Didn't Benny Hill write a song about Sophie Webster?

I also wondered when she'd got her accountancy/book keeping qualification that meant she's not only revolutionised the garage's books but that Gail advised Audreh to consider utilising her skills?
Sophie Webster - From surly shop assistant to company shareholder and expert in every aspect of the business world in just a few short months. Michelle Connor is very worried. She's out buying herself a Executive Padded Expandable A4 Clipboard Conference Folder With Notepad as we speak. Summat on the lines of these will suffice: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Executive-Ex.../dp/B0010NG9P6 http://www.executivepensdirect.com/a...lipboard-black |

Did anyone count how many times Tyrone randomly popped up to announce Hope being cancer-free?
It's times like this I miss Harry Hill's TV Burp, no doubt he would have played on that.

Presumably when he did it was well after the shops regular closing time as he seemed to be attracted to the shop by the lights still being on

Were Sally's patronising scenes in the cafe supposed to be funny? She's done some great comedy in the past, but last night the writers just made her a caricature of herself.

As I've already mentioned before the way Mary was treated last night in the Rovers was disgusting. They were laughing and sniggering at her but that's ok because it was only Mary and she's a figure of fun. Had it been someone like Carla, the situation would have been treated differently. |

I may be over cautious, but wouldn't most people wait for the next scan in a fortnight before celebrating that their child was cancer free?

It didnt work for me either, Janet. I am usually a huge Sally fan but I think they over egged the pudding a bit and I am sick of her being in politics already.

All of those scenes were stupid. Why did Ken call an ambulance? Audrey might have only had a bad case of trapped wind for all he knew! And it just had to Ken who 'saved' her didn't it!
What's next for Audrey, a private room at the hospital and a tubes stuck up her schnozz? ![]() and her spleen removed.

Yes and all the people who he said it to had a 'thank god for that. now shut up about it' look on their face, I certainly did when the doctor announced it to Fiz and Ty that's for sure.

You beat me to posting this. I'm no expert, but would there not be some sort of terms of release or something for Jenny that she couldn't go within so may miles of Kevin and Jack (who we haven't seen for months)?
If it has been decided she is of no danger to anyone then there would be no restrictions on her movement. It sounds as if she was treated by a Mental Health team and they cannot place restrictions on peoples movements. |

It's a bit suspicious every time she signs her into the hospital she takes a turn for the best. There are two possibilities to account for this. Fizz either suffers from munchausen syndrome or she's feeding that kid botulism on a bun on a daily basis for dinner. Her fiancee must have some idea, he prefers to chow down at the cafe. What a pair of gannets. An immediate investigation is what's required here.

I think that's the point everybody in the street is sick of Sally being involved with politics.

It doesnt matter how much of a story Corrie will make of Fiz and Ty being in serious debt as it will be totally ruined by them both still using the rovers and the cafe. No one skint uses pubs and cafes

That Sophie Webster's got a cheek. Didn't she bring a low life and a thief to live on the street to give her a second chance? But Rita's not allowed to have Jenny Bradley to stay.

I'm really wracking my brains here and possibly have missed something blindingly obvious, but what connection does Luke have to Audreh or any of the other Platts, that made him feel obliged to go and visit her after her release from hospital?
A question for all you Brits. I always find it a bit of a SOR that women of a certain age in Corrie World - no matter how aged they look - have zero problems attracting males - both younger and in their age group. In North America, from my observations, the majority of older men go for partners that are at least a decade or more younger. I'm thinking especially of Audreh, who, despite her horsey face, seems to have no problem attracting decent men in her age group. Is that commonplace in Britain? |

These kinds of financial storylines often get swept under the carpet after the initial impact has worn off. Izzy was bragging about a night in with an Indian takeaway the other night. It wasn't that long ago she resorted to stealing charity money from her workmates because she and Gary were in such poverty, a dire situation that appeared out of no where and seemingly dissapeared just as quickly.. Same with Eileen stealing off Owen cos her roof needed fixing and she was desperate. No further mention of her financial hardship or her dodgy roof after a few episodes :P. |
