Any thoughts about that weird scene with Rana pretending she was looking for a book at the doctors? It looked like she grabbed a few boxes of medication. Please say she's not going to suddenly have a blink and you'll miss it addiction. Not sure why it would only come up now just because babies have been mentioned. She had no problem when she accepted Zeedan's proposal and went through with marrying him, despite Zeedan's trust issues after Shariff's affair. Wouldn't she have felt guilty before now to keep something from him after the knock he's suffered?
I think it was packets of the Pill?? Because of all the baby talk...Now we will have Zeedan all dewey eyed about babies, about 5 mins after himself and Rana have done it (to use the medical term) for the first time. Unlikely.

And why is Freddie moving in with Fix and Ty and the kids? Who in their right minds would want to go home to that of an evening, unless they had no choice.

And haven't they just thrown out Luke? Or did I dream it?

I wonder if Kate and Aidan have ever considered a career in the police force, especially Kate the her detective work in finding out Caz had installed a camera from a credit card statement and then setting up Caz to make an appearance was simply amazing.

I am painfully aware that you have zero understanding of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 and The Bail Act of 1976 and you are simply trolling and baiting. I have asked to let the thread carry on as normal.
JC is simply a shortened term for Judge In Chambers and is in regular use by Solicitors and Barristers

Back to the original question, where was Caz hiding.
this is a suspension of reality thread and acts of parliament and criminal law procedure are prime examples of actaual reality from which corrie writers diverge. the rules are there for the benefit of the individual, not easy to to sidestep but the corrie writers do so with ease and the sad thing is that so many viewers come to accept these errors are the truth or shall we say the reality which has been suspended. googling the acts of parliament to find out the enactment dates does not give you much understanding of what their provisions contain.

i am surprised that you do not call the lawyers 'briefs'.

my original point was that the writers got the whole question of maria's custody hopelessly wrong . please do add to those errors of fact.

if the writers are able to produce caz out of a hat so quickly who knows where they had her hiding. a barrista's chambers perhaps/

If only some people were as knowledgeable about using the 'quote' system as they are the law then we might not end up with it looking like some people are quoting themselves.

I wondered about that and about Caz's arrest but not being an expert in law, I didn't dare say owt.
wisely spoken but lack of knowledge of the law is not just confined to the writers

I respect the fact that everyone is entitled to an opinion and the right to argue it but ...

when such a divergence of opinions strays far beyond SORs and involves only two contributors - wouldn't it be best to take it to an exchange of DMs?

Please!

Absolute nonsense, he must be losing his marbles, moving there from his own place with all his things and memories. Why do the writers have to have everybody on the show living on the one street (other than Audrey)? It's beyond farcical.

Presumably (like Cathy) Freddie's house will be completely forgotten. He won't sell it or rent it out, it will never be mentioned again and he'll move into Fiz's (just like Brian did with Norris) along with a couple of bags, yet will quickly be seen have far more clothes and belongings than could ever have been squeezed into those bags. It's always the same!

My theory on Rana and the pills. She was a man and secretly had a sex change so she has to steal the hormone pills to keep her looking female, without the risk of anyone finding out she has a repeat prescription. Without them she wouldn't be the slim attractive young woman she is, but a big, burly, highly muscled man.

No more implausible than some of the stories lately - paying £15,00o to hold a flat and never checking on the progress of it; being severely burnt and up and walking normally within a week or so; police searching a flat and not finding a video camera; Maria being released within an hour or so of Caz being caught out; Gail having four dead husbands .................................. Oh! and everybody being so lucky that Michelle is in their lives.

How much stupider can Corrie get, a man of Freddy's age leaving his own home to lodge in that hovel, all because of a casual conversation where Ty said the kids were missing him and they missed his rent?? He only stayed with them about a week!
Not only that, Alya said a few weeks ago that she was sleeping on Fiz's sofa , that was unbelievable enough, but I suppose she is homeless, unlike Freddy who has a choice.
Anyway, if Alya has to sleep on the couch , how come they have a room for Freddy, absolute tosh.

She'll be on the pill. I thought the camera work was subtle, panning on that baby poster.

Freddie moving in Fiz and Ty's hovel is daft. Doesn't Alya still kip there? And what will happen to that nice big house Freddie has?

So is Freddie sleeping on the sofa. I never thought they were compatible as a couple and the varnish not even dry on the nails of Freddies dead wife. I could see Kylie and him together but Alya is right out of left field for me. Live and learn.

That can never happen. As soon as they passed through Corrie Police/Detective school they'd be worse than useless just like the rest. It's best they stay as they are and help out where they can.

Maria didn't change the locks!

I thought they said the locks had been changed.

Wasn't she in her bedsit or whatever watching what was going on at Maria's and then when Aidan left she rushed over? That still doesn't answer how she got into Maria's flat though.
Yes after the scissors incident Maria had the locks changed. God knows where Caz appeared from and how she got in

Can someone please tell me (as I missed the explanation) why are Freddie and Tyrone collecting junk? Originally Tyrone was doing it to sort out last xmas's debts, then he had one lot of junk , he ate paste sandwiches once and they missed out on the pub once and amazingly after those vast savings the debts were cleared

So why are they doing it all of a sudden again?

Yes definately an odd couple, there was a bit of a spark between Kylie and Freddie

So a bit awkward if they both share the sofa

Knowing Corrie probably just for the scene of Tim spotting and buying the vase so he could con the Weatherfield Achalogical society into digging his allotment.

Can't believe you just said that..
