Im a bit puzzled about something that happened last night. Right Audrey told Kylie and David they could go early Max had swimming and David could leave as well. Now we heard the front door of the shop close because they wouldnt leave it open . Now when Audrey had her "funny do" and collapsed on the sofa, Ken came out of his house..and saw the front door open??? But Kylie and David closed it behind them???

It was just a plot device to get Ken to enter the salon to find Audrey having a swoon, nothing to get confused about.

Presumably when he did it was well after the shops regular closing time as he seemed to be attracted to the shop by the lights still being on

I think this is what some people see as ridiculous normally Anna is quite outspoken and wouldn't think twice about speaking her mind and telling someone where to get off, it's as if when Phelan is around or mentioned she has a complete change of character and becomes a complete nervous wreck that is what is SOR about it, because it's like a switch that can be turned on or of from one second to the next and that is either poor acting or poor script writing or both..

Ken and Gail have lived on that street for decades. They would of course know each others landline numbers off by heart, from the time before mobiles!
![]() Why would Ken ring Gail regularly? Unless he has been up to his tricks with her?

Someone should have told Audrey beforehand where the heart is actually positioned in the human body.

Jenny Bradley told Rita that she "piggy backs off next door's wi-fi, they haven't got a password" ... and Rita didn't ask what she meant?
Rita's tech knowledge is increasing by the minute! |

I doubt it was supposed to be a heart attack more likely what was in the olden days called 'a touch of the vapours'.
![]() Fair play to Ken for being able to assess that she was having an attack after only a quick look at her

Great dialogue last night between Ken and Gail in the street!
Ken asks how she is, Gail says "I'm good", then he asks how Audrey is, and Gail says "She's good"! SOR that someone of Gail's age would use that annoying Americanism , surely she'd be more likely to say "I'm fine, thanks". No one I know uses that annoying expression, yet everyone on telly says it.

Didn't he also say "How's Audrey?" Nit-picking but I thought that was a bit odd - wouldn't you be more inclined to say "How's your mum?"
Anyway, speaking of Audrey, did she not say that she has loved him for months, since before Nessa, so within 5 mins of poor Deirdre dying, she had fallen for him. She's a bit old for Ken, though , he usually likes them a bit younger. What will happen next, will he move to Grasmere Dr, I wonder?

Scored again! Get in! Yeesss! Despite telling Nessa that a relationship was too soon about his beloved Deirdre's passing, about two days later he was chasing Audrey. And now Ken has Audrey within his grasp. No doubt he'll be doing her as soon as she's got over her funny turn. |

Coronation Street is struggling with its identity, it has so many Comedy characters/moments that it does not know if its meant to be a Soap-Drama or a Sitcom.
It sometimes has me cringing at my TV. |

It sometimes has me cringing at my TV. Nowadays, Coronation Street has about as much claim to reality as the BBC's "Casualty" has to accurately represent life in an a current day NHS Hospital. |

Let's be honest anytime would be too soon for a relationship with Nessie.

I assumed he was just using that as an excuse, to let her down easily. Fundamentally he knew they just weren't suited.
