When they were told they'd lost their money it was really quiet. Surely IRL there'd be uproar.
Stupid, absolutely stupid. Michaels funeral today? Blimey, apart from post mortems etc., at this time of year there's usually quite a delay. I wonder why they have rushed it along? |

I noticed that David told Daniel that his gran owned the hairdressers. Didn't she sign it over to him and Kylie a couple of years ago? Or did she then take it back again?

I can't feel sympathy for the investors either, as they couldn't even bring themselves to go round the corner to see how it was coming along.
They'll get over it anyway, it isn't like characters who lose money suffer any long-term effects. Sarah will continue to live at David's cramped house like she has done since returning last year, and Rita won't notice as she has an infinite supply of cash in her bank account. She'll be throwing her dosh about in a year's time investing in more stuff for her surrogate daughters. |

every episode stretches reality more than the previous one. if reality had been made of elastic it would have snapped longer ago than the knicker elastic on many characters.
so many people thought the new producer would improve things and the opposite seems to be the case |

history wise the salon was started by Denise who sold it onto Fiona who in turn sold it on to Audrey. it's first incarnation was Emily's charity shop. how would Daniel have memories of the salon when he was a young toddler when he left. he may remember the salon flat or Ken's house where he lived but he wouldn't go in the salon much. and bearing in mind he's 21 why did Tracey assume he is still living with his mother |

I can't remember what's been said and what's been in the spoilers! What I don't get is why he hasn't been in contact with Ken, if he's been living in the Manchester area, especially as Ken supposedly went to visit in 2011, which must have been immediately before
Spoiler
Why did Tracey need a lift to this flat, anyway? Why couldn't she use her own van? |

"I'm on a breakdown Ty, I'll be gone for a while" Ty was inside, where the phone is, so wouldn't he have wondered how Luke knew about said breakdown? |

He'd have been 10 or 11 when they moved to Scotland , so he'd probably remember something of it and I don't think it will have changed a great deal.

I can still remember the episode when Ken first met Denise, he called in to the salon to get a haircut , and I think he asked her out for a drink that day. He must have been about 60 at the time, and still had a thick, floppy hairdo , who'd have thought he would still have it over 20 years later. Ken's hair is a wonder to behold !

The front room, which in real life house is used as the living room but in Corrie they are often used as a extra bedroom, just so houses can have an extra occupant than they would normally have bedrooms for.
![]() ![]() Now, apparently , Brian and him are going to be fighting over Norris's spare room. How ridiculous, that two middle aged men would fight over a tiny room in an old fashioned house , run by someone like Norris. Thing is do people actually take lodgers into their homes nowadays, I remember neighbours doing that years ago, but don't know anyone one who does it nowadays.?

Yep, it's more ridiculous when you consider within the timeline of the show it has only been about 2 days since Michael's death.
Still with Kylie, Michael and Callum gone, there'll be a bit more space over at Chez Platt.
