just a jobbing labourer, next thing you know he could build extensions, rewire houses and fit your central heating !
and as an added bonus he'd take his top off

How long has it taken Eileen to realise that the whole flats stuff was a scam? How many people warned her? It was only when Phelan told her that she took any notice. Daft cow. Eileen is such a biatch and so far up her own arse3 that she doesn't seem to do apologies. So how is she going to deal with the buyers of the flats and Anna Windass?Perhaps she could get some advice from her arch nemesis Gail as she went through the same with Richard Hillman.

I can't feel sympathy for the investors either, as they couldn't even bring themselves to go round the corner to see how it was coming along.

They'll get over it anyway, it isn't like characters who lose money suffer any long-term effects. Sarah will continue to live at David's cramped house like she has done since returning last year, and Rita won't notice as she has an infinite supply of cash in her bank account. She'll be throwing her dosh about in a year's time investing in more stuff for her surrogate daughters.

Rita should buy a big house with her wonga and fill it with all the surrogate daughters she finds.

Just remembering to affect a slight limp and a grimace a couple of seconds too late...

Pretty impossible for an unexpected death, I would think?

Dead and buried within a week!!!!

Laughable.

Dear Anna Windass poking her nose in. And true to form she has a complete screaming hissy bitch fit in public. Would someone kindly do something about that woman?

Did anybody outside Corrie buy any of the flats ? There seemed to be a few extras in the Rovers. It is lucky the Rovers was free to hold the meeting, and that everybody could get time off work to come along. I presume Norris (who would surely have loved to have been there !) was looking after the Kabin.

He was in a Young Offenders Institution for a couple of months and I think moved away from the street for a while after he finally split with Tina.

How come no one has comforted Michelle over the death of Michael? Shouldn't she be at the bottom of the stairs snivelling about everyone being conned? I'm so worried about her. ROBERT where are you in her time of need.

I'd assume a lot more people paid deposits than turned up in the Rovers, they were supposedly selling each one several times over. That could be 40 or 50 people.

Well Todd did say "I think we are all here". He obviously knew how many extras had been paid for

But he's got a bad back!

off topic - I think:
My daughter hasn't watched Corrie for about a year since she moved into her own place. She called in last night whilst we were watching it and said "was it always this bad?"
Maybe she was referring to the state of your house.

Eileen - she just can't help herself, can she?

Despite eventually discovering the 'truth' about the non-existent flats and throwing Phelan out, her desperation to have a man in her life at any cost overrides any common sense she may have by letting Phelan back into her house and no doubt, back into her bed.

What a feeble excuse she used too. I assume she thinks that having Phelan under her roof means that she can keep an eye on him to ensure that he gets Jason's money back but she was blind to Phelan's dodgy dealings over the flats so how she thinks this will work is beyond me but it just shows how desperate she is.

The woman is a disgrace.

Eileen said that Phelan could sleep in Sean's old room. What room was this?

The front room, which in real life house is used as the living room but in Corrie they are often used as a extra bedroom, just so houses can have an extra occupant than they would normally have bedrooms for.

traditionally the front room (or parlour) was used for entertaining and for "best"

If everyone thinks the flats are almost ready, then how come nobody insisted on taking the flats as they are, or adding enough money to complete them?
