Sorry, for some reason this came through twice. I don't really think my opinion is that important!
The opinion of anyone praising My Eva is important, it's the detractracters who need to watch out!!

No. Assuming they've been invented as of the last ep so that she can stay at Yazmeen's and on the street.

I can't believe how tactless Cathy is.

No, I really can't for a woman whose intellect is supposedly on a par with Roy's.

She is condescending, brash and talks to him like a child. Or in the case of this 'will they, won't they' wedding saga, has talked down at him. Cathy should never have pushed Roy into marriage and probably would've been aghast if she saw what she did from afar.

Cathy is one of many characters whose personality seems to change at the mercy of every scriptwriter. Wordly one minute, hopless comedian the next. They just have no clue what to do with them......a shame as Melanie Hill is the sort of actress that would've flourished on Corrie back in the 80s and 90s.

Do England trees lose leaves in December? Those trees were so nice and green at the pond.

The house she stayed in before moving in with Roy?

So true. She was suddenly turned into an absolute airhead bleating about the wedding to (we are so lucky to have her) Michelle - who by the way seems to be the death knell for any wedding she 'plans'.

Completely agree, the likes of Melanie Hill is needed, someone who can actually act. Here's hoping she gets a decent role, consistent personality-wise now.

Agreed, shes a great actress, given the right material. I hope she stays and has a chance to develop her character

Michelle and the bistro.

And that's just reminded me. Since when could staff at the bistro just decide to just take the day off like Andy did? Then Nick got told by his gran summat like 'Don't you dare say anything/dock his wages'.

Anna's legs looked like she'd been sitting in a bath of baked beans

How close was Ty standing to Huurp & Roobeh when he was taking their photo in the street? He must have got a really good close-up of the tops of their heads.

Anna going from being hardly able to stand to suddenly being able to walk unaided up the street to post hate mail, anyone else reckon she is swinging the lead, surprised she ain't put in a compo claim.

Many men of the street, whether window cleaners, mechanics, hair dressers or drivers all seem to have their own wide range of suits, shirts and silk ties.despite rarely having need to wear them if it was not for the numerous weddings, non-weddings, funerals, court appearances for which they all seem to have brand new outfits.

The wardrobe department must have good sponsors. I daresay the ladies outfits are even more numerous.

It must have been her influence that caused Roy to pronounce 'neither' as 'neether'. Talking about superlative adjectives IS Roy, using American-style pronunciation is not.

Nessa had a damned cheek assuming she could use Audrey's salon to do Yasmeen's hair.

I must have missed an ep. I don't remember Eileen grovelling for her job back at Streetcars.

For those of us who don't like Americanisms note the bridesmaids leading the bride.

Bride first.

Then the bridesmaids.

And why did we have to have Cathy confronting Roy, Ty and Brian in front everyone?

Just p off Cathy. But of course you won't.
Obviously Cathy decided to have the latest gimmick of having rose petals scattered down the aisle to walk on, although you could hardly see that was what they were doing. In which case it would have been a bit daft for the bridesmaids to follow her scattering them.

I notice Cathy was wearing nice dainty shoes and not the clumpy black ones in the pre-episode publicity photographs. Presumable they must have been taken during rehearsals and she'd decided to have comfortable shoes rather than pretty ones.

Because they don't have a Saturday episode, so those days do not exist on their calender?

Saturdays and Sundays are also vicar Billy's days off. Maybe the new vicar will carry on the tradition so business and industry will continue to grind to a stop every time there's an event.

BIB Completely agree. I have always liked her as an actress and was pleased when she signed for Corrie but I really don't like her character at all. I don't know if she is going to be staying but if she is I hope they fix her. I know part of the reason I don't like Cathy is that she was romantically linked with Roy and then moved in with Alex. It just never rang true to me. So hopefully if she stays they will get it right now.

I thought exactly the same thing. Who would organise a wedding and a funeral so close together on the same day within half a hour of each other with all the pretty flowers and the wedding decorations all around the church. And then say to the couple who were getting wed you can stay chatting here for half an hour until the funeral starts which will mean all the wedding decs will still be up when the funeral procession arrives

BIB I was surprised at that. Do churches actually allow that? It leaves an awful mess to clear up and they don't have cleaners in the church all day. Many churches and Registry Offices don't allow you to throw confetti indoors never mind rose petals being trod into the carpet.
