Charge of murder based on what exactly, a missing person, blood stain on wall, rug and blood on a pair of scissors and hearsay over one sided telephone call, all of which is pretty circumstantial to say the least, if the police believe Maria killed Caz where do they imagine that she did it and how do they even know the blood is Caz's?

I know it's been mentioned before but, of all of the SORs in this case, the one that makes me laugh is that, having successfully hidden a body, Maria (and/or her dastardly assistant Aidan) couldn't manage to hide the murder weapon with it.

Also, the great shame is that, leaving aside the fact that the story is riddled with holes, the production is ignoring the opportunity to show some decent scenes of the investigation progress and Maria's interviews.

Well, without the skills of Michelle - super dooper, brilliant wedding planner, marvellous business woman extraordinaire and kiss of death to any wedding - Connor - er dunno!

Yep all pretty daft. She may have been arrested on a suspicion of murder but there is no way in hell that the CPS would allow an actual charge with such flimsy evidence. That is why i reckon she has been released on Police Bail or simply released.

The scene was that an old guy was asking someone to help him block a call from his girlfriend on his mobile. Then suddenly he sees her coming towards him. It is Kym Marsh - how lucky he was !

Not only did Maria manage to hide a body - presumably carrying it down the stairs, then down the street - she also cleverly managed to do this whilst on a train from London.

She also managed to do it without leaving a trail of blood!

No, I am not mixing them up. Susan clearly had an abortion in 1987 which is why Mike finished with her. She wasn't lying. Then in 2000 history was rewritten when she came back with a different head, claimed she hadn't had an abortion after all (despite all the 1987 evidence that she had had one), then a few weeks later conveniently died in a car crash all to set up another Mike v Ken clash. If this thread had been going in 2000 it would have been in meltdown!!

That's right, I remember it. There was never even an inkling of a suggestion that she had lied about the abortion. She had no reason to lie.

Plus it was made out Ken hadn't seen her since 1987 (so didn't know about Adam) yet he visited her off-screen before in the 1990s.

Now we have a similar situation where Daniel was apparently abandoned by his mother in 2010 and Ken was completely oblivious, despite him going to stay with them for a few days in 2011.

Indeed. Mike wanted children she didn't. But she still wanted to stay with Mike. Thirteen years later they completely twisted this around making out she wanted a baby but she didn't want Mike.

They are horrible, yet this latest ploy will probably be laughed off as high jinxs and if there's any blame it will all be Erica's fault.

I don't mind Daniel, but it's strange this rather minor character (who appeared as a baby for a year or two in the 1990s and a boy for a few episodes in 2007) has come out of nowhere, with these hidden secrets and suddenly hanging around the place. It seems so random. It would have been funny when he went to see Ken in the hospital and Ken didn't know who he is.

And of course we have Adam, who has only been back about two weeks, but has already got into a feud with Aidan and is now a crook. Because what Corrie needs is a male Tracy Barlow.

And as for Daniel, I don't know why they made out Denise abandoned him six years ago. Surely two would have sufficed, unless there is more to the plot. Although I don't know why she had to "abandon" him at all.

The school rang Kirk to say that Liam was upset because he was missing his mum which makes me think Maria is still locked up somewhere!

It sounds like Maria may have been charged with murder and remanded in custody. But given that she is a lone parent with a young child, this is just another implausible aspect.

I don't buy this in relation to Luke's character though.
The writers have completely "retconned" his character

Which should beg the question with the police considering that Maria is supposed to of murdered Caz with the hairdressing scissors how come there was so little blood and how do they know it is definitely Caz's blood?

There was also a showdown (yet another) between Mike and Ken where Mike was telling him(Ken) what a lovely daughter he had, aborting his first grandchild.
