How ridiculous, that two middle aged men would fight over a tiny room in an old fashioned house , run by someone like Norris. Thing is do people actually take lodgers into their homes nowadays, I remember neighbours doing that years ago, but don't know anyone one who does it nowadays.? ”

And Brian has a job, he couod afford to rent a 1 bed flat no problem
Who on earth that age would be a lodger given the choice

It was only about a week ago that he was bedridden and had got out of bed for physio and complained about having to use a walking frame. Now he is off over the road striding out like a good un

The Weatherfield air has healing properties.
I would not be surprised if Michael makes a full recovery from his death.

think it was to do with her working extra shifts so Tracey could stay with Ken

Poor Amy will be a bit hungry with just a salad as the lasagna had cheese sauce on it

What about the flat next to Rita's that he bought with Julie? Was that ever sold?

What about Ken? He's a veggie.

Crikey meat-free and lactose-free lasagne on Corrie. Who'd a thought it?

And let's not forget all those nutarians living on the street.

There's really no need to bring religion into it. The residents are entitled to worship as they..... oh hang on a minute you said nutarians. Sorry, my mistake.

As Peter was walking across to the bus stop to talk to Daniel (who, when you are not looking at the TV screen, sounds like Craig) a car shot down between the Kebab shop and the cab office, which must have then done an emergency stop as there's the redundant gates to the old brewery there

When Dev popped in to see Zeedan, but found Yasmeen home alone, she offered him some food. When he accepted, she presented him with an already plated meal! How long had that been sat waiting for?

What is the correct pronunciation of his name? Yasmeen calls him ZeeDAN but Alya calls him ZEEdan. Surely his family would all pronounce it the same way!

Brian has a job with Weatherfield Council, so was presumably living somewhere within commuting distance of Weatherfield, but the moment he steps foot on Coronation Street he forgets all about his house/flat nearby and has to fight it out with Sean to lodge with Norris.

Micheal unexpectedly dies in suspicious circumstances, but not only are the police completely uninterested but his body's been released and a church funeral has been arranged in a week!

Funny David complained that people keep going on about Maria being banged up, even though Audrey is the first one to mention it since it occurred over a week ago. Other characters associated with Maria seem to have just gotten on with their lives.

The police are slacking recently. They haven't even bothered questioning David further about the car accident a couple of weeks ago, it seems to have been completely dropped. David must have used that memory wiping device Tracy uses on others to forget all about her past misdeeds (evidenced by Mary actually thinking Tracy is a decent person).

Nutjobs. The street is full of them.

Re the flats scam:

If each flat was sold a few times, why didn't this become obvious in the meeting at the Rovers? Did Todd only invite one buyer per flat? If so, why weren't there other meetings for the other buyers?

Why didn't the flat buyers demand to go to the site to see progress? If there had been no building works than how can Todd and Phelan not have known this, especially as Phelan was supposed to be doing the work?

The whole thing has been badly re-written to keep Phelan in the show. Absolutely ridiculous. However, I am pleased he is staying as he is one of the few reasons to watch.

The worst being Luke, a nice character with morals and good judgement, who is now suddenly salivating at the mouth every time he sees low-life Tracey
This pairing is beyond ridiculous and is making a joke out of Luke's character. You'd think he'd be somewhat concerned that his ex is banged up but he seems happier than ever!

Who's paid for Michael's funeral?? 🤔 Where on earth do they get the money from for all these funerals at short notice?

I wondered that too, like when Maddy died and Kevin was quite happy to pay for her funeral, even though they have relatives alive.

Realistically, it can be a problem for a lot of people trying to cover those kind of costs yet in soapland it's never been explored. It was refreshing to see Moira in ED have a low budget one for her daughter though.

Tracy knows how to manipulate men with sex.
Remember how she dressed up in a leather skirt, knee high boots and fishnets before she killed Charlie?
Maria was more likely to greet Luke in a woolen onesie.

So we have another wrongun in Adam pulling a scam with a mate on his hired car just like any normal street in the UK.

But given time, will he reform and come good like Gemma and Kylie, or will they take him down the Tracey/Todd route of having a conscience some of the time or stay a wrongun like Phelan?

Last night when Adam went outside to take the phone call there was clearly a wooden fence between the houses. When did that appear, all the gardens, in the past, were enclosed by a brick wall?

The bit where Sarah said to Gail, 'whenever you hear an ice cream van in the Summer you'll think of Michael' was very strange. Was it supposed to be funny or sweet. It sounded like somehing nanna would've said in the Royle Family.

What happened to his ice cream van? Will that be forgotten about or will it appear outside Gail's next time they need a hilarous dash to the hospital and its the only vehicle to go in. Say when Michelle or Leanne goes into labour, I can see it now.

All these long lost kids of Ken's are too much. He's gone from gurning Tracey to having three sons as well overnight. I know they came back after Ken's stroke (which like Anna's burns seems to have almost have miraculously gone) but why didn't they appear after Deidree died or for Christmas visits or birthdays?

Ken's been told to phase out the dreadful 'stroke acting' of talking out the side of his mouth, he was almost speaking normally last night.

I just had a thought being as Michelle has history of taking the wrong baby home I wonder if that will be the case, her and Leanne will have the babies at the same time and Michelle will end up taking the wrong one home.
