Did the real Tracy Barlow get abducted by aliens or something? What was with her being nice to Mary when she was being asked for time off?

Nessa. *groans*

Has Maria even seen Liam once since she's been out of prison? She's already palming him off to Kirk to spend time with Aiden. Any Maria fans should steer clear of the Corrie Facebook comments though. If Maria was a real person, her ears would be burning with fire.

I'm still confused as to why Rana had to steal contraceptive pills rather than have them prescribed. And of course she has to take them while in the Nazir house, to lead to Zeedan or someone finding them. *rolls eyes*

Suspension of reality coming very soon. People will receive all their Christmas cards at once!

Seriously though, I notice how when the Christmas decorations etc are put up, these include a batch of Christmas cards. In reality, we receive Christmas cards on various days in the run-up to Christmas. In Corrie, they go from zero to say 30 Christmas cards overnight, and we see residents' houses with no increase in cards as we approach the big day.

I love this one.

It gets me every year. I half expected to see them on the Barlows' dresser last night.

The Platts always get their's all in one go too.

if daniel was in a flat why did he go upstairs when he left to clear his bedroom

and they inferred he grew up there with the height markings on the wall yet the flat we saw in 2007 was the bog standard open plan blue print of tv land.

and i miss something when ken and daniel went on a walk as we never saw them on any walk

as ever the story has more holes than the blue john mines

A woman's handbag is a secret place! My husband would never even consider looking in mine unless I specifically told him to, any more than I would think of looking in his wallet.

Is it against Muslim religion to take the contraceptive pill? Presumably if it is, she wouldn't want a record of it anywhere that she's taking it in case Zeedan found out since he's a devout Muslim when it suits him and wouldn't sleep with a woman until he was married.

I can assure you that it is darker than that!

In real life maybe, but in soap land they are always used to hide something where they are inevitable left open so the contents can be viewed or left so they can be knocked over so the hidden object can fall out.

I think it was clear Aidan was protesting too much after the one night stand - on one didn't regret it as much as he said he did. I do think he genuinely like Maria but he's confused, doesn't want to hurt Eva and so is handling it completely wrong.

Why do all the characters in the Street seem to use expensive Apple iPhones?

Even the lad that 'works' in the caff uses one. I would have thought it more realistic if most of them used much cheaper phones.

Or is this another example of subtle 'product placement'?

And as Ken had visited them there, why was he so taken aback when he saw the flat?

Amazing too that Daniel had managed just fine for 6 years, but now that he's appeared back on the street he is behind 3 months' rent.

Have to say I laughed at the look of disgust on Ken's face as he looked around the flat, it wasn't all that bad, considering his own house is a museum that hasn't been decorated for about 30 years or more . Has he ever seen the inside of Chez Dobbs, Daniels's flat is like a palace compared to that ?

Isn't Aidan a git?

That Zeedan gets more arsey and childish in every episode. How soon will it be before he finds his wife's contraceptive pills and has another strop?

What the hell was Cathy on about tonight when she was moaning about Nessa? She was invited to the wedding and turned up a few days early. So what? Why does Roy want to be stuck with that miserable cow? She's not perfect herself. As we saw when she expected Roy to overlook her nephew using his car without permission and then wanted money for a deposit for a flat from him. Cheeky cow.

And as for Ken Barlow and that tedious mini-me son with the even more tedious where's Denise SL. zzzzzzzzzz And then there's Tracy popping up in every bar on the street. ”

Considering what happened to those £15k handouts to Vinnie, you'd think there would be some recriminations, and even the positively saintly Roy would surely point out that it was a very good job he didn't fork out the money when Cathy wanted him to.

What a mismatched couple Roy and Cathy are. Would he really fall for someone as unintellectual as Cathy? They don't seem to share any interests, or even have a similar outlook on the world.

This gag was first done in Porridge way back in 1973 when Fletcher wrote to his wife hinting that something was buried in the garden and the police dug it over good and proper.

I'm sure Stuffy is laying down in a darkened room doing some serious deep breathing (or maybe heavy breathing).

She always reminds me of Lily Savage. It's her grimacing. lip curling and face pulling that does it and being far too 'done up'. With the way she looks, stupid laugh and ditsy personality there's defintiely a touch of Cupid Stunt in there too. Corrie overplay Eva. And that hair doesn't help. it looked a bit yellow last night.

Tone her down a bit and make her real.

Daniel said Denise left him a debit card. Presume she managed all the household stuff online or she would have had to collect her post. Did he put up the Christmas decos for himself every year, then get an M&S turkey dinner on Denise's card, and eat it all alone on Christmas day?? While opening the presents he bought himself.
